[So, anyone out and about today in Striaton will notice a boy and his Mudkip wandering around the city, mainly taking in the sights.

Hamano seems almost completely entranced by... well, everything! After all, these were only pixels in a video game to him less than a week ago. Of course, he should probably watch where he's going before he bumps into something. Maybe you should intervene...?]

I know all these Pokémon can evolve and change shape and stuff-- [She looks over at Lulu, who's evolved into a Lucario recently in order to emphasize her point.] --but what are... you know, the requirements for it? Are they different for all Pokémon?

What is Crow's biggest fear? For the majority of the month they've been dealing with nightmare manifestation after nightmare manifestation and he hasn't even batted an eye. Heck, Zone's unintentional spawning of his various dying-if-not-somewhat-murderous friends barely got a yawn from him.

That or Crow has gotten a hell of a lot better at hiding emotions than his friends thought.

So then... What IS his greatest fear?

"Hnhnhnhnhnhnh..." Dark laughter is coming over the air of the campsite that he and the others have made, and if one looks now he appears to be floating- though the spiritually sensitive will see something much more deadly surrounding him. "Hnhnhnhnhahahahaha..."

Crow's eyes seem to be glazed over with light for some reason- but that isn't something you can really ask him about to be honest.

He's not exactly home at the moment, and as a small number of trees around him are felled, that much is likely to become dangerously apparent.

[[OOC - Crow's greatest fear at this point is Aiapaec reverting to his previous ways and possessing him, doing just what he did at the beginning of his AU. What with Aiapaec being the 'Decapitator God' of a culture already known for particularly bloody habits, there's a nonetheless good reason for this fear. However, since the event ends in this same day, the possession will end with it! So even if you don't succeed in knocking out the source, don't worry.]]

{The feed start off with Judai grinning at the camera, holding up the Trio Badge that he just earned. Looks like he's outside the Pokemon Center...}

Hey everyone, look what I won! Guess I'm one step closer to home! {He laughs.}

It was a fun battle, though. I hope they're all that good!

Juudaiii.... Juudaiiiii...

{Judai's grin fades, and he looks up, past the camera, and his eyes widen. He drops the Xtranceiver and the badge, so all you can see is his feet as he backs away slowly. You can see a shadow overtake the view, and Judai trips backwards, and falls on his bottom, unable to look away.}

Judai... I missed you... Why did you send me away?

{Judai shakes his head, frozen with fear (though he's not sure why he's afraid) as the dragon-esqe figure stoops and lightly touches his face.}

You shouldn't have sent me away, Judai... But now I can show you my love!

{Then, she suddenly backhands Judai across the face, and he goes flying, landing on top of the Xtranceiver and ending the feed.}

[For anyone who doesn't know, Judai's nightmare is Yubel, a card from his childhood. He doesn't remember her, but somewhere in the back of his mind he's still pretty afraid of her. He'll start fighting back at some point, but he might need some help first...]

GREETINGS! [...Comes a booming voice. Hey! Thor looks like Thor again! He's even got a new tie in his hair~] Fellow 'trainers'! I must introduce you to my greatest friend, and my brother, Loki!

[Loki in question looks up from his book at where they sit- a cafe in Striaton, and shakes his head with a smile. He doesn't look much like the other Loki do oddly enough- his hair is brown, not black. He's also visibly 'in between' their ages.] Thor, there really isn't any need; I'll be returning to Asgard in a few days as it is.

Ahhh, but brother! That is all the more reason to say hello! And I will never forget you for the friend you have left me! [He holds up a combusken at that. The combusken looks about as amused as Loki would if he was in that position. ...However, Loki is not. So instead he smirks.]

Not to mention the one I helped you to capture, yes?

[Thor looks rather upset.] ...I did not think the ice maiden would be so difficult... [FROSLAAAAASSS.]

And yet it was. [More head shaking.]

Ah.. .Well, it matters not! For with their aid, I have received my first badge! [taDAAAAH!!] Loki has also formed for me a new charm; though I am not so unsure about what I looked like before... [Ummm...]

[A shrug from Loki.] As pleased as I am that the shattered illusion was taken so well brother, the fact remains that I took a trek through a desert to reach this place; the heat will be much more bearable with that magic over you, trust me.

You say I would not be able to bear it..!?

[BLUNT-] Sadly no- your body is built for ice brother- not the scorching heat of the desert sands. It's far worse than Asgard's sunniest, trust me.

[There's a look that says 'but you're loki' but in the end, he is also his brother after all...] ...Very well...

Currently outside of Striaton City there is what appears to be a free for all among Sephiroth and most of his Pokémon. Except after a few seconds it becomes apparent that the Pokémon are all attacking the trainer. They look like they might have been at this for a while.

A Vulpix shoots a flame while an Emolga is trying to trip him up and Absol is aiming a Bite at the man's arm.

Sephiroth doesn't have his practice sword today. Oh well, why doesn't really matter. He counters the Vulpix's fire with some sort of Ice. He doesn't manage to dodge the Bite and swings his arm to dislodge Absol, flinging the Pokémon across the field before Emolga manages to trip him.

Then he rolls to his feet in time to get out of the way of a Dragonbreath attack from a swooping Vibrava only to be slammed to the ground again by a Dragonair.

He looks frustrated but, gets up again anyway. Looks like he doesn't plan to stop any time soon.

[[ video ]] Several hours later

[ Sephiroth is sitting against a rock looking like he's just been through hell. In the background some of his Pokémon can be seen curled up sleeping and also kind of looking like they've been through hell. ]

It doesn't seem to take that long for a properly trained Pokémon to gain some extremely destructive powers. And any idiot can gain access to them with little trouble.

[ A pause as he regards his sleeping team. Even weakened by this place he is impressed that they can keep up with him. ]

So, how is it that this world has not devolved into chaos?

[Action - Loki (and potentially Amane)]

"HrrrrrAAAAH-!" Thor seems to be having a grand old time at the Dreamyard right now- and there's not much surprise as to why. Alongside his own mareep's training, he seems to have found a way to work on his own fighting!

...Namely by duking it out either against the concrete pillars in the area, or the trees. "Hahaha!!" Speaking of, one of those pillars just fell. "Even with the strangeness of the air here my strength has not left me!"

Wow Thor, enough pride?

['Video' - Afterward]

[There's nothing on the screen but static, and what little video appears will show that it is dark, or at least blurred enough that you can't see much more than blobs of colour. But you can hear what sounds like heavy breathing- either of the worried or despairing sort.]

[ It's Striaton Gym.

The latest battle may have been a bit out of hand. There are some scorch marks on some of the walls.

Nope. No one gets to see the battle. It's been over for several minutes. Sephiroth is actually sitting down at one of the tables. He's got the badge in his hand... and his Emolga on his shoulder. ]

Such a seemingly simple thing.

[ Nothing odd really about his words but.... There is something almost unsettling about his expression. ]

The keys to returning us to where we belong.

[ He laughs but, there is no amusement in it. His Emolga actually cuddles against his head in an attempt to get him out of the strange mood he's in. ]

If you can call my existence on my world belonging.

[ Minerva does not like wherever his thoughts are going. The cuddling isn't having any effect and she's starting to give off some sparks because he's making her a bit nervous. He's finally going to acknowledge her since his hair is sparking now too. ]

Be calm, Minerva.

[ The mini lecture about how he shouldn't expect her to be calm when he's acting so weird would probably be more effective if he could understand what she was saying. It does distract him from his darker thoughts though. He'll just sigh and give her a soothing pat. Hard to argue when you don't know what the argument is. ]

[ Hazel has made it all the way to Striaton City. She's got her hood as far over her face as she can get it and still see where she's going. And she's just wandering around at random.

She is jumpy and avoiding all contact with anyone she passes by. She's even going so far as keeping at least a foot between her and anyone else. It probably looks suspicious to everyone who sees her even though she's not really up to anything.

The only reason she's braving the city is because she heard about getting gym badges being a possible way home.

No, she's not going to challenge the gym anytime soon. She's just trying to get used to being in a human city so she's not all nervous and stammering when/if she does.

She's kinda been making a squeaking noise and jumping away if anyone happens to brush against her accidentally. She might end up smacking anyone that intentionally touches her. ]

[The feed opens up unexpectedly, as if it was unintentional... A small bird on Dustin's head growled 'Taillow' at one purple cat Pokemon near the outskirts on what was called the Dreamyard.]

Hey, guys! Let's not fight. It was just an accident, right Kapri?

[The Purrloin feined innocence but the Taillow wasn't buying it. It was here, that Dustin realized the feed was on.]

Hey, everyone. I've been trying to figure out what Pokemon I should catch in the Dreamyard. Any suggestions? Also, if anyone is in Striaton City give me a yell.

[After a conversation with N, Batgirl came to the embarrassing conclusion that she had been sleeping on top of the local Pokemon gym since arriving in town. She wondered if the training she had done with Spoiler and Oracle was enough. It seemed as though most Pokemon trainers carried near the maximum of six Pokemon with them. Before she nestled in for the night, she looked over at her Pokemon who had already fallen asleep. She returned them to their balls with a satisfied sigh.]

In that dream... my memories of the real Stephanie and Barbara seemed to influence my two Pokemon... or perhaps it was somewhat the other way around. Unlike the wild Pokemon people capture, these two appeared for me... perhaps their natures could sense how important my friends are to me and were drawn to me because of that.

[She looked up into the moon, and was reminded of home, when so often a second circle of light would appear in the sky.]

I will locate Team Plasma; and I will stop them if they prove to really be a threat to this world.

Batgirl then exits the gym, and while standing right outside it, opens up her communicator, but then stops herself. She puts the device away and looks out at the city for what may be the last time. She also felt around in the pouch she had just designated for money, happy that she could finally buy civilian clothes in case they were needed.

I was going to announce my victory... in order to show that I am becoming a trainer worthy of respect. But perhaps it's best if I head to Nacrene unannounced and wait for Team Plasma to act.

((Cassandra will then head to the Pokemon Center, and various shops in Striaton in order to prepare for her journey via Route 3+Wellspring cave. Not sure if anyone's still in Striaton, but if so feel free to poke Batgirl or something. XD))
