After the incident with Yuusei's new shuppet, Zone was hospitalized for a short bit, suffice to say. His mechanic arm and leg were both shattered entirely, and in the confusion, it seems, discarded and recycled as well.

Which brings us here. Seated in a hospital issue wheelchair, Zone is looking over a series of offered prosthetic limbs with a rather disgruntled expression, albeit a hidden one. "Ummmm... A... Are you sure I can't just build one?" he asks, and of course the nurses insist on otherwise. "Mnnn..."

...No offense to the nurses but these seem quite inferior to his last ones.

[As much as Yuusei scolds Crow for having too many Pokemon to keep track of, he can't admit that his Pokemon are the best behaved, either. Rally, that inquisitive little Eevee-turned-Flareon, always seems to get into everything. Veiler, that Ralts that he picked up, has yet to level up since he caught it due to it being apprehensive of actually fighting.

And then there's the Pokemon that hatched out of the egg that Iris had given out for Christmas. That one probably beat all.

He has yet to give the strangely-colored Shuppet a name because it barely stays near him enough for him to get a good look at it, always vanishing before he can actually touch it. It seems to prefer watching things from a distance, staring at everyone and everything (and scaring Zone, of course). It doesn't listen to any of his directions in battle either (shy, maybe?) but somehow seems to be leveling up anyway (was it wandering off and fighting things? Or maybe it was harrassing Veiler all this time out of sight, the little psychic type was absolutely terrified of it after all). Or at least, it was until it reached level sixteen. After that it abruptly stopped leveling up.

Oddly enough, it always seems to be low on PP for the move Spite...

Not to mention that Yuusei's had trouble sleeping for a while now. He can't really pinpoint the uneasiness, but...well, he doesn't look that good, and that's pretty surprising how good he is at actually going without sleep.]

[ Sephiroth is looking at his recently evolved Lucario with a slightly confused expression on his face as he toys with his latest badge. He's actually pretty surprised that Alexander likes him enough to have evolved. ]

It almost seems as if one would have to be actively cruel to avoid forming a bond with their Pokémon.

[ He assumes it's obvious that he's not the cuddly type... If you ignore the Emolga that insists on draping herself over his shoulder at every opportunity. ]

A foolish thing. The creatures are so much more effective when they are content, are they not?

[ It's only practical to keep them happy if they're more useful when they are. Of course he may or may not only be pretending that's the only reason he puts up with their antics. ]

[There's a bit of a buzz on the feed for a few moments, as if the user is fiddling with something. But the sound quickly clears out, and the image pans out to reveal Subaru grinning somewhat nervously at the camera.]

Ah...hi, everyone! This surge of power from that Entralink thing, it seems to have affected my Hunter VG somehow-it's working again! War-Rock and I were thinking about trying to reopen Noise Waves with it, maybe find a way back home, but we're not sure about that Entralink place...is that old man over there okay? Is it dangerous there?

Oi, oi, Subaru...

Ah, sorry... [Subaru seems to look over briefly to the side at this exchange with a sudden deep voice from off screen, and he looks back to the screen.] Anyways, since my Hunter VG is working for now, War-Rock can materialize himself again! He's very pleased about it, so he wants to introduce himself to everyone!

Yo! [And a large, blue-green alien thing pops into the camera, at least a head taller than Subaru and with a shoulder breath that easily could equal almost two of the boy's. Good thing he sounds friendly.] What's up, everyone?

[While Loki and Yuuma are off shopping for something in Black City, Subaru has elected to stay behind with Astral, if only to keep the being company while he recovered from the cave-in back in Mistralton Cave. Even so, Astral is apparently bored, and willing to follow Subaru around as he walks around Driftveil for his own errands despite relying heavily on crutches.

After a bit of worried fussing on Subaru's behalf (are you sure you haven't picked up on some of Yuuma-kun's recklessness, Astral?), he doesn't mind having the being follow him as he goes around town, asking questions about their next leg in their journey, Chargestone Cave. It's an area of particular interest for Subaru, as it's one of the many unusual landmarks of Unova that Professor Juniper was kind enough to mention, and the stories about it make Subaru wonder if it's a possible source of strong Denpa.

Of course, they're going at a slightly slower pace than normal, thanks to Astral and his crutches, so it would be easy to stop either of them for a quick chat, if one wishes.]

[Astral seems to have willingly remained outside for this battle, potentially because of the little phione he's still caring for. Either way, he's filming the entrance of the Gym, and-]

~~BROU-M!~~

[-Looks up in shock as a cloud of dirt and dust begins to drift out of the gym, Yuuma barreling out as Clay's voice can be heard.]

'Ye c'n take yer badge an' git outta my city BOY!'

H-hHHAAAAAAH!!

[The camera is shaking for a little before it's given back to Yuuma, but...]

...Yuuma. What just happened.

Ehhh... A-Apparently, using rockslide in an unground gym is a bad idea...

. . .

But look! I got the Quake Badge!!

[YUUMA, PLZ...]

[Action (Loki) / Video]

"HaaaaaHH-CH!" Astral and Subaru are lucky to not be in here, really. At the moment, it's much colder than even the winter season would be in Driftveil, and that would be because of the building that Yuuma and Loki are currently training in. "Okay Achacha... Wing Attack!" Yuuma through his typical approach of ATTACK ATTACK ATTACK, albeit with a less straight-forward one for the newest team member

Loki's emolga through that similar, less straight-forward method.

At the side, Galu seems to be levitating the camera to record their training efforts, a few of the pokemon battling the more frigidly formed inhabitants of the Cold Storage; Galu looks different though...

She's a musharna now!

[The feed doesn't seem intentional. Shizuo can be seen staring down blankly at something other than the Xtransceiver. After a while, he speaks.]

The hell is this...

[A few more moments pass before the video starts shaking and tearing sounds can be heard. Evidently, he is opening a package. A glimpse of black and white - the package contains a new bartender outfit similar to the beat up one Shizuo is still currently wearing.]

....

[When he sees what is inside, Shizuo's expression softens slightly to one of melancholy.]

The screen flickers to life as it shows Estelle in the hustle and bustle of the Driftveil Market. People pitching their items and bartering can be heard among the noises in the background. Around Estelle's head flies a cheerful looking Crobat.

"Hello everyone~ It's been quite a while since I've done my own feed around here, hasn't it~?" Estelle giggled, curtsying formally, miraculously avoiding bumping into anyone. "I'm just checking in~ I'm in Driftveil City and there's quite a lot to buy here! I'm quite impressed about the selection despite what I've heard about boats unable to leave port for a while! Perhaps they fly it in~?" Estelle mused, before her Crobat perched on her head.

"Oh yes~ It seems there are a quite a number of Pokemon that evolve by friendship~ This little dear seemed eager enough to do so before we crossed the bridge today~" Estelle commented offhand.

"Oh right everyone~ Are you properly figuring out ways to go back home~? I certainly have~" Estelle giggled, holding up a badge case with four shiny badges. "Halfway done~! I believe! I wish everyone else all the best too!"

The princess seemed content to leave the feed on for any responses at that point.
