[Iris's had a lot of time to prepare this post, as she quietly sits by the coast near Mistralton Cave, her Swoobat behind her.]
Hi! [Her cheeks look puffy - she's been crying.] So, um... Jade's gone, and I can't handle this caravan alone. So does anybody want a caravan?
Also, does anybody want to become my partner? I'm gonna need one for the final gym--
Your partner? Really?
[...What. Iris suddenly stopped, pausing and turning alert at the harsh hiss of that voice. Behind her, a black mist appeared - soon becoming the shape of a certain beast.]
Now who'd wanna ruin their life like that, kid?
[Iris is silent, as the snake-like... thing continues, laughing as it speaks.]
Aw, would you ruin them like Skyla? Or perhaps like Banjirou? Poor boy... you couldn't leave him be, could you? And you couldn't just let her gift go unnoticed, either...
Face it, Iris. While you waste time here, you've ruined so much. But on the plus side... oh wait! Ghetsis would have won by now, right?! You've probably got nowhere to return to, and nowhere to hide!

You're just a pathetic Axew, you know that? An Axew who wishes for more is still an Axew. Pathetic.
[Iris has just slunk away, as Woobat growls. The beast then looks to the camera.]
Aw, and what's though here? More humans? How pathetic. But anyway, I'm Ben. 'Sup?

[Iris is just gonna be sobbing okay?]

((OOC: Yeah, Ben is a dick. Her nightmare vision is all Ben, baby. My announcement coming soon, I promise!))

[Now, everybody knows Iris is a rather odd person. Well, she's a rather cheerful one, but she's a bit protective of her Salamence.
Why?
Well, back home... her Salamence would only listen to her. Before even noticing she's taller and male and not herself, she noticed she wasn't sleeping on top of her dragon. So, with a panic... have who looks like Loki suddenly screaming at the screen.]
Skyyyyla! Where are you? Madeline, Burgh, anybody?! What's...
[...Hey her voice is different. With a gasp, she looks back to herself.
Well. Now she's some sorta weird old guy.
With a sigh, Iris is suddenly grumpy. Are those tears, too? Yeah, she's upset and grumpy. Make sure to take pics, you'll never see this again! :D]
Great. Let me guess, Ben? [...Ben?] You thought this was funny, right?! Hey, Jade? Are you okay?!

[It's not often Iris is up at dawn. Heck, she's only up now because she's worried.]
I still don't know... maybe I'm not ready to take on Skyla?
[With her is her Archeops, Salamence and Swoobat. Her others are fast asleep.]
I mean, it's Skyla! She's the best. She saved me, you know?
[Her Pokemon nodded - Archeops then letting out a cry.]
You're right. Let's keep on training, everybody!

[But a few minutes of training later, the reason for this post happened - because of swarm stuff. Iris was commanding Archeops to use Acrobatics, looking into the sky-- but then! She saw... something! High up there, among the clouds!

Articuno, the legendary Pokemon of the skies. Iris gasped - she'd only seen one in books! It was an ice-type, sure. But it was also legendary! Quickly, she whipped out her Xtransiever - and recorded it, flying though the sky.

But she could only see it for a few moments. She only caught a few moments of video. But she's happy.]
Come on, guys. Let's continue training - we'll head into Chargestone when Jade's awake.
[She's left her feed on, guys, as she's continued training.]

[ITT: A deeper look at Iris and her fears. Also not Kirby. Though Kirby: Nightmare in Dreamland was my first Kirby game! More fun facts about me!

For Iris, dreams are a kind of new experience. In her world, they'd been robbed from most by the man with the legendary, in his efforts to destroy their spirits without destroying them whole. However, she has had a few dreams. Of home... for her, she thinks dreams are just a way to see the path home.

So. For her, she thinks she is walking down the streets of Opelucid, her Pokemon safely in their Pokeballs. Her gym team - not the Pokemon she grew close to. They'd be waiting, right? That is, if she hadn't gotten home.

But something feels wrong. For Opelucid - the Black version... there were no lights. No signs of life - of the future. It was completly blacked out - exactly how it shouldn't be. Okay, Iris is a little scared.

The only sound is her footsteps, and the flapping of a Salamences wings. Looking at the ground, it looks like it's been ripped up. How? Perhaps by an underground Pokemon.

She wasn't even talking to Skyla. Something felt wrong here.

Weakly, she let out a call. For anybody.]

U-Uncle Drayden?
Lili? Blake?
[...]
...Anybody? Skyla, can you see anybody?

[The Samamence let out a grunt, and flapped her wings a few times - before taking off. She's gonna look for people.

Iris didn't want to be alone, though. Alone meant that she could be destroyed easier. Sure, she had Skyla's other Pokemon... but that was a sign of her failures. She ruined everything for the one who saved her, after all. But she was strong. She couldn't cry in a situation like this. She had to keep strong, for that girl. The one she saw in those other dreams, the ones of home. The person who might be the future hero of her world...

However, Iris doesn't notice the shadow following her, silently hovering off the ground. The strange, unknown-to-most Pokemon... Blazikas. (Seen here in a less creepy place.)

Note that, yes, Iris thinks this is real, just like her canon update dreams.

Of course, if you want to enter this dream, you can have just... appeared near to her. Or just in the blacked out, dead-feeling city in general.]

[Hello, world! Today, you're getting a video of Iris - still on Route Six. She's waiting for Jade - hopefully, they didn't miss each other! Iris seems cheerful as usual.]

So! There's been a heap of Audino around - has anybody else seen that? Scyther and Leavanny too - back in my world, these Pokemon were rare - or didn't even appear here! It's pretty weird.

Anyway, Skyla evolved, too! Look at her! [See? It's a Shelgon. Iris is riding her.] I can't wait until she's just like my Salamence at home! [Except for the whole situation surrounding her.] Snivy evolved too - I found a Snivy here! Those aren't usually wild at all... weird, huh?

Also, does anybody want a Drilbur? It was my capture for Mistralton Cave... but I can't stand them. [Because backstory.] I wouldn't be a good trainer for him... he's free to a good home!

[Action]

[At this point, the Xtransiever is flicked on - by the crew following. Archeops and Bagon.]
[Audio]
...Well, I've been training since I became a human. And because I grew up like I did, I knew about the Challenge first-hand - so I knew we had to train extra hard. If I didn't, it'd be like handing over the world to the man with the legendary!!
The man with the legendary - right. Is he here?
No. I haven't seen him, and I'm glad.
[A long pause, as Iris ponders something.]
...You know... I didn't listen to my Pokemon back then. We didn't have time, after all. A trainer could roll up with a Joltik or a Tynamo or a Blitzle, and then I'd have to say goodbye to everybody. It always hurts to say goodbye to a friend...
[There's a silence between the two parties. Swoobat then speaks, quietly.]
...You won't need to say goodbye again, Miss Iris. I promise you.
[More silence. Up in the air, Iris is clinging to Swoobat a bit, as they continue to soar across the skies. Iris then started to speak again, clearly trying to hold back the tears.]
You know? This world is a lot safer then home. But I've still failed Skyla - I promised her I'd fix her, n-no matter what. A-and now I c-can't...
[And now crying. She can't hold it back. She's just so... so scared. But then she gulps, and stops herself from crying.]
Listen, Swoobat. While we're flying... can we fly around the region? I wanna see the differences in this universe.
...Sure, Miss Iris! Sure!

((OOC: Purple is Swoobat, btw. She'll pretty much be up in the air for the whole event.))

[So, on the network today... a crying girl. No, seriously.]

S-sob... has anybody seen a Salamence? She's about this tall - [she said, reaching one of her hands above her head,] - and she only listens to me, and she's really blue and strong! She's my best friend, and if she's gone... sniff... then I would have let him win!

[And then a pause, as she wipes her nose. A few seconds later, she turns off the feed.

Only to turn it back on when she's more composed, a few minutes later.]
By the way! I'm the gym leader of Mistralton City - well, for now, anyhow! [Well, not one at all in this world. But. Whatever.] My name's Iris, and if I had my team right now, I'd be in the air looking for her - Salamence, I mean. She's also really cute! So, if you see her, let me know - okay?

Also, umm... [...] do any of you want to come with me? I know my way around a city or two, but not much of the world! [Okay, off the feed goes.]
