What a wonderfully sunny day isn't it? Jack and his travel partner Colette seem to be somewhere in the Desert resort, in a rare moment outside the sandstorm. As to what they're doing...

"Stouuuuu...." The stoutland visible on screen gives a loud chuff of contentment, while the bird demon works away on her fur.

"Oii, hold still so I don't miss anything!" He's doing something with the fur, but... What?

From the side he seems to grab something, before pulling the long strands through it. The X-Transceiver- which is evidently being played around with by Jack's new Sandile- shifts.

Ah-!

They're braiding the fur!

 "rrAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!"

The video feed you're watching was trained on what appeared to be a small hole in a pile of sand blocking the window of an old ruin. It's likely being held by Ryuzaki's axew actually.

In fact there's little other option as that roar tears through the air, and the sand seems to be exploding outward, forced aside by...

By...

Some sort of bizarre black scaled/spiked thing crawls out from the tunnel, shaking itself from sand with a snort. It quickly shrinks back into none other than Ryuzaki however..! ...Somehow his clothes weren't harmed much. "Phew!" he laughs, grabbing the camera as he releases a few of his pokemon. "That was fun..!~"

[[Note to the others- Responses of course, will come from Astral.]]

It was a strange feeling, sand passing through him. As an incorporeal being of course, technically he couldn't feel it at all of course. But he could see the sand come toward him and not stop, as it did when it blew over the others.

Subaru already had his poncho from the store on- in addition, his pokemon were either within their pokeballs or kept in check by Yuuma's own. Travelling along Route 4 had been the easy part, where the road had been relatively safe to traverse.

Now, however, they were in the Desert Resort- and reaching the building known as 'Relic Castle' would be easier said than done. Vicious winds blew sand around until it was impossible to see more than a few feet before them- And any single mound of it could be mistaken for the land that the ruinous building sat upon.

"Subaru," he called out, voice somehow still overpowered by the howling winds. Behind him, the pokemon were each doing their part to shield the other from the harsh winds- though Muzumuzu was relatively unaffected even he had troubles, a fact that had the psychic of the group doing her best to at least shield them from the worst, the tiny Kuribolt barely avoiding a fate of being blown away while Achacha acted as a wall. "Subaru," he repeated, looking to the boy. "How are you faring..??"

Okay, right, it beeped, so... Bumi, tell me if this thing is working!

[The Xtransceiver camera shifts wildly, first showing Toph's face then re-focusing on the long snout of an Excadrill. It squints at the screen and sniffs it, giving an excellent view of moley nostrils, before the camera shifts again as its pulled away from the Excradill's claws. The screen is momentarily taken up by pointy teeth; apparently the Xtransceiver is tied around an Aerodactyl's neck and the Aerodactyl is attempting to find an angle from which it can look at the screen, also. The scene finally steadies as Toph returns and holds onto either side of the device.]

Stop wiggling, Rocky, I need you to hold this thing. So it's on? Uh, it's recording? [Off-screen, the Excadrill grunts. In its expert opinion, yes; the weird human device is working. Flat screens and writing: Poor, blind Toph's arch-enemies!] Sweet. Alright! Hello again people! Um, Toph here. I am kind of still in the desert, ha... Oh, check it out! I am like the master of sandbending now. [Toph backs away from the camera and makes a quick, sharp motion with her hand, then twists her heel into the ground. A small pillar of sand shoots up then sculpts itself into a perfect double of Toph, right down to the pose. When Toph moves, sand!Toph mirrors her exactly.] Ta-da! Sand clone! Kind of cool. I dunno, practical? Not really. [Sand!Toph collapses to the ground listlessly as its living counterpart readdresses the Xtransceiver.]

Anyway... I just remembered that this bracelet Xtransceiver thing can talk to you guys. I'm getting pretty bored of the desert now, so, uh... Stocking, are you out there? Sorry for not trying to find you earlier, hope you're okay and everything. I guess I should probably head back to Nimbasa City now, huh? Alright, let's... see if we can turn this thing off now... [She approaches the Xtransceiver and tilts it side to side, poking randomly at the screen. After a few attempts, the transmission goes black.]

Well... this is certainly new.

[So says the scruffy Xatu currently being broadcasted to all your Xtransceivers. He's standing away from the screen; his own Xtransceiver is being held by a Pokemon with more capable hands: his Kirlia (though his Elgyem can also be heard babbling frantically in the background).]

... Yup. Definitely new. [He ruffles his feathers and blinks a few times before closing his left eye with a bit of a flinch.] Just brimming with... newness. Oh, this is fascinating...

[He turns to the Xtransceiver and cocks his head to one side.] Had the strangest feeling this morning-- like something was... just a bit off. Ever get that feeling? Was a bit like regenerating-- scary thought, that-- but not quite. I've been a lot of things, but a bird? That's new! [A small laugh that sounds vaguely like a squawk.]

I mean... Blimey, look at me! I've got wings! [He tries to spread his wings, but the tie caught around him prevents him. He plucks at the cloth with his beak, then looks up again.] And a beak! [A sort of frown here. Is this some cosmic joke about his nose? It better not be. He goes back to plucking at the tie, and suddenly notices something.]

Is that--? Ohh. [He's trying to examine his plumage, which is undoubtedly--] Ginger! I'm finally ginger! [Beat.] ... Well. Kind of ginger. Well. Close enough to ginger. Well. Scarlet. [He ruffles his feathers again, and goes back to struggling with the tie.]

Blasted thing... [Help a Time Lord out? Apparently, his Pokemon are a bit too stunned (or, in his Kirlia's case, entertained) by the change to help him out themselves. He sighs.] Well, while I get myself out of this little predicament... How are the rest of you feeling? I really doubt I'm the only one.

[Yes, it is the first here in Australia. So have an eventpost from me.

Dragonite had never made a post on the network herself.

Why would she need to? How would she even do technology? Who knows or cares.

...

No, that hasn't changed today.

But then, you may ask - what is this post? It's action only, that's what.

You see, it's the first. Part two of the event has started - and of course Dragonite has noticed. The first thing she noticed was the damn sand, from outside that strange haunted castle place. It was blowing against her again. But this time - it felt different. Like it was hitting more. Dragonite stood - and then she felt it. Her wings. Her bulky body. Her tail - but most of all her wings.

She was back to normal. Letting out a roar, she suddenly sped into the sky, before darting back down - hovering over the ground.]
I'm still in this world, [she said to herself, before grinning,] but I don't care.

[Seems she's back to roaring out her words. Why not? She's excited.
Oddly enough, Dragonite was starting to like this world. Why? Because it was... calm. She could relax.

But she's not speeding off. No, she's curious. If she was back to normal, what happened to everybody else? Where was Natural? Or Paprika? Hm, if they were still 'normal', would they be able to communicate with her? Who knows.

For the others in this bad situation, Dragonite is just hovering around the sand. Also she's making sure she can still use all her attacks. So, if you're not careful, you may be in the path of a speeding dragon [ExtremeSpeed], a dragon slamming the sand with water [Aqua Tail], or punching at the air with thunder [...ThunderPunch]. Don't worry - she won't be using Outrage. Yet.]
