Okay, right, it beeped, so... Bumi, tell me if this thing is working!

[The Xtransceiver camera shifts wildly, first showing Toph's face then re-focusing on the long snout of an Excadrill. It squints at the screen and sniffs it, giving an excellent view of moley nostrils, before the camera shifts again as its pulled away from the Excradill's claws. The screen is momentarily taken up by pointy teeth; apparently the Xtransceiver is tied around an Aerodactyl's neck and the Aerodactyl is attempting to find an angle from which it can look at the screen, also. The scene finally steadies as Toph returns and holds onto either side of the device.]

Stop wiggling, Rocky, I need you to hold this thing. So it's on? Uh, it's recording? [Off-screen, the Excadrill grunts. In its expert opinion, yes; the weird human device is working. Flat screens and writing: Poor, blind Toph's arch-enemies!] Sweet. Alright! Hello again people! Um, Toph here. I am kind of still in the desert, ha... Oh, check it out! I am like the master of sandbending now. [Toph backs away from the camera and makes a quick, sharp motion with her hand, then twists her heel into the ground. A small pillar of sand shoots up then sculpts itself into a perfect double of Toph, right down to the pose. When Toph moves, sand!Toph mirrors her exactly.] Ta-da! Sand clone! Kind of cool. I dunno, practical? Not really. [Sand!Toph collapses to the ground listlessly as its living counterpart readdresses the Xtransceiver.]

Anyway... I just remembered that this bracelet Xtransceiver thing can talk to you guys. I'm getting pretty bored of the desert now, so, uh... Stocking, are you out there? Sorry for not trying to find you earlier, hope you're okay and everything. I guess I should probably head back to Nimbasa City now, huh? Alright, let's... see if we can turn this thing off now... [She approaches the Xtransceiver and tilts it side to side, poking randomly at the screen. After a few attempts, the transmission goes black.]

Uhh, hi? Is this thing working now? [The face of a young girl, around thirteen years old, appears on the Xtransceiver screen for a brief moment before the camera starts to shift about randomly. She's turning the thing around in her hands, poking at it in inspection. Finally it settles on one image: the upper half of the girl's face, upside-down. Her pale green eyes seem to indicate that she's blind.] It went beep soo... I guess that might mean it's working. Yeah, I'm supposed to talk to people with this thing? So... what's up, uh, people! [She gives a hesitant grin which immediately turns into a scowl.] This is really dumb.

Okay, assuming this isn't just a bracelet -- [She lowers her voice to a grumble briefly] -- and it better not be or that old guy by the tree is so gonna get it... If this thing actually talks to people... Hey! What's going on!? I'm on an island, I think, and there's this little animal following me around? He acts kinda like a badgermole, but he's way too small and I think he can see. So that's weird.

[She frowns and shakes the Xtransceiver roughly.] Hellooo? Oh, come on! This is so stupid. [The camera shifts quickly as the girl plops down on the ground. She crosses her arms over her knees and gives an exasperated sigh.] I can't believe I'm talking to a bracelet. Things made more sense before talking to that old guy.
