EVENT - Action for Striaton

It's another day in Striaton City - all seems normal.
Except for one bitty little thing.
Near the garden, in a quite central location, it seems that a whole stage was constructed. Perhaps something is happening? (Yes, yes it is.) There's also flyers... a speech is happening at noon.
So, now it's noon. Hopefully, there's a nice crowd around - though, to a few of our characters, there's something familiar about this. Not to any of the NPCs, though. There's some weirdoes in knight-like clothes... yes, Team Plasma has appeared!
After a few moments, suddenly, a man appears! Well, he walks onto the stage. With a clear, loud voice - he started to speak.
"My name is Ghetsis. I am here representing Team Plasma. Today, ladies and gentlemen, I would like to talk to you about Pokémon liberation."
The NPCs in the crowd started to speak - and perhaps you player characters, too? I don't even know. I don't control them.
One of them spoke up, curiously. "What is that?"
"I'm sure most of you believe that we humans and Pokémon are partners that have come to live together because we want and need each other. However... Is that really the truth? Have you ever considered that perhaps we humans... only assume that this is the truth?" that man continued, as he paced, speaking so strongly. So convinced. A few more of the NPCs spoke between each other, a little nervous.
"Pokémon are subject to the selfish commands of Trainers... They get pushed around when they are our 'partners' at work... Can anyone say with confidence that there is no truth in what I'm saying?"
More murmuring. A few people nodded a little, some turned to their Pokemon to ask them if they were okay with them. Ghetsis paused for a while, to allow his words to set in - perhaps, now, if you were to look - you'd notice a Bisharp watching the crowd. Secretly, it's his - to protect him, see. Team Plasma, you see, has been watching the network. They know there may be people after them - and so they have protection.
"Now, ladies and gentlemen, Pokémon are different from humans. They are living beings that contain unknown potential. They are living beings from whom we humans have much to learn. Tell me, what is our responsibility toward these wonderful beings called Pokémon?"
And then, one of them spoke up. "Is it... liberation?"
"That's right! We must liberate the Pokémon! Then, and only then, will humans and Pokémon truly be equals. Everyone, I end my words here today by imploring you to consider the relationship between people and Pokémon... and the correct way to proceed.
We sincerely appreciate your attention."
And, with that, they started to pack up. Within a few moments, they're gone, leaving only the stage behind. It'll be gone soon, hopefully.
As is the crowd - it's disperced as well, people chatting among themselves over what happened. Of course, you could try and follow the men who were on the stage, or that one who was speaking... but, that Bisharp still seems to be watching. It could... no, would be dangerous.
((Yeah, this is the event post, feel free to mingle and junk around this. I'm glad almost everybody was in the same location, it made my job a lot easier! Some OOC info will be coming soon about both the rest of this event and next month's event, which is connected to this one - there will be Munna swarms, starting tomorrow. But, for now, event junk.
(: ))
