[Hello, world! Today, you're getting a video of Iris - still on Route Six. She's waiting for Jade - hopefully, they didn't miss each other! Iris seems cheerful as usual.]

So! There's been a heap of Audino around - has anybody else seen that? Scyther and Leavanny too - back in my world, these Pokemon were rare - or didn't even appear here! It's pretty weird.

Anyway, Skyla evolved, too! Look at her! [See? It's a Shelgon. Iris is riding her.] I can't wait until she's just like my Salamence at home! [Except for the whole situation surrounding her.] Snivy evolved too - I found a Snivy here! Those aren't usually wild at all... weird, huh?

Also, does anybody want a Drilbur? It was my capture for Mistralton Cave... but I can't stand them. [Because backstory.] I wouldn't be a good trainer for him... he's free to a good home!

While the girl stops short, the Growlithe keeps running and occupies himself by sniffing at this funny wannabe-dragon that Iris is sitting on.] Whew, I was almost afraid that I missed you! [And she has got her arms open for a hug because hugs are the best!]

[Hugs? Iris loves hugs! She leaped off of her Shelgon and into the hugs! While Shelgon held out a single claw/paw to hold back the pup.]
Me too - these routes are bigger then I remembered!

But I guess I used to fly all over them, instead of walking.

[Huuuugs! Jade gives the best hugs, even if they are slightly rib-crushing. Only a little! Becquerel, meanwhile, is undeterred by this claw holding him back and has every intention of trying to find a way around it.]

Yeah...things are pretty different from above, aren't they? [Admittedly, she thinks of her island first—the sight of it from her observatory had been so different from when she wandered it. That's kind of similar! Jade gets a little more serious quickly, though.] So, you said you wanted to talk. Talk to me!

[Jade frowns. Yeah, she knows that feeling—it's really nice here, but her friends... And whatever the Challenge is, it doesn't sound very nice.]
And it wasn't even really up to you, though, was it? Showing up here...

Yeah - if it was part of the plan, Uncle Alder would have told me that I was gonna end up being beamed to another world! Geeze... it would have been nice to be warned.

Yeah - the plan to make this cycle the last. [Iris is being open not only because this is a pal - maybe, if they can travel between worlds, she could also get help from whatever weird world Jade is from! :p I think HomestuckVille is busy, Iris. That's what the place where Homestuck takes place is called, right?
She took a deep breath, and leaned back on Shelgon. This is gonna be a bit of talking. Also spoilers, but whatever.] You see, there's this bad man - Ghetsis. He's got this Pokemon called Jirachi keeping him in some sort of time loop - which Uncle Alder dubbed cycles - and about 1000 of these cycles ago, Uncle Alder got trapped too when he tried to stop Ghetsis from taking over the world again, and he thinks this cycle is the one which'll end it, and save the multiverse - or whatever he said was collapsing. [Yeah, no pressure, Cecilia!] He said everything's been tuned for success - even the trainer set up to take him down, when they've proven themselves.
It's kinda complicated, and I don't know all the details. Only the Elite Four know that - and Aunt Cynthia, of course!
But we've all gotta work together - that man has Jirachi right now, and she can grant any wish. I dunno how he does it, but he's been keeping her awake for longer then the seven days she normally stays awake. Unlike Giratina, Jirachi won't botch a wish and screw everything up - so we've all gotta stick to the plan, or we could be erased from existance.

So! I think he'd tell me if the plan was screwed up by me leaving. [Though Iris doesn't trust the plan (she doesn't think that it's moving fast enough and stuff) - she's got her own plans, as well.] Got it?

[Homestuckville, yes, absolutely.

Jade listens intently to Iris's explanation, but it looks like she's absorbing most of this information. She pauses for just a short couple of seconds as Iris finishes but she nods slowly.] Yes—yes, I think so. The cycles are making the 'multiverse' collapse? And your family are trying to stop it. Were? Except—you know, this happened. [She gestures vaguely, but she means SPONTANEOUS TRANSPORTATION.]

Well, they're not my real family - I adopted them after they saved my life - I'm just glad they're okay with it. But, yeah, that's basically it! [She kind of calls all of the gym leaders/elite four part of her family.
how awkward will it be if i ever write stuff between her and bitty grimsley???

Oh, and there's also these two people from out of our 'universe' place - they're some sort of multiverse police, making sure this cycle'll be the last - no matter what. It's pretty serious, if we lose, then everybody'll die. [So much stress.] And the trainer who's destined to fight Ghetsis? They decided to be stupid and took up the Nuzlocke Challenge! [the what] So, I don't even know if she'll get to the end without losing her team!

Shouldn't that still count, though? I mean, a family's a family! [Nnnnot that she would really know from experience BUT HEY.]

...Oh. [Yeah that's really bad!!] She could really lose her whole team like that? [Casually pretending she knows what Iris means. That's a scary thought, though—Jade's only been around for a few months and thinking about losing the little team that she has is really kind of terrifying!]
