Player Plot - Jouney Through Desert Resort [Locked to Subaru & Emmet]
[[Note to the others- Responses of course, will come from Astral.]]
It was a strange feeling, sand passing through him. As an incorporeal being of course, technically he couldn't feel it at all of course. But he could see the sand come toward him and not stop, as it did when it blew over the others.
Subaru already had his poncho from the store on- in addition, his pokemon were either within their pokeballs or kept in check by Yuuma's own. Travelling along Route 4 had been the easy part, where the road had been relatively safe to traverse.
Now, however, they were in the Desert Resort- and reaching the building known as 'Relic Castle' would be easier said than done. Vicious winds blew sand around until it was impossible to see more than a few feet before them- And any single mound of it could be mistaken for the land that the ruinous building sat upon.
"Subaru," he called out, voice somehow still overpowered by the howling winds. Behind him, the pokemon were each doing their part to shield the other from the harsh winds- though Muzumuzu was relatively unaffected even he had troubles, a fact that had the psychic of the group doing her best to at least shield them from the worst, the tiny Kuribolt barely avoiding a fate of being blown away while Achacha acted as a wall. "Subaru," he repeated, looking to the boy. "How are you faring..??"

Looking further down the tunnel, he nods again. "In that case, let us continue."
TIME SKIP GOOOO
[And then roughly a week passes, and they're in Basement 5. During which Astral has likely discovered that Subaru has an irrational fear of Ghost Pokemon, and that Subaru's own Pokemon are actually extremely under-leveled for the later floors. They've had to resort to hiding behind Yuuma's own Pokemon team and taking potshots (which doesn't please Leo and Rocky at all, but since Subaru has no Revives...). It's been a trying few days. But this place...]
This room...it's so open...you don't think?
WHOOO!
Regardless, the spirit nods, floating around the comparatively enormous expanse they've fallen into- Had it not been for the piles of loose sand, they likely would have been killed by the sudden impact. "It is," he says after a moment. "The fact that it is still here in fact, would imply that there are greater supports in these rooms... Ah-" From his high position he spots something in the distance, pointing. "There is a doorway at the top of this mound. Follow me," he adds, the pokemon quickly doing so.

"This... ...This room is entirely disconnected from the floors above..." It's the only reason this could possibly be, after all. And it's incredible...

[Subaru looks around with his own Visualizer, War-Rock and his own Pokemon doing the same. Can they sense anything?]
DOUBLE BATTLE TIME.

A-AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! [By now, Astral is probably familiar with the fact that Subaru does not like ghosts. It's probably a good thing that he doesn't know what type Lampent is.]
no subject
"Quick!" he orders, the Lampent and Kuribolt both stepping in. "Scary Face! Will-o-Wisp! Follow with Punishment and Hex..!"
"ZOOOOOO!!!" "LAMP!!!" As the pokemon get to work the Copharigus are briefly caught off guard, leaving a window for attack from the others- perhaps in a one on one this would be impossible, but surely not a swarm...!

Geograph, Psybeam! Zutz, Confuse Ray!
MAZE TIME OHBOY.
"Muzumuzu!" Astral orders once again. "HEX!"
"LAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMP..!!" In a wave of darkness the spirits are forced back- slammed against the wall and retreating into their coffins.
"We should be able to pass now," Astral noted, looking around uneasily. "Let's go."
joy
[And dusting himself off now, even as Leo and Rocky come to steady him. They go through the passageway...]
I have a map.
"Ahh..."
M-Maze...

[Looking through with his Visualizer now, even.]

"...Ah-"

[Trying to get a good look himself...]

"There are runes decorating this side- and only this side of the ceiling," he shouts down, floating near the door to the left of where they came in. "Quite likely this is the doorway we're meant to use!"
no subject
[And then they follow Astral's lead...]

As he examines the third room however, something seems to shift from the shadows of the room...

Subaru! Something's over there! [Ah, looks like War-Rock knows what Rocky's feeling. Since they have similar temperaments, it's inevitable...]
What?
no subject
"Rammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm..."
"Ah- Rampardos..!!" How much reading did you do Astral!?
Regardless he's right- and the Rampardos is not alone; at each side of it come a Bastiodon, and Yuuma's pokemon immediately prepare for battle.
"Quick!" he orders- "Foul Play! Hypnosis! Hex..!!"
no subject
Zutz, Confuse Ray! Leo, Spark! Rocky, Force Palm! Aim for that Ramparados' legs!
Bastiodon One; half health + atk, Ramparados; 2/3s + confused, Bastiodon 2; Sleeping, 3/4 health
"Kuribolt- Punishment!"
The Bastiodon- strengthened by his iron defense- quickly found itself battered back by the wave of darkness sent forward. However, it did not falter in his charge.
Galu however, made certain the charge did not connect. "MUN..!"
"Galu- use dream eater on the other one! Achacha, Featherdance!"
no subject
Geograph! Use Whirlwind to try and slow them down! Zutz, try to confuse the other one, quickly!
Rampardos- 1/2 health
"Good!" shouted Astral, turning toward the others. "Now- get the second Bastiodon before it wakes up! Galu, Dream Eater... And Muzumuzu, Hex!"
The ghost type cackled as he took the order, Galu as well gaining an odd look in her eyes- between a wave of mist and a wave of darkness the pokemon seemed to slip into a deeper slumber, before the attention was turned to the final remaining pokemon.
"Now... Go! Foul Play, and Quick Attack..!"
