[The video starts up in a bit of a Cloverfield-esque fashion, the frame rattling and swerving erratically. It seems one of the Doctor's Pokemon has gotten a hold of his Xtransceiver, judging by the soft babbling sounds and the way the screen tilts at random. However, the actual video itself doesn't seem very random; the focus is definitely on the Doctor... an uncharacteristically glum-looking Doctor, in fact. He's at Nimbasa's amusement park, as the colorful background and lights indicate, but instead of enjoying the sights, he's... sitting on a bench, watching everyone else with a very sullen, almost forlorn, look on his face.

The holder of the Xtransceiver calls out-- something like "chiko, chikorii"-- and the Doctor looks up. After a moment of silence, he chuckles lightly and offers a smile.]

Ah, c'mere. [The holder babbles happily and waddles over to her trainer's lap. She's a Chikorita, as the Xtransceiver shows in the next moment, when the Doctor takes the device from her.]

Sorry 'bout that. Newbies. [He pats the Chikorita's head with one hand and uses the other to comb through his hair. He sighs heavily and puts on a grin.] Well, might as well while I'm here... Newbies, yes! Got a pair of Grass-types now. They're rather fascinating-- this one's got vines-- prehensile vines! [Like Bulbasaur!] Bit like a Death Tree, that! Though, ah. Much less... bloodthirsty. And the other... [He readjusts the Xtransceiver to show a Roselia standing at his feet.] Look, she's got roses for hands! Isn't that brilliant?

Thought I'd call her Rose, but... That's too obvious, isn't it? Besides, she doesn't act quite like a Rose. More of a Susan. Ah, and the Chikorita-- I think that's what the 'dex called her-- I've been calling her Jenny. Those are good names, yeah? Susan and Jenny. [The Xtransceiver focuses on him again, just as the sullen frown returns. But it's gone in a second.]

Well! Just a bit of an update there! [He glances around.] Been in Nimbasa for a while... Very nice place, really, but... Might be about time to get a move on, yeah?

Though... Before I do, I have got to try out that brilliant ferris wheel they've got here! Turns out they don't let you on unless you've got a "partner". And Pokemon apparently don't count. How 'bout it, then? Anyone that's still around want to give it a go?

Miror B. paced along the edge of a campsite tucked away in the trees of Lostlorn Forest. He lacked his usual rhythm, and appeared to be deep in a rather annoying line of thought. A Combusken followed behind him, occasionally stopping to glare off into the woods and raise his claws menacingly whenever a Pidove or other equally harmless woodland creature made a noise. This wasn't helping Miror's mood. He rolled his eyes at the overeager Pokemon and turned randomly back towards the tents, leaving Combusken scrambling to catch up.

Kidnapping Paprika had been a stroke of genius, he thought, grinning a bit as he remembered his increasingly amusing conversations with N. Treating her like a guest rather than a hostage had been laziness. He didn't have to keep her locked up or extend any energy to prevent escapes; all he had to do was lie, which was as easy as breathing, really. The problem was, he realized as he stood tapping his foot impatiently near his tent; the problem was, no one was taking him seriously! N was taking far, far too long to comply, and why shouldn't he? Paprika was doing fine. There was no hurry.

Well, then! Today would be the day. Today he'd make sure everyone knew he was oh-so-serious. Putting his hands on his hips, he smiled deviously and called out: "Paprika! Get over here. Resix, you, too."

[The feed starts up and you can see an Oshawott holding the camera up to himself and do a little bow, presenting himself thusly as the cameraman. Then the feed swivels around and pans to Hilda holding a little box, tied nicely up with a cute holiday-themed ribbon.]

Oh, you'll be my cameraman, Oscar? That's good, then. This moment should be immortalized. It's my first present this year, after all!

[She grins at the camera. There's something to be said about getting excited over presents when finding herself in a parallel version of her own world, but what else can one do? Nimbasa, in the background, is already decorated in holiday cheer, and it's very contagious. It's better not to think too much about it… She'll find away to get back to her Pokemon - her very best friends - soon enough.] Let's see, maybe it's from Cheren? Nah, it's too cute. But it's too early to be Bianca's, she always shops last-minute with me… But anyway.

[She opens the box and it's a Pokéball! She can't contain her glee. That's absolutely the best present ever! Just who could have been so thoughtful? She tosses the box aside unceremoniously and throws the Pokéball, only to reveal…]

Zekrom?! It's you?! I can't believe it--

[She stands in awe of the legendary Pokémon who once recognized her as a hero, but… Something seems the littlest bit off.

If you were to look closely, you could see… that the Pokémon looks like this:]

Uh, did something… happen to you? Somehow, you feel a little different. Weren't you kind of bigger before?

[She looks back towards her little cameraman, and the feed jumps up a little as he shrugs helplessly at her.]
