Vlog of a Champion: Sentiments

[A click and soon the champion was on screen again. The hard wind blowing in the background. She is seen sitting under a rock formation, her gible taking a nap right next to her]

Uhm...well okay me again. Not really sure what to do next since...

[A sigh.]

I haven't been out in the field in the longest time, and by out in the field, I mean I haven't acted like a normal trainer. You know catching pokemon, training them from scratch, collecting badges...It's just...not me anymore. I've been way up there for so long I don't remember how it feels starting from the bottom and now I don't really know what to do with myself.

[The champion shrugs off her coat and places it around her as more of a blanket as she pulled the sleeping pokemon onto her lap]

These gym leaders...they're all my friends and yet. I don't know...

[soon enough, the wind takes speed and the champion is forced to tie her hair up]

If anyone's out there, this is a rare moment of weakness for me.

Sephiroth has chosen Route 16 for his training. It is very early in the morning and the sun has not come up yet.

Along with the ever present Masamune he is carrying a normal sized practice sword.

He picks an open area without any camping trainers nearby to stop. His supplies and the Masamune are set aside and he goes through several katas with the practice sword.

Apparently satisfied with the weapon he moves on to letting Fair out of his Poké ball.

"I am going to block and dodge. You will try to hit me until you succeed or I tell you to stop," he commanded.

The Absol hesitated.

"I can take the hit," Sephiroth assured. Not that he actually expected to be hit.

The Pokémon tentatively complied... and stopped being so tentative a few minutes later when it had yet to get a hit. It was quite winded when Sephiroth called for it to stop a half an hour later. Even weakened the activity didn't strain the man much if at all.

"We'll rest for a while and then you can try again," Sephiroth said simply.
