Fourth Card - Clothes Make the Trainer

 It's been a strange few 'days' for the past bit thanks to all that dreaming, but Yuuma is happy to wake up fully refreshed and ready to get a move on. So maybe his back's a little stiff from sleeping under a tree on Route 3 but...

"Phaaaaaaaaa... Those were weird dreams..." Nonetheless, pushing on! He's wearing NEW clothes now! Though his jacket will be tied around his waist due to the weather of course. But hey! Wearing a decent t-shirt and jeans...

And shoes!

Those are kind of important.

A trilling sound comes from his side- the pokemon have woke up too, and they seem about ready to pack up themselves. "Ah- hah! You guys didn't have weird dreams too right..?"

"...Admittedly, I am considering that..."

"Eh?"

Eventually, Yuuma HAS to realize that he left his X-Transceiver feed rolling.

Hey! It's your partner! (i'll tag with grimsley another time.) Shinta's also wearing different clothes - at least, until he can get a tailor to make him more uniforms.
He's walking next to Yuuma, his Minun still riding on his head. "Ah, I don't remember much about those odd dreams."

Perhaps he was busy dreaming of his own nightmares.

"Ah- Well..." He laughed. "I can't remember the details of any of them, but I think I met some new people at least..." Yes.

Yes he did. In any case. "You slept alright though neh?" Astral nods after a moment- which gets a confused look to 'fuzzy air' from Yuuma. The pokemon as well give nods after a moment..

Well except the litwick. Who merely grins. Oooooohboy.

With a sharp nod, Shinta gave a small smile. "At least we can move on now."
He was sort-of curious to what he'd see next, after all. You might notice he is adjusting his gloves.
"It's a bit of a pity, though. Now I'm going to need to work on my morning workouts twice as hard - it feels like I missed a lot!"
No, not really.

"Eh? You have a morning workout??"

"Of course! I get up at dawn, to stretch and keep fit. All of us Ouendan did it, back home.

...Unless we had stayed up for days. Then, we took the morning to sleep."

"Wowwww..." Cool...

"So... Does that mean you should do your workout now then..?"

[He might realize that it's on when a few noises of shock start coming out of the device on his arm.

You see, Subaru was quite confused to end up in Accumula Town's Pokemon Center instead of Nuvema Town, like he was hoping. He was hoping to see if there was a navigation or map function on the XTranseiver. But the navigation screen is smaller than what he's used to with the Hunter's navigation screen, and so he presses the wrong button, and...]

"Eh? What's this...?"

Eh? Oh! Hey! I've never met you before..!

"Uueh?" [Oh, a person. Oops.] "Sorry, I'm a little new with this device...I was kind of trying to pull up a map. I didn't interrupt anything, did I?

[Well, at least he's polite.]

Nahhh, I just woke up..! [Most wouldn't be so happy after that..!]

Oh- So you're new here then? You didn't get caught in that dream stuff did you? [Yuuma, what makes you so sure you weren't the only one..!?]

"Dreams, huh? I guess that's what it was. People kept telling me it was their own memories..."

[And a thoughtful expression appears on his face.]

"Well... It felt more like a dream to me..." Dreams ARE memories you- ohhh well...

"If you say so." [There's a mild smile on his face, but otherwise he looks rather neutral about it.]

"Ah- but that's not important..! I'm Yuuma Tsukumo! How about you?"

[ryuusei_subaru]

"Oh-I'm Hoshikawa Subaru." [And then a thoughtful expression crosses his face for a few moments before it's replaced by a look of shock.]

"Eh? Are you the Yuuma-kun that Astral-san was talking about?"

"Ah- You met Astral..!?"

That answers it.

I'm used to weird dreams.

[ A pause. ]

But mine were weirder than usual.

[ Madotsuki laughs; it's nervous and rather quiet but it's a laugh anyway. ]
