fourth flight - Nightmares in Dream World
[ITT: A deeper look at Iris and her fears. Also not Kirby. Though Kirby: Nightmare in Dreamland was my first Kirby game! More fun facts about me!
For Iris, dreams are a kind of new experience. In her world, they'd been robbed from most by the man with the legendary, in his efforts to destroy their spirits without destroying them whole. However, she has had a few dreams. Of home... for her, she thinks dreams are just a way to see the path home.
So. For her, she thinks she is walking down the streets of Opelucid, her Pokemon safely in their Pokeballs. Her gym team - not the Pokemon she grew close to. They'd be waiting, right? That is, if she hadn't gotten home.
But something feels wrong. For Opelucid - the Black version... there were no lights. No signs of life - of the future. It was completly blacked out - exactly how it shouldn't be. Okay, Iris is a little scared.
The only sound is her footsteps, and the flapping of a Salamences wings. Looking at the ground, it looks like it's been ripped up. How? Perhaps by an underground Pokemon.

She wasn't even talking to Skyla. Something felt wrong here.
Weakly, she let out a call. For anybody.]
U-Uncle Drayden?
Lili? Blake?
[...]
...Anybody? Skyla, can you see anybody?
[The Samamence let out a grunt, and flapped her wings a few times - before taking off. She's gonna look for people.
Iris didn't want to be alone, though. Alone meant that she could be destroyed easier. Sure, she had Skyla's other Pokemon... but that was a sign of her failures. She ruined everything for the one who saved her, after all. But she was strong. She couldn't cry in a situation like this. She had to keep strong, for that girl. The one she saw in those other dreams, the ones of home. The person who might be the future hero of her world...
However, Iris doesn't notice the shadow following her, silently hovering off the ground. The strange, unknown-to-most Pokemon... Blazikas. (Seen here in a less creepy place.)
Note that, yes, Iris thinks this is real, just like her canon update dreams.
Of course, if you want to enter this dream, you can have just... appeared near to her. Or just in the blacked out, dead-feeling city in general.]

That is, other than the girl he abruptly notices standing not too far from him.]
... Iris? [But something else catches his attention the next moment: the strange shadow hovering behind Iris. N can only stare in confusion, trying to determine what exactly it is. A Pokemon? Reluctantly, he begins to follow the pair.]

The child of that man.
He was different, right? Yeah, right. It's not like Iris isn't sure of him. She's never unsure! Yeah... taking a step towards him, Iris spoke up, meekly.]
Why are you here?
[She asked. Yes, you get more questions then Yuuma. Don't ask why. Or do. She's still in the mindset this is home, after all.
But before she can speak more, there's suddenly a roar. Blazikas is ready to let everybody know it's there. Iris then shouted to N, without really thinking why --] We've gotta go! I don't see that... thing's trainer! [Why is she protecting him? She doesn't know. But she suddenly lets out a Swanna, and sends it over Ns way. Why, of course she's taking the Salamence.]
no subject
I-- don't know. [Why is she asking him? She's the dreamer, isn't she?
But he doesn't voice those questions. When the Swanna flies over toward him, he reaches out for it. He senses the danger Blazikas poses and is prepared to flee, but he stays for a moment longer to stare in awe. Just... what was it? He tears his gaze away to look at Iris.] Ah-- Where will we go?
no subject
[Okay, so there's a name. What does Hawes have to do with this??? Or Kurusu. Or Mew.
...Of course, if they were to fly, they would be limited. They can't leave this dead land...]
no subject
Not having much other choice, he climbs onto the Swanna's back, prepared for flight. He looks just briefly back at Blazikas again, though.] Is it a Pokemon?
no subject
But, the skies seem to be changing, covered in a purple mist, the buildings rising forevermore. Iris doesn't seem to notice this, either. Another memory, another part of this nightmare? Perhaps.]
no subject
He looks out at the skies as they ascend, trying and failing to make sense of the mist and the buildings. Were they not moving, or were those buildings just... really tall? At the same time, the mist is making him nervous. He calls out to Iris:] The mist-- What is that?
