Sephiroth had been in denial for far too long. But his recent Gym challenge forced him to accept it. His Pokémon surpassed him in strength and that frustrated him. Extremely.

Something in this place had taken a great deal of his power away. He resented that.

It was unclear even to him whether he was just lashing out at his surroundings or trying to regain power.

Trees were felled by his sword, their remains burned by Fire.(good thing the area tends to be damp) Lightning and Ice were thrown at anything within range. He was tiring much more quickly than was right. But that only made him angrier and his attacks more ferocious.

If anyone saw him they'd probably think he'd gone mad but, he didn't care. He wasn't going to stop unless he was forced.

[ He's likely to attack anyone that gets in his way to try to stop him but, he'll have enough restraint to not go for a kill. And if found after he wears himself out he'll be collapsed next to a bunch of fallen trees with his sword still in his hand and his wing out and half covering him. ]

Normally I look quite different! [Eshshshshshs!] I'm not used to being as underpowered as this against other pokemon... Particularly not when I normally am one!

[More chuckling, ahhhh...] Shapeshifting is second nature to me, but I haven't been able to do a thing since I got here. It's rather troublesome.

I would imagine that regardless of any physical change, the change of setting is just as bad. This world is at least vaguely familiar to me after all.

No, but it does bring a certain comfort regardless. The world of origin would have to be quite the hell for there to be a complete lack of homesickness, I must say.

[ Okay, not entirely relevant. He'll blame being exhausted for that. And he may actually let himself sleep any minute now. ]
