Sephiroth had been in denial for far too long. But his recent Gym challenge forced him to accept it. His Pokémon surpassed him in strength and that frustrated him. Extremely.

Something in this place had taken a great deal of his power away. He resented that.

It was unclear even to him whether he was just lashing out at his surroundings or trying to regain power.

Trees were felled by his sword, their remains burned by Fire.(good thing the area tends to be damp) Lightning and Ice were thrown at anything within range. He was tiring much more quickly than was right. But that only made him angrier and his attacks more ferocious.

If anyone saw him they'd probably think he'd gone mad but, he didn't care. He wasn't going to stop unless he was forced.

[ He's likely to attack anyone that gets in his way to try to stop him but, he'll have enough restraint to not go for a kill. And if found after he wears himself out he'll be collapsed next to a bunch of fallen trees with his sword still in his hand and his wing out and half covering him. ]

[ No reply. Just the sound of a tree being cut and flames as he sets if on fire before it even finishes falling. If he noticed his Xtransciever is on he doesn't show it. ]

[ Sephiroth jerks in the middle of slicing another tree resulting in his sword getting momentarily lodged in the trunk. This only makes him pause long enough to look at who was responsible. Then he dislodges his sword and goes right back to destroying shit. He'll probably exhaust himself pretty soon. ]

[ CRACKBANG. If you didn't know trees could explode when hit with electricity, you do now. There are splinters everywhere. And yet when he speaks there is no emotion in his voice. ]

[ Some of the debris is frozen in chunks of Ice for a change of pace. ]

[ Okay that covers more than the reason he's currently being destructive but, it's accurate enough. And he's in the air again. An unfortunate tree has its branches quickly removed one by one before he splits the trunk. ]

[ His step falters slightly but, he keeps going. The Fire used to burn the nearest debris is noticeably weaker than that used before. It only makes him angry. He should not be tiring already. Wouldn't be if he was on his home world. ]

[ It takes him some noticeable effort to fell the next tree. He knows he's pretty much reached his limit but, out of stubbornness, he still attempts to set it on fire. The flames aren't quite strong enough to easily burn the fresh tree at this point. Will there be another attempt to get it to burn properly? The way he's glaring at it suggests there might. ]

[ He's not sure this world really deserves his hate or that wouldn't have crossed his mind. But right now he's having some trouble staying conscious so, he's not going to say anything further on the subject... and yet he still tries to get the tree to burn. So stubborn. He won't be standing for much longer even if he stops now. ]

[ And burning his energy at least dulled his frustration. He tilts his head back to stare blankly at the sky. He's not ready to let himself fall asleep even though he is clearly exhausted. ]

I would imagine that regardless of any physical change, the change of setting is just as bad. This world is at least vaguely familiar to me after all.
