[ Well... there's fire. Kind of looks like a lot. Or the camera is just close to a little. Hard to say really. The Xtransceiver has clearly been either dropped or thrown aside.

Sephiroth can be seen approaching a somewhat badly burned Riolu. And he's walking straight through flames to do so. Something glowing faintly green can be seen in his right hand. ]

Hold still.

[ Yeah Sephiroth. Like that's going to work. You are NOT a comforting individual. Of course the Pokémon is going to attempt to flee despite its injuries... which are bad enough that it just kind of falls over. It's still trying though. Sephiroth grumbles something under his breath, considers for a moment and then throws a Poké ball with his left hand. The Poké ball shakes several times before clicking shut.

The feed is turned off when Sephiroth comes to retrieve his discarded items. He has no comment on finding that the thing was broadcasting.

And several hours later it starts up again. The fire has been put out and thankfully it is only a small portion of trees that were burned. ]

It has been an interesting day for me. Obviously.

I suspect it may be the result of a side effect from whatever happened to the Entralink.

[ What's a side effect? No one knows you use fire while training with your Pokémon sometimes. Oh well. He's not going to elaborate unless someone asks. ]

[ By the time he replies he's busy checking on the burned Pokémon. He'll just divide his attention between talking and carefully applying another Burn Heal to the uneasy looking Riolu. It was pretty badly burned before but, seems just singed now. ]

I am uninjured.

Oh, that's a relief!

[Yes, this random stranger looks overjoyed that you aren't hurt. Strange, isn't he?]

I saw the fire and I was afraid you got caught in it!

[ He knows the video caught him walking right into the middle of it but, not going to comment on that. ]

This Pokémon seems to be the only one injured in the blaze.

[ The Riolu looks mostly okay now. It's just kinda eying Sephiroth nervously though. ]

It looks like you're taking good care of it, though!

It's called a Riolu. I inadvertently started that fire so, it's a bit scared of me.

[ Not that the fire is the only cause of the fear. His Emolga was the only one that wasn't at least bit wary of him at first. ]

[This kid is... not the best with sensing danger unless you're giving him a slasher grin to his face. Which is not the best luck for him.]

Oh, that makes sense. I'm sure she -- he? -- understands you didn't mean it now, though.

Perhaps. They are quite a bit more intelligent than any animal in my world.

[ It may realize he's not going to hurt it but, it still looks very uncomfortable. Since he's done seeing to its injuries he'll let it wander around the area if it wants and let out his Absol to keep it company. ]

Fair, keep an eye on him.

[ The Riolu edges away and goes to plop down next to a nearby rock with the Absol taking a space nearby. They start conversing in Poké speak but, hell if anyone knows what they're talking about. ]

[Hell if he knows. He can read instincts, not Pokespeak, and that's just because he's part dragon.]

Yeah, I noticed that from Jou! It's kind of funny.

[There's a cheerful Deino! from under the camera.]

[ They might be talking about him since the Riolu keeps looking over and sounds like it's questioning. ]

There is much to learn about them.

[At "here" he shows the area around him. It looks like a hospital room, but if that's so, he's probably a bit worse off than he actually looks.]

Ah, that's a relief to know! Though I hadn't really expected to -- I was sort of hoping this place didn't have crazy insane split personalities with magic items.

I have not heard of such things existing here at present. However, there is no telling what the Entralink will drag in at a later time.

[ He's not really one to ignore unpleasant possibilities just to be comforting. ]
