united_one | [ACTION] Seventh Shooting Star - Guess who's finally being active again, oops

[While Loki and Yuuma are off shopping for something in Black City, Subaru has elected to stay behind with Astral, if only to keep the being company while he recovered from the cave-in back in Mistralton Cave. Even so, Astral is apparently bored, and willing to follow Subaru around as he walks around Driftveil for his own errands despite relying heavily on crutches.

After a bit of worried fussing on Subaru's behalf (are you sure you haven't picked up on some of Yuuma-kun's recklessness, Astral?), he doesn't mind having the being follow him as he goes around town, asking questions about their next leg in their journey, Chargestone Cave. It's an area of particular interest for Subaru, as it's one of the many unusual landmarks of Unova that Professor Juniper was kind enough to mention, and the stories about it make Subaru wonder if it's a possible source of strong Denpa.

Of course, they're going at a slightly slower pace than normal, thanks to Astral and his crutches, so it would be easy to stop either of them for a quick chat, if one wishes.]

Eh? Oh, a visor! That looks like it would be a good compromise for a hat, Astral, your hair wouldn't get in its way, and it would block off your face from the sun...

...Did you get that from the girls' section, Astral?

That's generally what clothes makers do, Astral, they put gems and shiny things on clothing meant for girls...it's supposed to appeal to them, or something. That's what Misora-chan and the Class President always said, anyway...

Well, just because it's made for girls doesn't mean you can't wear it, Astral. It does match you, so I don't think anyone will really ask.

It might be! You're starting to pick up more possessions of your own now that you're solid, so it might be better for Yuuma-kun if you do...you could carry the stuff for Oto-chan, too, since you've been the one mostly taking care of it...

"Mnn." He nods, taking a rather case-like bag from the side. "This one then..."

He glances down at his boots.

"...It is likely wise to invest in proper footwear..."

Ah, right. Sneakers are a good fit for hot days, Astral. I would normally suggest sandals, but we do a lot of travelling, so that's no good...

"Not to mention, we are nearing the city 'Iccirus' correct? It is typically quite cool there regardless."

Un. So they would work well in both seasons, see? Pick sturdy types that can last a long time, okay?

Most sneakers are fairly sturdy, Astral. They're meant for a lot of physical activity, after all...

...To Subaru, it probably looks like he's staring off at all of them.

[He does wonder if Astral knows what he's looking for, anyway. Either way, Astral's the one wearing the clothes, not him, so...]

Mmm, those should be okay. Why don't you take these into the dressing room and try them on-ah, did you need help?

Looking back down at his broken leg now...

It's only an issue with the one leg really- once that leg is through the panthole for either part of the outfit it's smooth sailing- which translates to 'okay Subaru you can let me handle it now'. It's a little awkward with the wet suit on the broken leg- thank arceus for zippered pant-legs.

But otherwise he soon comes out on crutches looking like a blue version of a standard trainer. Interesting!
