"HrrrrrAAAAH-!" Thor seems to be having a grand old time at the Dreamyard right now- and there's not much surprise as to why. Alongside his own mareep's training, he seems to have found a way to work on his own fighting!

...Namely by duking it out either against the concrete pillars in the area, or the trees. "Hahaha!!" Speaking of, one of those pillars just fell. "Even with the strangeness of the air here my strength has not left me!"

Wow Thor, enough pride?

['Video' - Afterward]

[There's nothing on the screen but static, and what little video appears will show that it is dark, or at least blurred enough that you can't see much more than blobs of colour. But you can hear what sounds like heavy breathing- either of the worried or despairing sort.]

And then suddenly it occurs to him that Loki does not have triumph, guilt... Nothing he would even begin to expect on his face.

It is... "...Brother... Why do you look at me so..?"

No, Loki doesn't have any of that on his face - instead, he's backing away, hand dropping the tie as though it were a hot coal in his hand, eyes wide. Finding it hard to breathe.

Blue. Thor had just gone blue. Just as he had. This...

"I... I didn't mean for this."

Hadn't been what he'd expected. At all.

"Sorry, I- I'm sorry. I-"

And then he's not just backing away, he's trying to run, which doesn't work so well at first since his legs seem to have turned to lead. But out. Anywhere.

Anywhere but here.

"Didn't mean for what..?" What is he talking about now..??

He reaches out- "What are you so-"

Blue.

Eyes snap to his arms as he looks himself over and now it's his legs that feel like they've turned to solid lead. "What..." Blue, blue, blue, and with a jolt it feels like all the warmth he's been ignoring isn't so easy to ignore and... He looks back to Loki. "...What is this.."

Loki is already gone by now, although you might get a glance of Thor (the Emolga) racing to catch up with him, shouting in pokespeak for his trainer to slow down, and what's going on, anyway?

Amane is finally allowed to move, although she does so hesitantly, only taking one or two steps toward her travel companion.

"Th- Thor-san...?" Slipping back into the old honorifics of her earlier childhood. "Are you... are you okay? Wh- what just happened there?"

She isn't making the connection between blue and Jotun because it didn't work that way int the myths, and she... didn't read American comics.

He falls to his knees. "It... Cannot..."

It's strange- Thor the 'thunderer', whose voice matched the title, speaking so quietly. Looking back with what could even be called fear in his eyes. There is no strength to put up a mask. The shock is too great.

"...How can this..."

And now for some more angst.

She falteringly goes up to him, struck by how similar the situation is right now to when she first arrived in her own pokemon world - her mother had broken down as well. She steeled herself, and knelt near to him.


"Thor-san? It's going to be all right, okay? I... I don't know what just happened, or how to make it better, but it's going to be all right..."

She shakes her head - this answers as much as it doesn't.

"I know that name, but Papa never said anything about you being like that in the stories he told me... It doesn't change anything though, does it?"

The little girl has no clue of the cultural ramifications of this.

I don't even think cultural implications/ramifications are hitting him right now. ;n;

"Nn... My father is of Asgard..." He trembles. "My mother, also... Of Asgard... So then what does this make me..?"

She isn't sure what to say. She'd always known who she was, and she'd always known who both of her parents were - the only thing she could relate with was the sudden breaking away from a brother.

So, she shrugs, albeit awkwardly.

"Mama always told me you are what you eat. Maybe it was a lot of blueberries?"

Headshaking. Lots and lots of headshaking. "No- I know what this is, it is jotun skin but I..."

He holds his head- gripping it tight, eyes shut- "...Why would they hide this..? My brother, even he... He didn't want me to take my lock out ever..." Everyone 'knew'.

Except... Him, as it seemed.

She bites her lip. "Loki-san said something like that, didn't he?" She shook her head. Nothing about the brothers made a whole lot of sense, and she had the feeling that looking into it right now wouldn't be such a great idea.

"But that wasn't the same Loki, was it? He didn't recognise your hair braid. It can't have been, right?"

That isn't quite the point he was making, Amane...

He's more upset that they didn't tell him sghshg- Family relations doesn't even occur ;;u;;

"No... ...But he knew what this-" he gestures to himself- "Meant... Why would my family hide such a thing..? I know..." He ducks his head once again. "I know that Asgard and Jotunheim's relations are strained... But why would they not tell me..?"

"I don't know... maybe they didn't want to see you upset? People always hide things from each other because of that. Like Mama, when... But it doesn't make them bad people."
