Pinwheel Rescue Team!? [Audio - eventually action for somebody]

[This had been a bad idea from the start.

Grimsley had stormed into the Pinwheel Forest, angry at losing to Lenora a few times. It'd just be a bit of training, right? Well, it had been... until that darn Shiny Sewaddle broke his Xtransiever and lost the map. He ended up catching it, but that's not the point. The point is, he's lost.

And that damn Murkrow - it didn't help! No, it got him even more lost! Why the hell would it do that?

And then it vanished - all his Pokemon vanished, except for his new Sewaddle and his Deino. And even they're tired!

The worst part, though? He swears he's going in circles - he can't see an exit from these trees. That's because of Zoroark, but whatever.

With a sigh, he started to talk to his Xtransiever, because at least that still works.]

Hello? This is Grimsley. I... I'm in Pinwheel, and I'm doing better then most of you. [Lie number one.] I caught another shiny. And--

--What the heck is that?! Is that... me?!

[You can't see it, but Zoroark has approached to troll - disguised as the older Grimsley. Of course, she can't speak - but she can still laugh. The phone signal is bad, of course - so you can't hear what happens next. Grimsley tries to attack his older self, like the brat he is.

About 10 minutes later, though... Grimsley's speaking again. He sounds a little scared.]

This forest is deadly. I should have just gone back to Black City. Is anybody out there? I want to go back home. [He's crying. Another snarl comes from behind him - Zoroark's still there, taunting him.

Yuuma's been in Nacrene for a little while now- he was actually there in time to see Grimsley go after the Gym Challenge even. But sitting at the cafe there for something to eat to hear THIS over the audio...

"O-Oi... G-Grimsley? Grimsley, can you hear me..!?"

"...You." Grimsley still dislikes Yuuma irrationally. But he could help. "Yes... yes, I can hear you."

"Hey... Where are you??"

"I... I don't know. Somewhere in Pinwheel."
He is lost, after all. With a sigh, he closes his eyes. Even if you can't see that. "What do you want?"

"Well... You sound like you need help..!!"

He's not going to say he needs help, mind you. He's too prod for that.

"Ah! Maybe we can help then..!" ...We?

Suddenly, a bit of static/silence. A moment later, though, he can be heard again.
"broken."

Yuuma just freezes at that, sharing a wide eyed glance with Astral, the pokemon, and anyone else nearby. "Er...

"Well, keep talking alright?? We're gonna come find you!" Who is this WE you speak of!?

Grimsley sounds a bit angry. Gosh.

Meanwhile, Shinta has been listening in.
"Will we get going straight away, Yuuma-san?"

"Of course..! He could be in real big trouble right now..!" Er...

"Ah- You don't have to come if you don't want..!"

"It's my job to help! Osu!" That's true. Grabbing his Pokeballs, he gave a bit of a bow. "I'll help the best I can!"

Grimsley is linefacing right now, listening to these two.

"Definitely! Ready you guys?"

The pokemon certainly are- a chorus of 'zo's and 'wikis' fill the air with a short 'gey' and 'mun'! "Yosh! To the forest!"

To the Pinwheel Forest music, too. Shinta always has that radio on. Behind him, his newly-evolved Furret is carrying Hayato.

"Who is this man in trouble, anyway?" Shinta asked.

[Audio]

... I can hear you.

[And he's not quite sure how to react. His own Zoroark, curled up beside him, can hear the other on Grimsley's end of the Xtransceiver. She's bristling, and displaying something of a dark grin. N is silent as he looks at her, but he continues eventually.] Hm. Your attempt at sounding superior is unconvincing, Grimsley.

[Grimsley let out a growl when he heard N. That man... he hated that man, ever since they first met.]
I am superior.
[He said, with a bit of a huff. The other Zoroark, though, let out another snarl - a pleased one. She liked N.]

You're lying. [Thank you, King Obvious. He sighs.] Did I not warn you that if you continued to mistreat them, your Pokemon would leave you? They can also rebel. You've angered them, so your situation is your own fault.

It is unwise to lie to a person that may be able to help you. [His Zoroark can be heard giving a short growl, but she silences quickly.]

[Audio] YOU GET TO SEE ONE OF MY NEW ICONS. JOY.

[Grimsley's quiet for a little. And then, he just tsks.] They... they didn't leave me. [Zoroark, however, just lets out a laugh behind him.] They all left! They're all around the forest! Just like they should be!
And besides. I-I don't need your help, N.

[Audio] VERY NICE YES GOOD

I doubt that. [In response to both of Grimsley's statements. As he hears Zoroark's taunt, he again feels conflicted. Of course he believes Grimsley deserves the situation he's in, and he's glad to hear the Pokemon have decided to rebel. Still... he hates that he feels so satisfied with it. It's disgusting, to wish violence on anything.]

You're lost. If you wish to find your way out, perhaps you should make an attempt at apologizing-- offer to repent for your foolish actions. There is a chance the Pokemon will be merciful to you.

[Audio]

[Grimsley lets out a scoff.] They... they're the wrong ones! They're the ones who ran off - if they get hurt, nobody'll help them!

[Audio]

Do you really believe that? They are in their natural habitat, amongst their wild kin. They can handle themselves. You, however-- a spoiled child of a human... You are alone.

[That's all he can sputter out, he always has to disagree. Zoroark then let out another huge laugh. You are so fail, Grimsley.]
