Hal blinked in the sunlight. He'd wanted to do this indoors, but the camera he was using didn't work so well in low light.

His Sandile and trusty lab assistant, Doctor, trained the camera on him, and Hal cleared his throat. What did his grandpa always say...? "Behold!" he yelled, then cringed. Too loud. Now people were looking at him.

But wasn't that what he wanted?

He stared at the ground, muttered "I made a new Pokemon out of my Porygon," and released a Porygon-Z from its Pokeball.

"Professor?" Hal repeated. "What professor? What does he study? Is it Pokemon?"

He could have read the newspapers, listened to the radio, or watched TV during his stay in Nimbasa. But none of those things were the Internet. So he hadn't.

"Professor Juniper," Naoto replied, the fact that Hal had assumed the professor to be male not sliding past him. It seemed like Hal's world was similar to the one Naoto had come from. "She studies the origins of Pokemon, or so I have heard."

Hal widened his eyes. "Really?" It hadn't occurred to him that someone else might be studying Pokemon, an actual adult. He guessed the resources he'd been studying from had to have been written by someone. "Where does she live?"

"Yes," Naoto replied, smiling a bit. It was good to see children so interested in science. Usually they would much rather fool around. "She resides in Nuvema Town."

Hal deflated. "Aw, that's..."

Then he remembered that that was the one other place he could warp. "Awesome!"

He wasn't actually going to talk to this professor person, of course. He was just a kid. But maybe he could ask someone in Numeva Town about what she was doing...?
