[Hello, Unova! Here on the video feed today is Jade Harley—only she's sporting a brand-new pair of dog ears and a fancy new outfit. There's an awkward, nervous-looking smile on her face and her Growlithe is running circles around her feet.]

Hehe, hey everybody! So...that dream I had wasn't completely a dream. [Her ears twitch, almost to emphasize this. When you wake up with the same extra appendages you were dreaming about having, you know there's something going on!] Hehe, that sure was one informative nap! I guess a lot has happened back where I came from. Everything is going to be just fine, though! Something is telling me tha—woof! [And immediately she clamps a hand over her mouth because oh god did that just happen.] ...I can't really control the woofs.

And check this out! [A wild diversion from the woofing problem appears! She adjusts the Xtransiever to show an empty Pokéball floating—yes, floating—between her hands. Slowly, she pulls her hands apart and the Pokéball actually grows in size as she does. She quickly has it back to normal size, though, and back in her bag.] Hehe, it's harder to do than it was in my...er, kind-of dream. Still!

[She looks very thoughtful about this for a moment.] I don't know! Nothing that Bec has said sounds like anything except barking. And I can't really control the woofs. They just happen!

I don't know! I think that they might be worth thinking about more, though. Sometimes dreams have lots of significance!

Hehe, yes, that's definitely what happened. The whole dream was actually just Power Rangers in Kansas!

...They do that mergey thing in Power Rangers, right? Wait, hehehe, I think I messed that up.

[From his Pokemon Center bed, N watched the post with a smile that grows more and more fascinated as Jade continues. He doesn't recognize her (though he's spoken with her once over text before), but decides to address her anyway.]
They look a bit like Mightyena ears. And you sound somewhat like one as well. [Which is apparently a compliment, judging by the fond way he says it.] Though I don't believe Mightyena possess psychic abilities like those you displayed.

How strange... And you believe your dream to be the cause of these changes?

[Okay wait, which one is the Mightyena. She's not a hundred percent sure how to feel about this but it sounded nice enough so she'll just roll with it!] Hehe, thank you! Oh, umm, that thing was kind of something else entirely. My dog did something like that when he was still my dog!

They have to be related! I went to sleep without them, but they were there in my dream, and now I have them even after I woke up! That means my dream must have been important. Dreams usually are!

Dog? [Oh, wait! He thinks he's heard Paprika describe such a creature before. He smiles.] Did he really? He must be a talented dog, then!

[He nods briefly, agreeing with the statement that dreams are important.] Interesting. My hypothesis was that the Munna and Musharna were the cause of the dream-sharing, but... I don't believe they have the ability to bring visions of the subconscious to reality. Unless... they are a projection? [He pauses, bringing a hand to his chin. This requires serious thought, apparently.] You feel them as if they are actual appendages, though?

He was! The most talented dog I ever knew. [She smiles fondly and for a moment she kind of has this far-off, nostalgic look in her eyes. Once N starts speaking again, though, she snaps back to attention. The word 'projection' visibly pings her, and her ears even twitch a little.] That describes it really well! I think that's what my dream was.

Yeah! There's no way they can't be. [They twitch a little at this, too.] They move and I can feel them and everything.

[His smile fades.] "Was"...? [She could mean just that the dog was still back in her home world, out of reach, but... somehow he thinks it's a bit more than that.]

I see. It's fascinating-- I've never known a Munna or Musharna that was able to create such realistic projections outside of the Dream World... [And she seemed to gain a new power from it as well. N is almost jealous.] No such thing happened to anyone else that I'm aware of, either.

...Yeah. [She looks away when he picks that up.] There were some...shenanigans, I guess. Weird stuff. He did something to protect me, and what I needed to do for all of my friends kind of...mmm. [She shakes her head. It's all very weird to explain, because how does she even begin with the mechanics of Sburb and the prototyping her sprites and...] It's—it's okay, though! Because even though he wasn't really there anymore, he saved my life. It was something that I saw in my dream, too. And my ears and my powers, those were from him, too. He was a good dog! My best friend! [She's starting to get really emotional, though, but she goes to adjust her glasses in an attempt to subtly disguise her need to get something out of her eye. Really! She may not be actually crying but she doesn't even want her eyes feeling like she's about to start.]

Hmm. You can't think of any reason for any of this, huh? [Quickly back to her usual self, she props her head up on her hand and tries to think. Now she's really curious about the root of all this, too!] Would having a Munna to look at help? I caught one a little while ago!

[N of course doesn't know exactly what Jade means to describe, and he tilts his head, looking vaguely surprised and a bit concerned as she speaks. Once she's finished though, he smiles just slightly, sympathetically.] I'm sorry. He sounds like he was a very good friend to you. [He supposes the dog sacrificed himself for her. He can't imagine how distraught he would be if one of his Pokemon did the same for him. However, he does recall meeting Pokemon that tried to do so, and received no emotional response like the one Jade is giving.] I'm glad you remember him fondly.

[He sighs and shakes his head.] Unless what you saw was not a dream and rather occurred in reality. [At the offer, he smiles. He can't pass up a chance at meeting a new Pokemon friend!] Perhaps!
