FINALLY THE EVENT

WELCOME TO THE RELIC CASTLE

I shall be your guide and snarky narrator - replying to most comments with a bit of humour - acting as your Game Master for this adventure though this castle. The goal? To explore and find the Dark Stone. There are seven stories, and you will need to get to the bottom. Please note that if we don't wrap this up by Halloween, the Pokemonfication event will still be happening.

How this is gonna work? There's gonna be comments down there. When somebody solves the floor, then the next floor will go up. Simple? I sure hope so!

OOPS I'M A GOOD READER YUP I misread darkness floor as floor 3

[Sometime after her little Troll Culture 101 session with Eridan, Paprika completely misses all the Krookodile action (which is probably for the best) and strolls right on down to floor three. Looking around, she realizes that maybe running off from your group of far more competent people to chat up one alien kid who turns out to not even be friends with the other one wasn't the smartest idea. So she'll just sit here and wait. Yeah.]

[Oh, good. Someone else made it to this floor. Miror B. strides toward Paprika, flashing what he intended to be a friendly grin. She seems oh-so-perfect for his purposes, probably one of those outsiders who didn't even know the word Pokemon before they got here. Yes, she'll do very nicely.] Hey, girl. You look a bit lost! Don't tell me you're looking for the stone, too, hmm?

[Excuse her as she gapes in awe at the most majestic afro in the history of forever.]

Stone? Uh, am I supposed to be?

[Someone probably should have read the memo a bit better.]

[This is rich!] Well, yes, that's why they drug us in here, darling! ...Did you come here by yourself, then? [He lowers his shades a little -- yes, they must be worn even underground -- to examine Paprika a bit better.]

[identity profile] noplaidshirt.livejournal.com 2011-10-27 02:25 am (UTC)(link)
Huh-uh. I was with this British guy, Thomas, and this kinda hippie-ish kid who's just named N, and then this chick that we kinda keep calling Dragonite because she used to be a Pokemon or something.

[What could the harm possibly be in telling some fabulous stranger about her travel buddies?]

That's a pretty sweet 'fro, by the way.

[identity profile] pokeball-afro.livejournal.com 2011-10-27 02:39 am (UTC)(link)
...I see! [That was a completely unexpected bit of windfall. Scratch the "convince a random passerby to leap into the darkness of the next floor so me and my lackey don't have to" plan, this just has way more possibilities.] I know N.

[He grins broadly at the compliment. Well, hostages who admire him are all the better.] Thanks, darling, those are some nice... Tepigtails. [Somewhat snarky, that; he gestures vaguely at Paprika's hair.] Then I was right! You're lost. Oh-so-sad, separated from N and company. Perhaps you should come with me, then?

[identity profile] noplaidshirt.livejournal.com 2011-10-27 02:43 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, are you two both from Pokemon-land or something?

[She wiggles her pigtails with her hands, presumably to indicate them.]

He calls 'em Tepigtails, too.

[Without any sort of caution, Paprika shrugs amicably. What could possibly go wrong?]

Sure, man. You're looking for this Stoney-thinger, right?

[identity profile] pokeball-afro.livejournal.com 2011-10-27 02:57 am (UTC)(link)
Fuhoho! Yes! We are both from Pokemon-land. [He glances around briefly; the room is fairly well lit, and it's clear N isn't here hiding somewhere.]

Yes. [He waves his hand and walks over towards the collapsed staircase, beckoning Paprika to follow.] I am looking for the stone thingy. But these stairs to the next floor are out and I haven't felt like leaping into the abyss yet, you know? [He taps his finger on his nose in an exaggerated thinking pose.] Such a dilemma. But I have a solution! ...Do you have any Pokemon?

[identity profile] noplaidshirt.livejournal.com 2011-10-27 10:24 am (UTC)(link)
[She trots after him unquestioningly, after the point where most people would probably get a little suspicious.]

I have some, yeah, but I've got, like, no idea what to do with 'em.

[identity profile] pokeball-afro.livejournal.com 2011-10-27 07:50 pm (UTC)(link)
...Fantastic! [No chance of her thinking to call one out at the first sign of trouble, then. That is good.] Hold on just a sec, then, darling.

[Swiftly, he pulls out a Pokeball of his own and calls out a Baltoy. He points dramatically at it, grinning.] Stealth Rock, if you please! [The Baltoy glows subtly and spins, summoning in shards of glowing rocks that quickly cover the area. As the stones gather, Miror turns to Paprika and grabs her hand.] Let's go! [Without further preamble, Miror hops over the edge of the abyss, taking Paprika with him.]

[identity profile] noplaidshirt.livejournal.com 2011-10-27 07:57 pm (UTC)(link)
[Paprika was about to say something there about the whole magical Pokemon display, but getting grabbed by a campy stranger and jumped off a very high ledge tends to make you forget about those things.

Holy shiiiiiiiiiiit!

[Ah, yes, the perfect thing to shout while doing something that should probably be more dramatic.]

To the fourth floor we go!
