FINALLY THE EVENT

WELCOME TO THE RELIC CASTLE

I shall be your guide and snarky narrator - replying to most comments with a bit of humour - acting as your Game Master for this adventure though this castle. The goal? To explore and find the Dark Stone. There are seven stories, and you will need to get to the bottom. Please note that if we don't wrap this up by Halloween, the Pokemonfication event will still be happening.

How this is gonna work? There's gonna be comments down there. When somebody solves the floor, then the next floor will go up. Simple? I sure hope so!

Trotting out from the last step, Stocking took a moment to... not give a shit about the architecture as there was, as Toph had sensed beforehand, a Pokemon down here.

And it looked angry.

"Heh, this big enough for you, Earth Girl?" Stocking teased her partner, kicking off one of her shoes and pulling down her right sock.

In an instant, she warped it into the Stripe sword form.

"Ready?"

"Alright! Giant angry lizard thing!" Toph cleared the last few steps and landed solidly on the ground, entering a fighting stance. Wait, what did Stocking just do? None of what she sensed her companion do just then made any sense, but somehow she had a sword now. The Krookodile was distracting enough for her to not mention it just yet but she made a note to ask about it as soon as the dust settled. "Ready!"

"Loki let's go! Hang on tight!" Stocking called out, sending out her Gothita, who spun and immediately perched herself on Stocking's shoulder. Stocking dashed to the side, brandishing her blade and circling the Krookodile, looking for an opening.

"Uh... what was it again? Confusion!" Stocking told her Pokemon, who replied by sending a wave of psychic energy toward the opponent.

"Earth Girl! Can you trip it up or something?" Stocking called to her partner, still wary of the Krookodile.

"Right!" Toph maneuvered forward a few steps, holding her hands stiff before sharply slicing one to the side. The motion was intended to manipulate the ground directly beneath the Krookodile's feet, sliding it quickly in one direction like pulling the rug out from under him. It was somewhat of a challenge resisting the urge to pull huge chunks of rock out of the walls and hurl them at the Krookodile, but she didn't want to destroy anything that might be important.

Of course, the confusion just slides off of the Krookodile - leaving it defenseless to dodge the land moving under it, sadly. With a roar, it started to dart straight forward, towards Toph.

"Oh no you don't!" Stocking yelled, dashing along the sand and bringing her blade up to intercept the Krookodile's attack.

"...Wha?" Stocking blinked, noticing something in the Krookodile's tail.

Aah! Time for Plan B! Toph stood her ground as the Krookodile began running towards her, lowering herself into a blocking stance. She readied her fists and was about to raise the stone in front of the Krookodile so that it would run into it, but Stocking had already moved to intercept it. Toph darted to the side to seek another angle of attack.

"What is it!?" she called over to Stocking. From what she could sense, nothing confusing had happened. Toph lifted her hands, raising the top layer of sand in a broad circle around her feet. She brought her fists together sharply and compressed the sand into a sizable rock, then thrust her palm forward, flinging the rock towards the Krookodile's head.

That rock hit! And, lucky for you, the Pokemon flinched - growling as it rubbed at where the rock hit.

"There's something in it's tail!" Stocking called out, bringing back her sword as she dashed past the Krookodile and lunged for the object.

"I'm gonna take it out! Loki! Confusion! Pry that thing out!" Stocking called out, attempting to grasp whatever was stuck inside the Krookodile's tail.

And if that didn't work, Stocking's Gothita was working on pulling it out with her psychic powers.

Toph grinned as the rock made contact, but frowned at Stocking's words. "Woah, be careful, Socks!"

She thought quickly, muttered a quick apology to whoever built this place, and took a deliberate step forward, slicing her arm down in time with her heel touching the ground. Two pillars of stone shot up from the ground on either side of the Krookdile, artfully positioned to pin the Pokemon in place. She stretched her hands out, gathering up what sand remained on the stone floor to ready another rock projectile if she needed it.
