FINALLY THE EVENT

WELCOME TO THE RELIC CASTLE

I shall be your guide and snarky narrator - replying to most comments with a bit of humour - acting as your Game Master for this adventure though this castle. The goal? To explore and find the Dark Stone. There are seven stories, and you will need to get to the bottom. Please note that if we don't wrap this up by Halloween, the Pokemonfication event will still be happening.

How this is gonna work? There's gonna be comments down there. When somebody solves the floor, then the next floor will go up. Simple? I sure hope so!

[Proto Man enters, whistles a few notes, and begins coughing uncontrollably. Lungs are new for him, and doesn't know a sandstorm is not necessarily something you want to breathe.]

Hey, boss. What's the battle plan?

[Miror B. narrows his eyes as Proto Man approaches him making that horrible noise. Still, he grins when the man he thinks used to be a Cipher Peon addresses him.] Welcome to Relic Castle, Resix! It's good, isn't it? Very atmospheric. You know, sand and... wall carvings and whatever. [He furtively glances around, a somewhat paranoid motion. No one seems to be listening in. He lowers his voice a tad.]

Glad to see you're ready to go, darling. Have any trouble getting here? Good, great, fabulous -- I've got a couple Pokemon here for you. [He grins, like he's gearing up to make a joke.] They're red! Oh, no need to thank me, it was oh-so-amusing trying to color code for you. [He procures two Pokeballs from his pocket and hands them to Proto Man.] The battle plan is a bit loose. We need to get to that stone first -- it's oh-so-important to these people. Use whatever means necessary to get there first; I'm sure this place is full of traps and things, use them to your advantage. Most of these people haven't the first clue what they're doing. There are a few to watch out for in particular, though...

((OOC: Miror B. has given you a level 16 Corphish and a level 21 Growlithe. You can decide natures/movesets and everything past that!))

[Sand, traps, castles. Nothing he hasn't dealt with before. Proto Man slips the two new 'mons in his bag; he can deal with those later. He gives the area a quick survey, stopping on one of the sand pits. If he knows anything, he knows high risk meant high reward.]

Sir, I think I've found our first way to get ahead.

[Miror B. walks up next to Proto Man, peering closely at the ground. After a second, he smiles deviously.] Yes, I think you're right! [A brief, appraising glance towards his new lackey: that is a surprisingly competent observation he just made! Too competent for a Hexagon Brother? Who knows? Maybe they got smarter since the last time he saw them. It'd been a few years, after all.

Miror shrugs inwardly and taps the loose ground with the toe of his platform boot.]
Oooh, this will be unpleasant. And sandy. Oh well! After you, darling!

[Best proceed slowly. Proto Man cautiously puts one foot into the pit, and has it sucked out from underneath him. He falls flat on his back. Before he knew what happened, he's pulled fully through.

Castle- 1, Proto Man- 0]

[Miror takes a step back and sighs. That was just embarrassing. He glances side to side quickly -- if he's going to participate in something potentially un-elegant there had better not be any witnesses.

...No one seems to be looking. He takes a deep breath and steps cautiously forward, easing onto the loose sand. There! That's not so hard. Now just a little twist and -- Ah! In an unexpectedly swift motion, the sand under Miror's feet collapses, and he falls through to the second floor.]
