[The screen flickers to life, revealing a shot from a camera lying on its side. There is a Shieldon napping, just barely in frame. Items are strewn about all over the ground. There is a man sitting among the items, his face covered by a helmet. He's digging through a backpack that looks empty. He stays quiet, with the exception of an occasional whistle.]

[After a few minutes, he turns his attention towards the device.]

Hm? How long has this been on? Is anyone there?

I'm here, but I don't know how helpful that is. After all, I'm still not sure of the where or why.

Well, that's just great, isn't it? I suppose there's nothing I can do about it. What's your name, kid?

[Miror B. appears on the screen, accompanied with his signature disco background music. He looks intrigued and studies Proto Man's appearance closely.] Long enough, darling. Don't I... know you? You're one of those oh-so-stylish Cipher Peons -- one of the Hexagon Brothers, right? [He grins, quite sure that he's correct. ~~I mean SERIOUSLY THEY LOOK EXACTLY THE SAME (http://i1-news.softpedia-static.com/images/reviews/large/pokexd_002-large.jpg)~~] And you're red so you must be Resix. Fuhoho! Surely you remember me? It hasn't been that long since I ditched Cipher, after all.

[Proto Man is taken aback twice by this new transmission. Once by the sudden music, again when the man claims to know him. Mirror's explanation, however, puts him at ease. Maybe he can use this to his advantage?]

Uh, yeah, hi boss. Long time, no see.

[Oh, excellent. Not that Miror had a particularly high opinion of any of the Cipher Peons, but at least the Hexagon Brothers had shown some flair. And someone from his own world who recognizes his authority! This is just too good. He grins broadly, genuinely pleased.] Fantastic, darling; so good to see you again! Oh-so-sorry about Cipher's demise; I did try to warn all of you.

[He shakes his head.] No, no; ancient history! Welcome to Unova, the land of opportunity. Have you been here long? I've already got a new Team going and I'd just love to have you on board. I'd supply you with a few extra Pokemon of course, they were oh-so-rude to take all of ours before we got here. ...Your brothers aren't here, too, are they?

[Proto Man isn't thrilled about working for someone again, but he doesn't really have a choice. He needs the power being offered to him.]

I'd be honored to join you, sir.

[He winces at the word "brothers."]

No, sir. I'm here on my own.

Oh, that's too bad, isn't it? But don't worry about it! [Miror smiles, still amazed at his good fortune.] So where are you? Entralink? If you can stand having just your little Shieldon there for a few more days, I'll hook you up with some more Pokemon when we all get together at Relic Castle. How's that sound?

Relic Castle? I'll try to arrange for transport right away, sir.

Oh, don't worry about that. [He scowls.] The gymleaders of this place are providing transport for all of us. You should have gotten a letter about it on your Xtransceiver. [Miror doesn't seem to be pleased about this. First there was the egg deliveryman who seemed to know exactly where he was, and now the gymleaders are providing transportation! He's starting to suspect the Xtransceiver might be some kind of positioning device...]

We should all end up there at the same time anyway! In the meantime, feel free to have a look around, scope out the place. I don't know -- ride a ferris wheel in Nimbasa. [Who knows what Peons liked to do in their spare time?] But start training that Shieldon of yours, we may need to be prepared for this thing at Relic Castle.

Stocking raised an eyebrow at the newcomer, he sure was disorganized.

"You probably threw it out of the pack and it started, duh," Stocking snarked, thoroughly unamused. "Trying to figure out what's in the hospitality bag, huh? Good for you," Stocking remarked snidely, observing the helmeted man through the feed.

Stocking took a bite of the pudding she brought from the local store.

I'm glad you're enjoying it. You don't find it slightly suspicious that someone would just hand you a bag full of items? There's something to this.

[Despite this, Proto Man begins stuffing the items back in his bag.]

"You're from another world right? It's not like we came here because we wanted to, so hospitality's a given," Stocking remarked, taking another bite of her pudding.

"Unless that's not how it works where you come from, hot shot."

[He shakes his head.]

It's not common for people to be so well prepared for travelers from other universes to show up, no.

"No no no, I mean if you accidentally make it so you get a lot of guests you'd be hospitable to them, right? Well they are well prepared I guess, but as long as I can enjoy my stay here comfortably I've got no problems," Stocking elaborated.

"So thinking of exploring the place since you've got nothing to do otherwise, hot shot?"

Maybe. Why does it matter to you? We don't know each other.

[Proto Man scowled at the lady on the screen. She's clearly trying to keep tabs on him.]

"Just looking out for fellow otherworlders, I guess?" Stocking shrugged. "Also I'm bored and Earth Girl's asleep so there's no one to talk to so you'll have to do, hot shot," Stocking smirked, curling a bit of her hair.

"Unless you want me to stop?" Stocking was a bit amused.

[Oh, so she was just using him. Proto Man puts the rest of the items in his bag, mumbles something about not having to take this, and switches the Xtransceiver off.]

"Hey!" Stocking shouted, but it was no use. She might as well go back to sleep.

"Dumb men."
