Hazel can't see this ending well if she doesn't say something so, hesitating only a little, she edges between Jack and the farmhand. She fails at being properly assertive but, maybe just looking harmless and concerned will diffuse the situation.

"Um, you've been calling for a while and seem really worried. We just want to help."
