Yuuma is giving a rather excited cheer despite his surroundings to say the least. Stone, stone, and more hard jagged stone, as far as the transceiver can see.

"Victory Road sure is bigger than I thought," he laughs, scratching his cheek. "I didn't think it was possible to wind up in a cave for so long!"

"If we hadn't supplied ourselves with enough rations," Astral adds from the side, "We would have had to turn the cavern back."

"Ah- Ahehehehe... W-Well..." Yuuma coughed, waving the words off. "Well, we can't be far now right?! There's going to be light at the end of the tunnel soon! I know it!"

Victory Road... [ She kinda hopes she's not going to have any reason to go there now. ] Aren't the Elite Four still refusing challenges though?

Nope! After what happened at the tower, they convinced 'Marchal'-

Oh, I didn't know that. [ She doesn't know whether there just wasn't a big deal made of it or if she's just unobservant and she doesn't want to ask. ] You ready for it already?

I think a lot of people consider that cave part of the challenge. [ That's something she's gathered without actually asking anyway. ] How long have you been in there?

We are approaching four weeks.

[ She definitely wasn't expecting it to be that long and it shows. ]

Four weeks... Is Victory Road really that big? [ It's either that or they got lost. ]

We are carrying a caravan behind us; the travel time from end to end is thus doubled.

It takes that much longer to travel with a caravan? [ Good thing she's never in a hurry to get places or she'd rethink getting one. ]

Ah- Well, it depends right?

The pokemon we have pulling it are typically slow to walk. Adding in the weight of the caravan, the travel time increases further.

Ahhh, but if it had an engine it would go faster right?

...Most likely.

[ She's momentarily distracted by the mental image of her excitable Arcanine careening through the routes while dragging a caravan. Yep, she's gonna die. ]

...At least it's a safe pace? [ Maybe it's a good thing it doesn't have an engine. For some reason the idea of Yuuma driving makes her worry a little. ]

Aaaah! Definitely!

The closest thing to danger would be the wild pokemon in the area; given the strengths of our own however, it has served more as an opportunity to practice, than anything else.

All that stuff seems pretty adventurous anyway. [ Sounds almost like she regrets going the safer route with breeding. ]

Haha! Yea, I guess!

It certainly provides opportunity to capture other pokemon as well.

More adventurous than brushing and dressing up a giant puppy. [ She loves her big fluffy dork though. ]

...Not sure I'm gonna catch anymore Pokémon myself.

I would imagine that to be wise, if you are breeding pokemon already.

Nope, just breeding now. Got another egg earlier this week. [ She'll probably be buried in Eevee and its evolutions eventually and she won't mind a bit. ]

Really? What kind of egg?

An Eevee. I've sort of made it a goal to get one of each of its evolutions. [ She just has to research how to get a few of them. ]

Eevee is a fairly interesting pokemon, I have noticed; how many evolutions have you observed thus far?

Just Espeon so far. It was what they call a happiness evolution.

I think there are six more.

There is another 'happiness' evolution, is there not?

Hahhhhh? What's a happiness evolution..??

Yeah...

[ Okay. The subject is apparently evolutions now. Well, at least it's something she knows a bit about. For Eevee anyway. She looked up info about it after Cloud evolved. It was a surprise since she had no clue before then. ] Some Pokémon evolve when they're really attached to their trainers. Eevee can evolve into two different things that way depending on whether it's night or day. Cloud evolved during the day.
