Fourth Exorcism - The Miracle of... Eggs?

Crow seems to be looking over a small booklet of sorts, breeder card in hand. It's a fairly strange look to catch him in- he's normally grinning ridiculously, or talking to thin air, but it seems not even that is happening today.

Instead, he frowns, looking over the booklet. "Shit," he mutters, glancing at his card. "How'd I even rack up these funds..."

As he mutters this to himself, his newest pokemon- a Sigilyph and a rather gorgeous shiny archeops- huddle next to each other at the side. Crow seems only vaguely aware of this, continuing to look at the card with an almost twitching expression.

"AAaaaaaagh! What the hell do I do with this kind of cash!? i didn't have to worry about this when jack was around..."

Some noises at the side and he turns, only to gawk.

"What the-"

A little while later the camera will turn on, with an incredulous Crow holding an egg.

"It really did just 'appear', what the heck!?" BIOLOGY SHOULD NOT WORK LIKE THIS.

The old guy at the Entralink gives us money every week I think. Don't know why he doesn't stop once we figure out how to make our own money.

[ At the part about the egg she glances at some of her own Pokémon. ] I can't find anyone to explain the eggs either.

Oh-

Naw, not so much where it all came from as...

Well it just piled a lot you know? The contest prizes especially! [HOW.]

Back home I was constantly worrying about staying out of the 'red zone', [he adds almost with a grumble.]

[At any rate.] How often do these things tend to appear anyway? I was worried about keeping pokemon separated for other reasons, but last I checked these two were just cuddling!

[...He thinks. ...Darn Sigilyph.]

I guess it is more than is really needed for supplies. [ She pauses thoughtfully. ] But um, a lot of people buy TMs and stuff. They're kind of expensive and really useful if you're competing in the little cup.

[ And she's watching her own Pokémon cuddling nearby. ] I've only had it happen twice so far. I don't think they'll do anything if someone's watching closely.[ She sort of expects to find another egg relatively soon anyway. ]

'Close'. [A snort.] I'd say- Wonder if there's a record for that kind of thing.

[A bit of a sigh.] I'm doing fine with the TMs I got from the prizes... Not to mention, after what happened at the last contest, I'm taking a bit of a break.

[Ah yes. Cobalion.]

I... don't think that's going to happen again. [ Now she's uncomfortable. Maybe she's been trying not to think about having been kidnapped by a Pokémon, okay?]

Er.

[Oops.] Right.

I figured it'd be a bit better to wait a bit anyway. [Out of respect. For people like you. Yayyyy]

Haven't seen any information on when the next contest is. Wonder if it's delayed because of that incident. [ She's not mad or anything. Just feels pathetic with how little she could do about it. ]

Wouldn't be surprised. From what Yuusei mentioned about what went on, there still aren't really many answers either...

It was a confusing experience. [ She's not even sure if being able to talk to Cobalion would have helped much. ]

I'd bet.

Don't know if they'd have told us much even if they could talk to us. [Mostly talking to herself there. ] Um... [ Back to other subject now. It's less uncomfortable to talk about Pokémon eggs. ] Have you found a lot of unexpected eggs?

Nah, this is the first, [he admits.] I've been pretty careful about keeping everyone of the opposite gender away from each other, mostly since a lot of them are still babies.

Guess that's easier than watching them constantly. [ Of course she has to watch a couple of hers since she doesn't have the heart to keep them away from each other for too long. ]

Sort of I guess. [Hahaah] Still gotta watch 'm!

Yeah. [ Sort of an awkward silence. Doesn't seem like there's much else to talk about. ] Well, good luck.

[Nodding] Good luck to you too!

Hey how much are these eggs worth anyway?

Thanks. Um... I haven't tried selling any yet. [ She looks away a bit sheepishly. ] I sort of waffled and they hatched and we kind of bonded really quick.

Hah! Whatever works I guess?

Though I suppose that means I need to figure out fast... I don't think it'll help Brisote's nerves if she's got a baby around...

[Yes, beautiful as the shiny archeops is, she certainly does seem to be a rather antsy sort...]

You can store eggs in the PC boxes and they won't hatch. I just um, didn't have access when my Eevee hatched. [ The whole Dragonspiral thing. Don't need to bring up that that's why though. ] Had a Buizel egg in one for a while so, it doesn't hurt them if it's not for too long. [ Of course she has no idea what too long would be. ]
