First prayer - Action post

The lack of electricity was probably what saved Jehanne to freak completely out when she found herself in the Extralink... sudddenly able to read why? why was she able to do it? The only word she even learnt to write was her name. It was... something Ecstra-link related? Then something entered in her head? She didn't really like the idea.and suddenly surrounded by 'monsters' and 'weird things': her first impression on Unova? A really negative one. Everything was just so wrong and out of place to look almost irreal and she needed a long moment and the Extralink's man's help to accept she wasn't dreaming or having some weird hallucinations. And then? Well, when she finally calmed down she was flown to Nuvema on a giant bird... something she never expected to experience in her whole life. 

"My..." Jehanne blinked, looking at route 01 and studying a little wild rattata "he really is different from my world's rats..." It was... cute. Really cute. It was like someone picked a rat's prettiest traits and smashed them together to create a new whole different creature... how weird "Hey, Gilles..." Her cubone tilted his head, looking at her human partner "Is that the way we're supposed to go, isn't it?" Silly question, it's not like there are other roads "Cu-bonbon!" "I'm not scared, I'm just... still really confused." She pauses for a moment, looking around then walking back on the road, ignoring the scary signs of the shops and walking towards the sea: she always wanted to see it but Domrémy was too distant and when the war started... she was just too busy and worried. She'll be easily find there, praying near the water or simply walkingr around with her pokemon.

[Colette had decided to backtrack. Her traveling partner was gone and... she really didn't have anything else to do besides challenge the gym in Striaton. She wasn't exactly sure what she was looking for, honestly.

But she was wandering the route anyway when she saw a girl not too much older than herself praying near the water.

Praying. That was something Colette hadn't done in a while. She did feel a little bad for it, but the thought to do so hadn't come in a while. After a while, Colette eventually joined the other girl by the water in prayer, even if she didn't know that Jeanne was praying to someone entirely different than Colette was.]

[What a wonderful sight, another servant of god even in such a distant and alien place: Jehanne noticed Colette only when she finally finished her Hail Mary and, holding her precious pendant tightly, finally opened her eyes again and- well, smiled crossing her hands and looking at the other girl without daring to interrupt her prayers and just... waiting for her to be done.]

[It was a short while before Colette finished her prayers, and when she did, she looked over and smiled at the other girl.]

Cu-bone! [The first at greeting the girl was jehanne's pokemon, waving its paw and... well, smiling? Anyway, she seems to understand him, even if it's probably... just in her head, that's whty she nods happily... somehow approving 'his words']

Well, if they're bad lines to start a conversation with, Colette doesn't seem to have a problem with them. She just nods her head enthusiastically.]

[Then it's like her: the extralink man told her there were others from other worlds but he even added it wouldn't be easy, with the current problems (whatever they were, she never used or heard about electricity so...), meeting them.]

Oh, I can understand your feelings... [Her smile widens as well] but we have a chance to return, someday, don't we? And then we'll finally be able to enjoy their company again. [Even if she really miss a small group of children she knows she'll never meet again.]
So... how do you spend your time here, Colette? They told me I'll have to train this little boy and fight other... creatures or join contests to be really allowed to travel around this world... [But both things don't sound really intersting]

[She nods vigorously in response.] That's right! [She clasps her hands in front of her.] We just have to remain optimistic.

Well, I've taken part in the battles to make it easier, but I've mostly been exploring! There's so much to see here in Unova...!

I see... exploring sounds fun. [It's been a while from the last time she enjoyed a peaceful walk or anything like that] Any good advice for a new arrival? I doubt I'll pick the pokeimon battles route unless it's really necessary. [Pauses for a moment] Have you already visited many places? Ah, my apologies, so many silly questions... So... uhm... there's anything you'd like to talk about?

And, indeed, tepig was the first she noticed: the first reaction was a fast step back, then, realizing it probably was one of the small and common monsters around... she just knelt down, trying to pat its head.

"My my, hello dear..." She murmured before realizing a humanoid figure was approaching them "Good mor-" Oh holy Lord in Heavens, what was that... thing?

Does "I'm just totally freaking out in front of a black, evil-looking, creepy, scary humanoid black creature" sound good enough? She... just waves her hands in front of her, nervously, opening her mouth and... why aren't words coming out? "..." Com on, Jehanne, even if he's some kind of wvil being you're not going to follow under the evil's power! "..." and, finally, she manages to calm down, even if it only means she stopped moving like an idiot. Sorry, tepig, you're going to be ignored right now.

Her Cubone frowns, moving a step closer to her and waiting there.

Wow, way to make a horrible first impression. By this point Jack's gotten far less likely to simply ignore this than he is to visibly get ticked.

"WHAT?" he 'asks', eyes narrowed with clear annoyance.

This probably doesn't help the situation at all really.

Her first thought? *Oh, God, it talks!* And, of course, his tone of voice and his 'frown' were everything but helpful in calming her down. Wait... what did the extralink man say? Very different people from very different worlds? Oh, no... was that what he meant with it? That.... wasn't really something she'd easily accept, still it was probably worth trying to understand what the other was, right?

"Uhm... hello!" Being almost aggressive, Jehanne's greeting was everything but friendly. Being careful was her priority, who knows which forms the Evil can take?

Wow how obvious is it that you're terrified of him, holy crap.

It's to the point that he's scooping up a cheery little tepig and snorting. "Hn!" Giiiiiiirl you're not even worth greeting if that's your attitude!

Though this is certainly an issue. Not only does he have to walk past you to get to route 1, but he's not entirely sure what direction Colette went in- and he's kind of travelling with her at the moment.

...WELL, he'll just find out himself right?

Hopefully you don't give him any trouble as he attempts to walk past then.

Try to visit France in her historical period: she's extremely friendly and calm compared to many other people you'd met.

And- Oh, GOD! It's moving closer! It's moving closer! Aaaaaaaaah- time to freak out and-wait, is the orange pig moving closer? So- is it a trainer? Dear God, are you kidding? Why had you to create such a creepy creature? And what if all trainers are so... scary?

"Uhm... are you a... trainer?" Careful, Jehanne, you can never know when the devil is going to tempt you... after all even His son in his perfection was tempted before his death. Keep repeating your beloved Hail Mary and everything will be fine.

He'll turn his head to look to you just briefly, but he doesn't stop moving, likely even making it a step past. "Apparently!" he scoffs, Tepig cheerily 'singing' under his arm as he walks.

You can keep your Hail Mary, Jehanne, he's got no time for such things even though comparatively you're quite nicer than your historical fellows

That growl he made was almost audible, and even though you wouldn't have heard it, the tepig in his arms briefly looks up in worry; she also starts yapping off to Jehanne's own partner. 'Stop that! He's a good trainer!!' Stop stop stop-

"Tch! If that's how you see it, I don't see why I should care then!" JACK YOU JUST SAID YOU CARED YOU IDIOT.

Either way, storming off. 'I like the other lady better, she's nicer!' ...So says Miss Tepiggy.

Oh, it's growling, isn't it? It's a beast, definitely a beast! And... cubone doesn't seem impressed-

"I mean... you're not human, are you?" And, wow, even if Jack is a eeeevil monster from the dept of hell... she's feeling almost bad about it. Maybe, from the other's point of view, she's the monstrous one. O-of course only real humans are under God's precious care and other beings don't have a real soul but- she still felt almost sorry. The tepig just said something good about him, didn't it? Even if her ability to understand pokemon's language exists only in her mind, she's more very good at reading other creature's emotions and feelings trought gestures and expressions
"Uh... I'm sorry...?" She's not really sure about it, really, still... Oh, look at him, how is he supposed to be a normal creature? She heard about dark skinned people in foreign countries who are like wild animals but that's... too much, definitely too much.

The young cubone sighs, facepalming 'She is nice... she's just scared'. He's way more open minded than his owner, no doubts about that. Oh, it's leaving, isn't it?
