Second Bond - Blackouts stop nothing [action]

[If he's going to train, he's going to go train. Even if that leads to Rally futilely trying to harass all the ghost Pokemon swarms, as he always does. The little Eevee is so easily distracted sometimes, and hordes of Pokemon that it can't touch are an ample distraction.

Eventually, it would end up scaring at least one of them, wouldn't it? Thankfully, Yuusei was able to get Rally to behave after a while, and even make friends with the little ghost.

Which means that when Yuusei comes back to where he's staying with Crow and Kurt, he has a newly captured Golett following him.]

[Rally is automatically nosing at Gardna and helping it sit up after being blown back by that fist, which leaves Yuusei free to help Zone.]

Oi, Zone! Are you alright?

"Er-Erm, I think..." Zone, child- "...What just happened?"

Meanwhile Crow's looking over himself- "...shit, no pokeballs..."

"Ah- I-I have some..."

"It's a ghost pokemon that used to be something else, apparently," he answers with a shrug, the oversoul hand still clamped quite firmly over its mask.

"YAMAYAMAYAMAYAMAYAMA-"

"'Yamask'. Supposedly, the mask is the face they had in life- they can use it to possess things."

Zone blinks. "Eh- The mask is their face..?" But that mask is...

"YAMAYAMAYAMAYAMAAAAASSSSSKKKKKK"

"Oi, you alright? It didn't get you too did it?"

Zone's turn- "That's Paradox's mask though!"

"Paradox..?"

The troll nods. "My friend from home!!"

[Yuusei's mouth settles into a thin line, before nodding.]

Ah. I...remember that name.

[Crow can probably tell that Yuusei is hiding something, at least from Zone.]

Yuusei you have a look that says 'we're talking later', and Zone...

"So he was your friend then?"

"YAMAYAMAYAMAYAMA-"

Zone nods, and Crow continues. "Right. How about you toss a ball at it then."

"Mn!" The troll nods, pulling one from his pocket as the yamask falls curiously silent. There's some hesitancy, and even awkwardness, however- "G... GO!"

"YA-"

[Yuusei acknowledges that look with a quick flicker of eyes to the side, before looking back to Zone.]

How strange. First Claws, and now Paradox...you seem to be collecting Pokemon that are apparently your friends, Zone.

Probably not the best point to make, as when he has the pokeball he ends up looking at it quite guiltily.

"...But Claws made sense," he half protests, his voice barely above a whisper. "Why would the others be dead?"

I don't know.

[And kneeling down next to Zone.]

For all we know, it could probably just be the result of whatever turned him into this Ghost type-maybe this species of Pokemon was the best fit for him.

[And maybe it just has something to do with a future timeline that Yuusei really doesn't want to propose, not when Zone seems so worried right now.]

He nods after a few moments, holding the ball close...

And then tossing it forward-

"YAAAAAAAA-"

"P... Paradox..?"

"...mask."

Crow frowns. "That's not the typical coloration..."

Nor are the eyes very typical either- one is red, the other blue, and the one on the right has Paradox's familiar red line marks around it.

I'm guessing the coloration has something to do with what Paradox originally looked like?

[Shrug. Looks like he's going to have to get used to addressing Paradox, then.]

"Ah, well, the eyes look like his..."

Crow blinks. "I take it the mask is closer than gold would be huh?"

A nod- "Y-Yea! It was black and white, so."

Paradox looks more like his pouting now- it's easier to see his expression when he's not using someone's face!

[Disapproving frown that is almost reminiscent of a parent, oddly enough.]

Well, I hope he behaves himself from now on. If he was your friend, that possession stuff right now shouldn't have been necessary.

[Meanwhile, Gardna is shaking a fist at the Yamask. Welp.]

Zone merely gives a pained smile of sorts, and the yamask continues to huff.

"Mn- R-Right..."

Crow for his part sighs. "Hahhhh..." Back inside he goes!
