[It seems as though the person who's just appeared on the feed - a short ginger man in a pilot's uniform - had been messing around with the X-tranciever and has now figured out how to make the video work... by accident. Who knows if he's ever going to be able to figure it out on purpose, then.]

Hello...? I don't suppose anyone's watching this, but I'm Martin Crieff, well, Captain, really, but since my- I mean, Carolyn's- plane isn't here right now we can skip that and just stick with 'Martin', shall we?

Well, I just arrived here, and the people back there were very helpful, but... I have to confess that I don't, actually, understand much of what they said.

So, if anyone could, you know, give me a few pointers as to what is actually going on here, that would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Short story? Alternate universe sucking people out of other universes.

Er, by any chance do you know about this? I'm guessing that this is one of these 'Pokemon' creatures...

These two kind of look the same, don't they?

Makes as much sense as anything else. You know you use portals to leave that place right?

Oh hey! That's an archen! [Ehehehe!] 'First Bird' pokemon, similar to the archeopteryx. I'd say it's more similar to a small raptor though, [he continues.]

Archen eventually grow up into 'Archeops'; but Archen themselves can't fly.

I found that out the hard w- yes.

[Read: stumbled across and was disoriented for a while. Luckily, not dizzy.]

Ah- oh! Like, Icarus, then - he was the first pilot, you know, in Greek mythology, well admittedly he did burn up and die, but that... [Stops. Noticing that his own Archen isn't looking too happy about the story.]

He's just sort of, an inspiration, you know?

[Archen how are you not amazed by this already. Martin is apparently more interested in the 'first bird' and 'can't fly yet' parts than the dinosaurs, though.]

What? Oh, yes! I mean, I am. The Captain. Which I suppose doesn't mean as much as when I've actually got access to a plane, but. Still. Yes.

What? Really? I haven't seen any planes so far, so I wasn't sure if there even were any. But you say...?

Yep! Says 'airport' right on the map, heheh!

I think air traffic went down because of issues with the entralink; probably messes with any routes going over it right?

Well, yes. There are any number of changes that sort of thing might make to air pressurisation and weather, and... probably other things to do with the Pokemon that I don't even know about yet. Are there weather Pokemon?

Actually, I think there's one that changes form with the weather come to think. Nacrene probably has some info on that. [Hnnn.]

But heck, I think science just jumps out the window with the entralink. I mean.. For one, the whole portal thing...

Oh? No, no. I meant- like, something that would actually influence it. Make storms just because it wanted to, say, hold up a plane.

...Ah. Yes. There is that. Makes me wonder how ATC manages with all this going on.

I figure anything with that kind of serious power would be more 'legendary'... Not something you'll find around the usual route.
