Those watching on video will find whatever they're watching is tilted upside down; it's likely the camera turned on due to the jostling around that happened when Zone took the device off his arm.

As it is- Rua and Ruka managed to convince him to do some shopping and things upon the return to Accumula, and part of that grew into getting clothes for himself due to a few run-ins with the charmander travelling along. As it is. He's picked some things to try on and he's going to very much enjoy them, yes.

Those watching, or even just walking in on him are going to find that when the gloves, jacket, and glasses are gone however...

It looks like it could swallow Zone whole if it wanted- with huge clawed 'hands' at the front, and beady red eyes on a white body, it's like some sort of demon ghost.

"Yea! All trolls have one. And there are lots of different ones. I don't know why mine was aquatic though, normally only seadwellers have aquatic lusus... But I guess since I'm the only red blood it makes sense."

"What are they?" Because if you didn't know what a lusus was, then obviously a lusus is not a 'parent'.

Hm. So Claws was like a parent to you, then...?

[Hn.] The way it works for humans is that the females give birth to young, and they either raise them on their own, or enlist others to help...if you help raise a child full-time, that technically makes you a parent...

"Trolls are born different. Mature trolls give their genetic material as resulted from their two flushed romances- Matesprit, the red rom, and Kissmeisis, the black rom. This material is gathered all together in a genetic slurry which the Mother Grub takes in, and from that slurry matches are paired up, with the ones that were formed from strong attractions creating healthy trolls. Either way, she then hatches her clutch, and soon after, the grubs hatch. Grubs then make their way through the caverns toward the higher levels, entering the pupae state. And then after that, the trolls come out, and make their way through the remaining caverns. Most trolls find their lusus here, and exit the caverns with them."

Wow what. "Trolls are really small when they leave pupae state too...! Only this big." ...About the size of a one year old. Okay then.

[It sounds like some sort of large hive to him.]

Kind of. My parents died when I was very little, so I was raised by a foster parent, Martha.

I'm very lucky to have had her. I wouldn't have grown up the way I would have if it wasn't for her.

"Paradox wasn't like other yellow bloods. He didn't have psionics. Normally, an otherwise disabled troll would be taken in by the higher castes to be 'culled'- looked after, pampered...

"But as soon as he could walk, Paradox ran away instead. So Paradox never had a lusus."

Why did he run off?

"I don't know. Maybe he thought that they saw weakness in him. Paradox doesn't like being called 'weak'. And Yellow Bloods are one of the frailest of castes; that's why they have such powerful psionics. But Paradox's psionics are dulled; his eyes don't glow at all, so he can't use that power."
