O-ow, please! Someone help!

[Welp, this sure is an accidental post - in his urgency, Shindou seems to have dropped his Xtransceiver! ... And unfortunately, his Whismur is just looking on with dismay, worry, and fear.
Why? Shindou seems to have been caught!

... By an itty bitty Trapinch, that's clinging to his forearm. Seems that no matter how hard he tries, he can't get it to let go.
Even when he tries to pry it off. He doesn't want to hurt it, but...]

... Shindou!! [... Wow, okay his friend needs help, he's not going to stay in Accumula if that's the case.

Either way, he'll be talking to Shindou through video while he walks.]

... You look a bit... occupied.

... Kirino?

[Oh the - thing he dropped. He stops trying to pry the Trapinch off for a moment to regard the video but ow - So he's back to trying to get it off.]

"Occupied" is an understatement - this thing has quite the set of jaws...!

-- O-ow, ow - no, don't bite harder --!!

I'm on my way.

[A pause.] I can... certainly see that. [Even if those jaws don't compare to Kariya's Mawile because jesus christ--]

[GET OFF - oh. Well, it seems his prying's worked, since the Trapinch has finally let him go!

There's a sigh of relief, and he grabs the Trapinch by its back so it can't bite him again, before picking up his Xtransceiver.]

... Where are you, anyway?
Though, a better question would be where are we?
I haven't gotten a very good explanation.

I'd explain, but... I barely get it myself? But apparently we're in one of those regions from the Pokémon video games because this thing called the Entralink broke. As for specific locations you're--or rather, we're on Route 1. I was previously in Accumula Town, which is to the north of the route.

In a video game. ... I'm not sure what I was expecting.

[A better explanation, probably - but he sighs and shakes his head. Kirino wouldn't pull his leg like that, so...

... He'll hold the Trapinch to the feed again, and it snaps at the air a bit, cutely.]

What do I do with this, now? I can't put it back in the wild - it just follows after me again.

You could probably try to catch it... You have Pokéballs, don't you?

The red and white balls, right? Yes, I have one or two of them.

[So he'll put the Xtransceiver somewhere where Kirino can still see, and pull out a pokeball, holding it out for the Trapinch.

... And it eats it.

Excuse him for a second, he needs to get it to cough it back up -
But after a moment or so he eventually holds the pokeball back up and the Trapinch lets itself get caught!
Probably so it can eat all his food.]

... Somewhat unconventional, but whatever works, I guess.

[Although, his focusing on the Xtransceiver's screen means he hasn't exactly been watching his surroundings.

... So yeah, if you heard his voice a bit louder than it was previously, Shindou, that miiiiight be because Kirino's standing a few feet away from you.]

[... And he turns off his feed with a bit of a grin because Kirino...]

I guess you really weren't too far away at all.

[Look! It's your best friend in the flesh, Kirino! 'u']

Yeah. [That earns a smile as Kirino switches off his feed as well. COME HERE SO KIRINO CAN GIVE YOU A HUG ;w;]

[Nope, you have to come here - Shindou's not the kind to go running and hugging with joy, you know! Though he wouldn't be against a hug right now --]

You've been here a while, huh?

[Fine, he's going over there but HE IS GETTING THAT HUG.]

A while, yeah. Kariya and Hayami are here, too.

[He'll get a huge hug then!]

I'm not too surprised. Where the team goes, I go, after all.

... Though, this place... uh. It brings people from parallel universes... and apparently it can bring doubles of people...

There's another "you" with the rest of the group, as well as a version of Tenma from his universe... [His tone takes a bit of a downwards turn with that, and he fidgets a little, even while he's hugging Shindou.]

[Kariya looks more exasperated than surprised when he appears on the Xtransceiver's screen -- probably, on both counts, because he has no idea this is Raimon's Shindou and not the one who's already been here a good while.

Jeez, hasn't the kid learned how to battle at all, yet? He's not going to start crying on that Trapinch, too, is he?]

Just get your Pokémon to make it back off or something.

It'll get distracted and you can run, after an attack or two...

[If, you know, you want to be even more embarrassing.]

Run? - No, I'm not going to run, it's only half a foot tall!
I just want it to let go; it's bite hurts, you know...!

[C-come on, little guy, time to stop biting?;;;

He'll just wiggle his finger in the thing's jaws like you'd do to a cat and - oh!!
There's an audible sigh of relief, and he finally picks the Xtransciever up.]

... Ah - Kariya. I should have guessed it was you, of course.

[... And Poco's off being kind of useless now, since the Trapinch wants to meet him next -]

[Eyeroooooooll...if getting the thing off was that simple, couldn't he have just tried that before wailing to the entire world for help? Second-years are so unimpressive sometimes.

All the same, Kariya keeps to a painfully mock-polite smile and tone:]

'Of course.'

Well, I'm glad you didn't get eaten, Shindou-senpai...did you go off looking for Pokémon on your own?

[He didn't think of it 'till just now, jeeez.]

More like he found me.

I've only just arrived - [Basically, anyway, he's near the end of Route 1!] - and I've already been jumped by some sort of giant bug...
Does this sort of thing happen often, Kariya? In this place?

[Pleeease be honest; he needs to know what to expect.]

If you go into the tall grass, of course wild Pokémon are going to jump out at you. I don't think most of them will try to chomp on you, though...

[There's maybe a hint of a silent "duh" lurking in there, because it's not until Kariya's answered that he notes what Shindou said, before that -- ]

You only just arrived...where?
