[Well, it seems someone got a hold of Hayami's Xtransceiver - and by "someone" I mean his Togepi, Pigeto. But for good reason - for once, Hayami seems to be battling a Pokemon!! Rather than befriending it, huhuhu.

Unfortunately for onlookers, its just the tail end of the match -]

Chobomaki-kun, use Acid one more time, please!

[Pigeto catches the ball of acid on film of course, following it from the Shelmet all the way to Hayami's opponent - a wild Unown they found thanks to the swarm!
Acid hits, luckily - and it seems like Unown is just weak enough for catching. So one quick toss, and they're waiting for the nice, little click...

Shake...

Shake...

Shake... ... ...

Ping!]

... A-ah.

I... I caught it! I really caught it!

[Hayami nearly tumbles forward to pick the Pokeball back up, his face all lit up - the first Pokemon he actually battled to catch, and he caught it...!]

... I-I hope it likes me, after that...

[And that's when it cuts out, thanks to his ~brilliant~ Togepi dropping the Xtransceiver on the ground.]

Otogi has probably been looking like his regular Zoroark self for the past bit of time, which is a little creepy...

But no creepier than the fact that be just about OKO'd his latest team-member really. Hello there Eelektrik!

Regardless, he comes over to inspect. "I'm sure it'll be fine. Neh, Togepi..?" Otogi should also stop slipping into pokespeak really.

Speaking of - Hayami lets the Unown back out of the Pokeball so he can heal it up, and the little Y shaped Pokemon blinks up at all of them. More people than it's used to...]

"Mnn? Is it making things uncomfortable at all?" He seems to say this with genuine worry... ...Though that could simply be because he can easily flash an illusion over himself when you're looking, hahahaha.

And once it's all healed up, his new Pokemon's going to zip around to inspect its teammates - and Otogi, of course.]

"Though the pokemon here aren't the same as the ones in my world; my world... I suppose you could say that it would be as though all humans here were pokemon; we had buildings, and banks... No gyms of course, but we still had things like cities."

Ah... I guess you wouldn't know if Psychic Pokemon really are telepathic, then, huh?

"Mnn? Some are. It quite depends; more importantly, some pokemon aren't born telepathic, but are able to gain the skill with practice. Of course," he adds somewhat cheekily, "As a 'Dark type'...~"
