united_one | [Two] {Action/Video} / Here there be dragons

[The feed's view opens to the same thing it did the first time -- a rather way too intimate shot of a Deino. Thankfully, Jou pulls back before long, poking at the transmitter to try and dig it out of the bag.]

Rrrrggg?

[That other sound is distinctly not a Pokemon, for those who are familiar with them -- it sounds like the growl of a giant, somewhat annoyed dragon. There's the sound of heavy thunks off-camera as the Deino attempts to remember how to carry the Xtransceiver, knocking it around and giving a good shot of... well, not a lot. Finally, the Pokemon remembers how to do it and picks it up, turning the view towards the area behind it.

What's sitting there is a large, blue white dragon that appears to be trying to not knock down anything in its immediate vicinity.

After a moment of a few exchanged growls, the dragon transforms into a far more familiar figure -- that of Kurt himself. With the bandages gone, it's easy to see the actual cuts and slashes criss-crossing about his body... that is, assuming you're observant enough to get over the fact that he was just a giant beast and is currently completely stark naked.]

Jou, what are you doing with...

[He blinks, picking up his glasses off the ground and adjusting them before he realizes just what the Pokemon has.]

...Is that on?

Deino!

[The camera sways as Jou gives what's assumably a proud nod, causing Kurt to sputter and snatch at it. It only takes a moment for him to have the view now far above his waistline, his face clearly bright red.]

...Does anyone happen to have any extra clothes?

[ Shocked into not making sure she has her caused by a spell accident Eevee ears covered. And averting her eyes even before he's completely human looking again because she is a shy teenage girl. ]

U-um... If you're not far from Nimbasa I could get something easy enough and send my Altaria to bring it to you.

[ Because she is most certainly not going in person. It would mean buying something but, she doesn't really mind that. ]

[He appreciates the averting-eyes thing. Really.]

That would be great, if you could. I'm just on Route 5, a bit off the path.

[Guess who tried to train in the exact wrong place?]

[ She made the mistake of trying to start training on a route with higher level Pokémon when she first got here too. ]

Okay. It won't take long.

[ She'll just go buy a shirt and probably pair of pants that are just a bit too big since she doesn't know the right size and in maybe about fifteen minutes there will be a big, cloud winged bird looking for you. ]

[Thankfully, Kurt's keeping an eye out for it and he waves it down. Here, birdie, here!

It only takes him a minute to pull the clothes on, baggy or not, before he's back on the video.]

Thank you! I appreciate it. I always seem to forget to take off my clothes before I transform...

[ The Altaria hasn't flown away yet. ]

You're welcome... Do you transform a lot?

[ And since she knows you haven't been here long. ]

And um, if want you can ask Yuffie, the Altaria, to stay with you until you get to town.

[ The Pokémon flaps her wings and trills questioningly. In a way asking if she should stay for a while or go back to her own trainer now. ]

Not really. I've only recently learned how to at will, it was more I was a bit... surprised by some of the Pokemon out here. I think Jou's a little too untrained for us to work here.

[He smiles at the Altaria, then Hazel.]

I would appreciate that, thank you! I don't think Jou and I could get back on our own.

[ And she almost completely forgot about the ability to warp to the Entralink until just now. ]

Um... that is if you'd rather not use the warp thingy to go to the Entralink. Forgot about that for a while. I'm not sure it's really a good time to go there right now though.

[ Even if it's not dangerous they might get in the way of repairs if they went there. She's not really sure what's going on with that at the moment. ]

Warp thingie?

[Yeah, he has no idea.]

[ Oh yeah. He was in the hospital and didn't get this stuff explained. ]

The Xtransceivers have a thing on them that lets you warp to the Entralink. From there you can warp different places depending on how many Gym Badges or Contest Ribbons you have. It might be a little messed up there right now though.

Oh, I see! I'll have to remember that for later. Right now, I think I should probably get back to the hospital so they can rebandage these cuts...

[ Hazel, he was a giant dragon not long ago. He's not going to mind any weirdness about you. Still, she only told a couple people and doesn't really know him well at all... ]

Oh... are they really bad?

[ She didn't get a good look before. And to offer healing or not to offer healing? She'd feel bad about not helping when she really could but... Augh! She can't decide if she really wants more people to know. ]

[Even if he wasn't a dragon, Kurt isn't the kind to really judge. He's more the kind to go "Ooh, cool! It's shiny!" I mean, he hasn't even commented on your Eevee ears.

He scratches his cheek a little.]

Well, I thought they were. I mean, they should be, but they don't really seem to be all that bad anymore. I guess I heal fast!

You're not sure?

[ She's goona go meet him at the entrance to the city and have a look before deciding whether she'll offer to heal him. ]

Maybe I could take a look...

[ If he doesn't look too bad she won't feel too awful about just letting him go get his bandages replaced at the hospital... Not going to the hospital with him if that's where he goes though. Doctors give her the creeps. ]

No, not really. I mean, with how bad they were, just changing like that probably should have reopened them all, but they aren't bleeding, as you can see.

[Or saw. He's going to pretend the whole "naked" thing never happened.]

So I don't know. Maybe I do? I'm a dragon, so it would make sense...

[ She didn't really see much before he put some clothes on. It's obvious he's not bleeding though since it would have soaked through the shirt by now. She'll still be waiting to meet you just to be sure though.]

I guess you do seem mostly okay as far as I can tell right now.

[ Yuffie trills as if to agree. The Altaria is just circling in the sky since she's not really suited to much walking and is a bit big to perch on people. ]

Do the cuts still hurt?

Yes, a lot, actually. But I just try to ignore it if I can't really do anything about it. I mean, it doesn't help if I'm really preoccupied -- I walk into poles when that happens.

[Said as cheerfully as anything, though he's starting to follow Yuffie back now. Jou is jumping up, clearly wanting a ride on the other Pokemon.]

[ Break her brain why don't you. She'd face palm but, she's trying not to be rude. The part of her that doesn't want to see someone suffer and the part of her that says 'aaagh, too many people know already' are having a fight now. Don't know who's winning yet. ]

And you're out walking around?

[ Yuffie trills in annoyance. Nope. Not here to give rides. Just to make sure you don't get beat up by things before you get back to town. ]

Of course. I get a little stir crazy if I have to stay in bed for days. Wouldn't you?

[It's the things that have insane but still actual logic behind them that are the worst.

Jou gives an unhappy noise, dropping into step by Kurt's ankles. Fine, meanie!]

I guess I would...

[ Of course the only times Hazel had reason to be in bed for more than normal sleep she literally could not get up without help... and may not have been entirely conscious for most of it. ]

But you don't have to stay in bed to take it easy. There's lots of stuff to do right in the city.

[ Yuffie trilled 'ignoring you'. For a full grown Altaria she was rather childish. ]
