I think you're already qualified, just as long as you have your friend there. [He smiles at the Bagon.] If you ask around at each town you visit, the people there should be able to tell you if you can get a badge there and where. It's apparently a pretty big deal.

You mean your Pokemon? There's a store in any Pokemon Center that sells anything your Pokemon might need: healing items, medicine, food. You're actually lucky to have started off with a Dragon-type Pokemon like Bagon. They're supposed to be pretty rare.

Uh yeah, dude. Each Pokemon has one or two types out of seventeen. Some have just one type, some have two, and each one has there own strengths and weaknesses.

[A Roselia pops into view to see the Shinx and gave a small wave.] Like Marah here. She's Grass and Poison type. Grass types are weak against Fire, Poison Bugs and Flying Pokemon while Poison types are weak against Ground and Psychic types.
