Kirino's Pokémon (his Swablu, and a recently acquired Milotic) are both out to enjoy the lovely weather, and Kirino...

... is currently being harassed by a small army of ghost-types. There's a good number of Shuppets about as well as a Misdreavus that's taken a liking to yanking on his pigtails.

Kirino really, really just looks like he's resigned himself to all this, however, rather than panicking and flailing and trying to drive them away like he was a few minutes ago.]

You've got to be kidding m--OW! [Stupid Misdreavus.]

They're going to keep being a nuisance, though... Shuppets are notorious for being mean. They kind of... feed off of negative feelings.

[Mostly jealousy. ... Kirino do you have something to share with the class.]

Alto, Peck. Constance, Water Gun. [And then suddenly water and also a tiny bird dive-bombing one of the Shuppets to peck at it--]

[Here - Hayami's going to try to help out, putting his Togepi down and backing off a bit.]

[Which gets a little nod from his Togepi, who wiggles his little hands in the air --

Only to send a blast of fire forward at one of the Shuppets, which disperses and burns some of the other ghosts while it does so!

Metronome's a signature move of Togepi, and when a Pokemon uses it, they use a random move from any Pokemon.

... Except for Assist, Chatter, Copycat, Counter, Covet, Destiny Bond, Detect, Endure, Feint, Focus Punch, Follow Me, Helping Hand, Me First, Metronome, Mimic, Mirror Coat, Mirror Move, Protect, Quick Guard, Sketch, Sleep Talk, Snatch, Struggle, Switcheroo, Thief, Trick, or Wide Guard, I mean.

But, uh... other than those, anything goes at all.

I'm pretty sure Pigeto-kun used Flame Burst...

In the meantime, Kirino's been dispersing a few of the other small ghosts... Or at least Constance has, Alto's still grappling with the one she dive-bombed.]

The Misdreavus... seems to have taken a liking to Hayami, from the looks of it. She'll certainly take Hayami up on that offer for playing with him and his Pokémon!]

... Meanwhile - Hayami reaches into the little pouch on the side of his bag, pulling out an empty Pokeball and putting it on the ground.]

[Aaaand it looks like the Shuppet was successfully caught!

Kirino picks up the Pokéball and turns around triumphantly-- just to see the Misdreavus willingly go into the Pokéball with absolutely no fuss.

[Ah, yay! He scoops the ball back up then with a grin, letting her out again so she can travel along side him.

... She's gonna need a name, hmm.]

... Can I call you Muma-chan?

Kirino lets out the Shuppet, reaching over to stroke its head with a finger.] I think I'll call him Athos.
