[Well; Hayami definitely had a bit of a panic when he found out just where he is and what he's supposed to be doing - but he didn't record that, luckily. So you all get spared of it!
No, instead; he looks incredibly pleased now, and more than ready for anything!]

... W-wow. I guess this is too real to be a dream, actually being in the Pokemon world...
Is anyone I know out there? Hamano-kun, or Shindou-kun? [He'd even take Tenma right now, honestly --]
I-if you are, I want to help you out! [Y'all should know he's the team's ~~number one nerd~~ video gamer, after all!!]

And, um... hi to everyone else, too. I'm Hayami Tsurumasa, and it's nice to meet everyone...!

Hayami! [In fact, here's Kirino on the video feed, Nimbasa in the background and a Swablu perched on his head.] Did you just get here?

Kirino-kun! [And he's just lighting up even more - so he does have friends here!]

I did - i-isn't it amazing? Us, having a journey in the Pokemon world...!

[... He doesn't realize how much this might go over the defender's head, of course.]

Is that your first Pokemon, Kirino-kun? The Swablu?

[A quick nod to the first part--it does go over his head, after all--and then a more eager one to the second.]

Yeah, her name's Alto! [Alto gives a few trills of greeting, apparently hopping closer to the X-transceiver to get a closer look... so yes, have a curious Swablu face taking up quite a bit of the screen.]

... "Alto", Kirino-kun? [But when she evolves into an Altaria --
Well. He gives Alto a smile anyway, and a little wave.]

She's so cute...! And I think Swablu is the perfect one for you, Kirino-kun - you'll like having her around!

Yeah, for "altocumulus", mostly. [Alto seems to lose interest in the X-transceiver and flies back up to her original perch on Kirino's head. Kirino smiles and reaches up to stroke her head a little.]

She's a real sweetheart... What Pokemon did you receive? [Curious Kirino is curious!]

O-oh, mine? Um... [Well - Chobomaki was wanting attention anyway, so he swivels the camera down to the Shelmet at his feet and kneels - that way he can give a proper hello! In the form of squeaks and a kissing face at the camera, of course.]

A Shelmet! Bug type, of course... they're slow, but really cute and reliable. I call him Chobomaki-kun. [Because he's not creative at all unless it's Minecraft.]

[Kirino offers a wave to the Shelmet, and Alto chirps her own greeting.]

Hey, do you want to meet up or something?

... Can we? Aren't you kind of far away, Kirino-kun..?

[The camera's on him again, of course - though his Shelmet's going to try and get into the view as well.]

Not quite. [aaAAH WHAT- you look like a zoroark. As it is, someone cuts in on the feed to make it a three-way call.]

Though most warp points from the Entralink are broken, the ones for Nuvema and Nimbasa both work fine- and we haven't left for Driftveil yet.

[...Because otherwise they wouldn't be able to recover after Otogi's moronic BEAR FIGHT.]

... Yeah, what Otogi-san said.

Otogi-san, this is one of my friends from back home. Hayami, this is Otogi-san, he's helped me out quite a bit since I got here.

O-oh! It's nice to meet you, Otogi-san. [Hayami offers a little bow, then!]

... There are more warp points in the Entralink, though? Should I head to Nimbasa?

[He'd like to travel with Kirino and Otogi, after all - everything's better with your friends!]

That would depend; do you intend to take the gym challenge, or will you be aiming for contests as a breeder instead?

The first badge is in Striaton, which is closer to Nuvema; more importantly Elesa refuses challenges from any with fewer than three badges to prevent anyone who starts in Nimbasa from challenging her too early.

[Kirino actually has no input this time, Alto chirping to fill the silence.]

O-oh, no - Chobomaki-kun wouldn't be ready to battle Elesa, anyway! [~~Wow, it was hard to not call her Elesa-chan --~~]

I guess Nuvema would be a better idea... But you two are so far ahead of me - are you sure you're okay with going back?

Ahhh...

I believe that depends. Kirino is a pokemon breeder; the contest hall and resources would be in Nimbasa.

At the same time, travel would be helpful, and I have the badge, which means it would be possible to warp... [Can you even do that with a caravan]

[Do they even have the caravan yet--]

The travel would still do good anyway, though, in my opinion.

[And that's where he shuts up.]

... Well, if it would be too much, we don't have to travel together just yet.
But it'd be a bad idea for me to go that way, anyway - I wouldn't be able to battle or catch anything, since Chobomaki-kun is still low leveled...

I-if you want, though, I could meet you both there?

Actually, there are a fair number of resources here for starting trainers; including small arena's to train in...

Not to mention, the city houses a natural population of joltik that wouldn't at all be considered out of your level range for the moment. If anything, it could help to give a bit of a boost before Striaton. Most trainers find themselves underleveled when they get there otherwise.
