united_one | [action/video] Route 16 again

[ It's another training session. This time Sephiroth is recording it to watch later to better adjust his methods. And broadcasting because he can. A curious Emolga is watching as well... and it apparently thinks the training looks like fun because it tries to join in.

Of course this results in Sephiroth stopping the training for the moment. Except the Emolga doesn't really get the hint. It kinda catches Sephiroth unprepared but, instead of really hitting him it just clings to the front of his coat.

Not that he understands it but, the happy little noise it makes at getting to him without being blocked translates to 'Got you~'. Sephiroth is not particularly amused. ]

Well, aren't you fast.

[ He carefully pries the cute thing off and sets it down on the ground. ]

Stay out of the way. This isn't a game.

[ He turns to walk away. Perhaps to find an area with less curious critters. He doesn't make it more than a few steps before the Emolga leaps to cling to the end of his hair. 'Don't go!'

He reaches back and pulls his hair up so that the Pokémon is hanging in front of his face.]

You are pushing your luck.

[ ...And it's giving him cute begging eyes. He pulls it out of his hair, drops it on the ground and turns to walk away again. It follows, of course. Yeah, it's going to eventually manage to make him take it with him whether he likes it or not. ]

[ He really has no clue why it would like him. Sure he's trying not to be too cruel but, he's not exactly being nice to it either. ]

It's better off staying where it belongs.

It probably just wants to challenge you. You're pretty good at training after all.

And well, if that wasn't the case, there's no harm in testing it out, right?

[ Hear that in the background? That's Fair the Absol chatting with the Emolga. ]

The one I have is doing well enough I suppose but, I doubt my methods are right for all Pokémon.

[ Of course he doesn't just stick to sparring with Fair himself. He does some regular Pokémon training too. ]

Well the little guy seems interested enough. Who's to say what's completely right?

It doesn't matter. I am not interested in having it around.

[ To bad for him that Fair seems to like the cute little thing. He'll be getting two pairs of begging eyes relatively soon. ]

Doesn't seem like your other partner feels the same way.

[>So you observe, pointing out what is probably two pairs of pleading eyes behind Sephiroth]

[ And Sephiroth glances over to see the two pairs of eyes apparently trying to stare into his soul. ]

Honestly Fair?

[ Sephiroth sighs. ]

How like him.

[ He hasn't given in just yet though. ]

Looks like you're in quite a pinch, huh?

[>You give a light-hearted chuckle]

Indeed. It wouldn't do for Fair to resent me for denying him this.

[ Uncertain whether that really means he's going to let the Emolga join them the begging faces change to hopeful ones. ]

So, what'cha gonna do?

[ Calculating. Having fair resent him would make things much harder than dealing with the distraction of the Emolga's antics. ]

There is little choice. I suppose it can always be released if it doesn't behave.

[ That's a yes. He'll just line-face when the Emolga jumps up and clings to him in celebration. ]

Ahaha~ You've gotta like who you're traveling with after all.

Oh, uh, I guess I forgot to introduce myself! Narukami Yu.

Hmm, perhaps.

[ He'll just watch the Emolga go hopping off to chat with Fair some more before he introduces himself simply. ]

Sephiroth-san, huh? That's an interesting name. I probably could've had a Persona named that... Well, all's well that ends well, right?
