EVENT - Pokemon attacking and stuff

So. It's morning, in winter. It's a nice time, nice and cool. Well, cold, but whatever. This is a short part, because the majority of this EVENT OPENING will be in comments below this.

So yeah. Pokemon are wrecking shit, looking for you guys from other universes.

"I'm not pawsitive, either," said Nepeta, frowning and then waving her claws towards another approaching Pokémon.

A grin spreads across her face at the second question, though. "Well, I only have Leon, but if you have more Pokémon then don't hold back!"

"Alright! Let's turn the tables then! Tanit! Let's go!" Estelle called out, sending her Audino into the fray.

"Audiii~" Tanit hummed merrily, before spotting that her trainer was in great danger.

"No! no no!" Audino cried out, standing in front of Estelle.

"Hehe, thank you for your concern Tanit, but I have another request of you. Use Helping Hand on Leon, if you please! Hachiko Odor Sleuth!" Estelle requested, her Pokemon sounding off to her commands.

"Audiii!" Tanit hummed, sending an exciting jolt of energy to Nepeta's Shinx, powering it up.

"GrrrAR!" Hachiko howled, sniffing out the Golett's.

"Oh my, I don't believe I've introduced myself. You may call me Estellise for now~" Estelle giggled, fending off another attacker with subtle warning swings.

Surprised at the sudden burst of energy, Leon jumped, but quickly took advantage of the new power by using Charge and letting his fur bristle with electricity before charging into a Sigilyph with a Spark attack after Nepeta's command.

"I'm Nepeta Leijon!" she said, grinning. "It's a purrleasure to meet you!" And with that she pounced forward, right back into the fray.

"Hehe~ It's a pleasure to meet you as well, Nepeta~" Estelle giggled, before deciding to focus on the enemies.

She decided they needed a new plan.

"Ummm... do you think we should try capturing one?" Estelle proposed, sidestepping a Golett's Fire Punch as Hachiko sank his teeth into it, powered by one of Tanit's Helping Hands.

"Capturing one?" echoed Nepeta, tilting her head curiously. Catching—right, that was something that had been gone over, with Pokéballs and whatnot. What a funny system, she had thought, but it had to be worth a shot!

"Let's try it!" she said brightly, and crouched over with her claws out, ready to pounce again. What a hunt this would be!

"Alright! Um... why don't we pick one each? Do you have one in mind?" Estelle wondered, taking out her Pokedex/Xtransceiver/Whatever it is and examining the data on the attacking Pokemon.

"Oh, um..." Nepeta looked back and forth between the group of Pokémon. "One of those, I guess!" She waved her claw towards a Sigilyph. There wasn't much time to really go and think about the decisions at hand, especially considering these Pokémon were hostile and she was shouting, "Spark, Leon!" out at her Pokémon in the middle of the conversation, but the Sigilyph had been the one to catch her eye first.

"Right! Um! Hachiko, Bite it!" Estelle commanded, fretting about the enemies surrounding her. The Lillipup barked before leaping at the Sigilyph and sinking its fangs into the psychic monstrosity.

"Um, Miss Nepeta! I think it might be weak enough now!" Estelle gasped, panting as she dodged a charge from the two Baltoy. "Tanit, a Growl if you will!"

The Audino let out a cute Growl, maybe mellowing their attackers out.

"Oh, right!" Nepeta nodded. She fumbled about in the pockets of her coat for a moment before pulling out one of the Pokéballs she'd received and, after hesitating for only a moment to make sure those Baltoy weren't heading for her next, she threw the ball at the psychic monstrosity.

She didn't watch it long enough to see the thing become engulfed by the little red beam, though, as she was immediately distracted by a pair of Golett charging at her and Estelle. "Bite, Leon!" she called out, and Leon lunged forward with his fangs bared while Nepeta unsheathed her claws and swatted at the approaching Pokémon with them. But even if she missed it, the ball had ceased shaking with a tiny click noise.

"Hup!" Estelle cried, swinging her pipe to have the Baltoy keep their distance.

It seemed Nepeta had successfully captured one, but they weren't out of the woods yet.

"Tanit, another Growl please! Hachiko, use Bite on that Golett!" Estelle called out to her Pokemon as she rushed toward the Pokeball Nepeta had thrown. Her Audino lowered the severity of their attackers' moves and Hachiko dug his fangs into the Golett that Leon didn't.

"Miss Nepeta! Catch!" Estelle called out as she tossed the Sigilyph's Pokeball overhead.

The Baltoy near her spun agitatedly, summoning rocks around the area.

"Ehhhh?" Estelle cried, worried about their current tactic.

The troll-girl was in the middle of rolling out of the way of a Baltoy flying towards her and spinning like a drill when Estelle threw the Pokéball towards her. Catlike reflexes kicked in, though, and with a quiet "hee-ah!" she was jumping up and snatching the ball out of the air.

"Huh?" She had landed on the ground, on all fours in that feline way of hers, and looked up to see the rocks a Baltoy had summoned. What in the world...?

Unfortunately, Leon wasn't quite as hesitant and in the middle of his brawl with the Golett had staggered backwards and right into one of the pointed stones. He let out a tiny, pained cry and immediately Nepeta was heading towards him, just barely skating under one set of stones and jumping straight through another set with wild abandon, ignoring the cuts she was getting from her recklessness. In what seemed like an instant she was practically on top of her Pokémon, claws out and tail lashing behind her.

You do not fuck with a mamma's kittens.

"Nice catch!" Estelle cheered as Nepeta received the Sigilyph's Pokeball, but what's this? Was Nepeta surrounded now?

"Aaaa! What should I... Oh?" Estelle panicked, before noticing the state of one Golett to be fairly weak.

"We'll take two down this way! Um! Pokeball go!" Estelle cried out, sending one Pokeball flying through the air at one Golett. The device opened up and sucked the golem in unwittingly, tossing around.

"Gyaa!" Estelle cried as the other Sigilyph flew right toward her, which Tanit intercepted with a Pound. The Pokeball wiggled to a stop.

"Miss Nepeta!? Are you alright!?" Estelle cried out to her partner, swinging away at the Baltoys.

"Uh-huh!" Nepeta called over her shoulder, but was entirely too busy swatting at approaching Golett with her claws and making sure Leon was covered to really look over at Estelle. He may not have been hurt quite as badly as Nepeta thought he was but this was his first battle and he had barely picked himself up off the ground when Nepeta decided to carefully take him by the scruff of his neck in her mouth, just like her lusus always had with the edge of her coat, and she lunged at the Baltoys assaulting the other girl.

"How about you?" asked the troll through a mouthful of Shinx.

"I'm fine~ Thank you very much~!" Estelle giggled, back-to-back with Nepeta, poised and ready for action.

Except they were very much surrounded.

"Oh dear...If I had some of my magic this would be a simple task, but it seems the road ahead is quite rough," Estelle commented, a bit worried.

((IDK THE BATTLE CLUB GUY COULD GET HERE OR SOMETHING))

"Purrfect!" purred Nepeta through the Shinx in her mouth, even if things were rather far from it even despite their badass shit's-getting-real pose and there were still beasts completely encircling them. Mighty huntress or not, she wasn't going to last forever.

...so it was fortunate that shortly after their battle partner duo pose, a giant fiery pig rolled in and started punching things. Namely their attackers.

Of course, Nepeta didn't know anything about Don George and his battle club, but the point that got across to her was 'giant monster thing beating up the other monster things for us.'

"Whoa."

"Wah!" Estelle yelped as something... and someone came to help.

"Um... an... Emboar?" Estelle guessed, scanning the newcomer with her Pokedex. "Um! Thank you very much! Who might you be?" Estelle inquired as the other Golett and Sigilyph were taken down in an instant.

The muscular man who arrived with the Emboar stroked his mustache before flexing his muscles. "Why I am Don George of the Accumula Battle Club! Pleased to be of assistance ladies!"

...What.

Nepeta stared blankly at the man and the pig-thing that had just punched out a group of Baltoy like they were nothing. An Emboar, right? It reminded her of the tuskbeasts back on Alternia, the ones who stampeded around in small hoards and would feed her and Pounce for days—not that she was about to mess with this one.

"Should we...should we go?" Nepeta asked quietly.

It was over.

Estelle picked up the Pokeball that contained the Golett she captured, who seemed to have settled down.

"Um... thank you sir. It's been a pleasure," Estelle curtsied to Don George as she briskly walked toward Nepeta.

"It's alright now~ Are you hungry, Miss Nepeta~? Let's go grab a bite to eat~" Estelle smiled, offering her new friend a hand.

Well, that had certainly been an interesting experience.

Nepeta immediately perked up once food was mentioned, though. All of that hunting without actually getting any game sure did build up an appetite! "That would be purrfect!" She purred, drawing her claws back into her gloves before taking Estelle's hand ~~and skipping over fields of Pokémon corpses towards lunch~~.
