EVENT - Pokemon attacking and stuff

So. It's morning, in winter. It's a nice time, nice and cool. Well, cold, but whatever. This is a short part, because the majority of this EVENT OPENING will be in comments below this.

So yeah. Pokemon are wrecking shit, looking for you guys from other universes.

[Thomas has room to find even more things alarming as he finally gets a good look at this girl. She definitely has horns, and claws! He steps away from her, shaking his head, not sure what she could possibly be. The way she just attacks the Pokemon is disconcerting, but she can talk? Can Pokemon talk? Oh, God, what if she's not a Pokemon at all? What if he's finally found a fairy?

Looking around wildly, Thomas spots a gap in the approaching Pokemon. He lowers his gun and decides to make a break for it. Can't handle potential fairy threats and insane Pokemon at the same time! After a few hasty steps he looks back, feeling an intense mixture of guilt and frustration. The grey-horned-clawed-girl-thing did save him, after all, but... no, she was taking care of herself just fine. He backs away, not sure where he can possibly go to escape this madness. There are Pokemon everywhere.]

[Nepeta certainly notices Thomas staring back and it takes her a brief half-moment to remember that, right, this whole "troll" thing doesn't fly quite as well here, does it? While this is far from a good time to get into yet another Q&A about troll society, she goes to say something, but he's already turned tail.]

Where are you going?! [She calls over her shoulder, but doesn't have time to keep watching and find out. While she's certainly hunted Alternian beasts bigger and stronger than this (although there isn't a single one that comes to mind that just spontaneously creates fire or lightning or anything, but those are just details), a distraction will be the end of her. But she thinks she'll be able to hold this group back for now—between this and Leon's exhaustion, she's going to have to.]
