[ACCUMULA] [NIMBASA]

[Miror B. perches somewhat precariously on a fence at the top of a steep drop overlooking Accumula's Town Square. He looks very composed, amused even, by the swarm of Pokemon descending on the sleepy town.]
No, no, no! There's another one. Is that seven? Oh, I've lost count. And what about those Sigilyphs? Ooh, I've never seen those before! [He grins, lightly kicking the heels of his platform boots against the metal rungs of the fence.] Fuhohoho! What fun! I -- oh, oh! What's that now? [A noise behind him: heavy, shuffling foot-steps. Miror looks over his shoulder to see a Golett, its fists raised dangerously.] Whatever do you want, love?
[The Golett pulls back its fist, hungry flames licking up from its surface. Miror B. hesitates a moment -- Pokemon attacking people wasn't outside his realm of experience, but... The instant the Golett rushes forward to Fire Punch, Miror leaps up. He lands, standing on top of the fence rail, balanced on his heels in what no one could argue is an amazingly elegant move. The Golett swings wide and Miror leaps over its head, landing gracefully on the ground. He frowns.] Oh-so-rude of you! Where is your master, you horrible thing?"
[Miror looks around quickly, spotting Emmet in a sticky situation further down the street. He gives the Golett that attacked him a dirty look then runs towards Emmet, releasing his Lotad and Snivy as he goes.] Snivy, Vine Whip that Golett! [He points towards the Pokemon that is about to sneak attack Emmet.
No one is allowed to punch Miror B.'s lackeys except Miror B.!The Snivy spins, building momentum, then slams a vine down on the Golett's arm. The Ground-type howls in surprise.] Watch your back, darling! [Miror laughs as he stops near Emmet, finding the chaos immensely amusing.] These nasty Pokemon don't play by the rules!

[Emmet snapped around as he heard the Golett howl from damage, and then threw a skillful Pokeball. He liked Golett, after all - they reminded him of his own past, ancient protectors of the DragonSpiral Tower and all. A few wobbles later, it was caught, easily. He then gave a sharp nod to Miror B., before looking back to his own battle.]
They do not follow the rules, but that is what is fun! Yup! [...Why is Emmet enjoying this so much. Srsly.
But then his expression goes back to that serious look.]
We cannot rest. Arrow, attack. Jolt, Spider Web.

Snivy, Vine Whip the Baltoy! Lotad, hit the Sigilyph with Nature Power!
[Lotad crouches and three beams of light -- red, yellow, and blue --begin building power in the middle of his lilypad before suddenly surging forward and striking the Sigilyph. His Nature Power takes the form of Tri-Attack, being in a city. Small bolts of electricity jolt from the Sigilyph's body as one of Tri-Attack's effects takes hold: paralysis. The Psychic-type shudders and floats to the ground, but its third eye glows menacingly and Lotad is thrown backwards by psychic energy. Miror scowls at this.] Ooh, just finish him off, Lotad. Hit him again! [Lotad hops forward and shoots off another Tri-Attack. The Sigilyph faints.
Meanwhile, Snivy is having an easy time with the Baltoy. The Vine Whips are super-effective, and the Pokemon weakens quickly. It feebly Rapid Spins into Snivy once, then sets up a field of Stealth Rocks around Miror, Emmet, and their Pokemon. Miror laughs at this.] Fuhohoho! Really now! It's like they're trying to get at us, darling! Oh-so-strange. [He tosses a Pokeball towards the Baltoy. It shakes a few times, then falls still. The Stealth Rocks disappear, but more Pokemon close in.] Oh, and there's just dozens and dozens of them! Whatever could be going on?
sorry for late, irl stuff happen
But in his mind, he was going over every reason that he could think of for this. These Pokemon were guardians, of the ancients. In fact, he could have counted on them to not do this back in his Unova.
But that was there, and this is here. With a slight gulp, Emmet looked to Miror B. - and gave a confident nod.] We are not from here. We are from somewhere else. Yup, we are not meant to be here - these Pokemon are guardians. Do you get it?
[Not with that explination, Emmet. But he throws another Pokeball - at a tied up Baltoy. After a few shakes, the deed was done - Emmet had caught another Pokemon. He's gonna have a lot of them by the end of this.]

[With a slightly vindictive edge, he returns to ordering his Pokemon about. A fortuitous critical hit on a Sigilyph leaves it nearly fainted, and Miror snatches the oppurtunity to catch it. He notices that Snivy and Lotad are barely hanging on as well -- the attacking Pokemon must be higher level. That's somewhat concerning.] My Pokemon are at low health, darling; yours must be, too. These nasties are oh-so-overpowered. I'll create a diversion and we'll heal them up quickly. How's that sound?
[Without waiting for an answer, he points to Lotad.] Lotad, Mist! [A trained routine; The Lotad retreats towards Miror, releasing a fog. The Mist builds, filling the street around Miror B., Emmet, and all the Pokemon.]

[Emmet is sometimes an idiot. For example, now. Why would he use a Pokemon who'd just tried to hurt him? Well, why not? Other then the risk involved, of course. But you know Emmet... he doesn't care for the risk. He still thinks he's just how he was, back in his Unova. The bad feeling he's been feeling? He doesn't know why.
Anyhow, as the mist appeared around the two men, Emmet heard a shriek. It was his Joltik, getting struck by Rapid Spin. With a gasp, he withdrew it - before starting to rush off, in the direction of the Pokemon Center. His movements were calculated, as the singular Baltoy who'd used the move seemed to be locked on to him.]

Quickly, Miror recalls his two Pokemon. The Mist starts to dissipate without Lotad, but Miror is already rushing down the street alongside Emmet. The Pokemon Center is packed with scared, confused townspeople, all standing near the glass doors and watching the chaos outside. Miror scowls and pushes inside.] Out of the way! We are in such a hurry here. Move!
[He reaches the healing center and unceremoniously plonks his four Pokeballs on the counter. He looks up at the attending nurse, who seems quite frazzled and slow on the uptake.] Do be a dear and hurry up. [He watches impatiently as the nurse loads the Pokeballs into the machine, then wordlessly takes them when they're returned. He turns to Emmet.] Your turn! I'm dying to get back in the fray, darling; let's be quick!
no subject
Nope, the fact it was fun. Emmet kind of wished he had a weapon, so he could fight with his crew. As the balls finished being healed, Emmet grabbed them.] Come on! Let us go!
[Without waiting for an answer, he rushed outside, and released three of his Pokemon. He knew that he couldn't release all four - regulations, you see. Before him, Jolt, Arrow, and the un-named Golett stood. And then, the Golett turned to Emmet, eyes glowing...
And punched him. However, Emmet didn't flinch, or even show that he felt that. What.] You are mine now, Golett. We must protect ourselves. Yup. Now - attack the other Pokemon! The wild ones! The baaad ones!
no subject
[The Golett punched Emmet! Miror takes a step back, more puzzled by Emmet's lack of reaction than anything else. He didn't think Emmet was the kind of person to take a punch like that. Hmm. He slowly grins as Emmet commands the Golett, appreciating the subtle use of mind games. He releases his Lotad and Snivy as a pair of wild Goletts shamble forward.] Fuhohoho! Right, Snivy, Lotad; pick one and let's go! Snivy: Vine Whip, Lotad: Absorb! [He pulls a couple of empty Pokeballs out of his pocket. It may not be as easy as snagging, but being attacked by a swarm of rare Pokemon was taking a lot of the leg work out of catching Pokemon.]
no subject
He then looked to Miror B., and gave a smile. He was bleeding a bit - he did get a bit of that punch in the mouth - but he didn't seem to notice it himself.] How many do you think there are left?
