[May 7th. This is a special day for Grimsley. Not only because he's taking on Burgh on again, this time on the network.

It's also his birthday. So, he thinks he'll win! His Pokemon are overpowered! He looks proud, as he turns on his recording.]
This is how you battle, everybody. I'm going to beat Burgh... [...] in seven turns.
[He's already facing across from said Burgh. Burgh just shakes his head.]
Well then! Let us start, my fabulous! But do not underestimate my beautiful bugs!
Grr... go, Murkrow!
[As Grimsley sends out Murkrow, something looks odd about it. Murkrow looks a bit pudgey. Grimsley still doesn't know how to look after his Pokemon, it seems. Anyhow, Burgh sends out his Crustle.]
Murkrow! Wing Attack!
Now! My dear Crustle, Shell Smash!
[The Wing Attack struck the shell of the Crustle, as it leaped out - and without command, used a powerful Smack Down on Murkrow, knocking the bird to the ground straight away. A critical hit. But Grimsley shouted at Murkrow.]
Get up! Come on!
[Murkrow looked at him weakly, before trying to get up. However, Burgh looked rather threatening, as Crustle stood near to him.]
Crustle, another beautiful Smack Down should show him a lession!
[Crustle nodded, and smacked Murkrow down to the ground once more. The bird trembled, before fainting.

And then Grimsley turned off the feed. This was gonna be another loss.
It turns back on later, though. He's outside, and frowning - sitting at Unity Pier.]
Why does he always win? He can't be better then me - I know him! He's just a stupid kid!
[His Murkrow then comes up, holding a piece of paper. Grimsley snatches it, and...

It's a birthday card. Murkrow looks a bit happy, as he looks inside. Note that he did give the Xtransiever to Vic-man, so it is being filmed.

They tried their best. (The card's stolen, by the way. You know, taken by a Pokemon from one of those slightly outside stands.) Grimsley, however, frowns. He just doesn't know what to make of it. And then, a few tears start to come out. Grimsley starts to cry. He's not home for his birthday. He looks rather pathetic, really.]

... I see your Pokemon decided to return to you. [The last time he spoke to Grimsley was when the boy was lost in Pinwheel Forest with the rebelling ones.]
