[The video cuts on with Bill fumbling around with the camera, trying to find a steady position for it with one hand as the other is being used as a perch by a colorful little mess of feathers. Once the camera is settled, the Chatot has already started making its way up Bill's arm as if it was pretending to scale a mountain.]

Ah, hello! Does this little fellow belong to anyone? He seems very well socialized.

Back in the city proper at last it seems, though before he can even consider reaching the gym-

"Rnn..?" The audino and golett with him turn as well- spotting Bill with the Chatot.

"Awfully friendly that guy..." So mutters the Audino...

Otogi's a bit curious himself though and already venturing near.

[Chatot doesn't seem to wanna stay still, perching on Bill's shoulder one moment then deciding to make a nest out of his hair the next. It stops for a moment spotting the approaching Pokemon, though, drawing Bill's attention to them as well.]

Oh! Hello there. Is he one of your friends? [He gestures up at Chatot in its hair-nest, who decides now is apparently not the time to just answer the question himself.]

"...!" Ah... He quickly shakes his head. That's a no!

Audino in the meantime does the questioning. "Oii oiii... What are you even doing..."

No? [Bill looks confused for a moment, but Chatot speaks up.]

Even Audino is speechless. Wing of friendship? What?

[Chatot fluffs himself up, looking a little indignant, then finally switches over to his native tongue.]

The response is staring, directly at the Chatot, before all three wordlessly nod. (Though Otogi's is a little less obvious...)

Golett blinks. "...Confusing..."

[Chatot huffs, nestling further into the hair-nest.]

What a let down! Nonetheless he hurriedly nods, before grabbing his transceiver and typing.

Ah- sorry. I'm fine, yes. I can't speak though- sorry for any confusion.

Another head shake. No- the only pokemon with me are Audino and Golett. He seems quite attached to you for some reason though, he adds, frowning somewhat after the message is typed.

Mm, it is a little strange. Even well-socialized he shouldn't be this comfortable with a stranger. [He's met Pokemon that have been coddled to the point of trusting almost anyone, but just because the mindset exists doesn't mean it's a smart one.]

Glad he didn't end up sticking to someone less desirable, though.

[N is wandering nearby, trying to explore the city with a cleared mind now that he's spent some time away from it. He sees Bill and inwardly debates approaching for a greeting. Once he hears the questioning about the Chatot, he approaches with a sense of purpose.]

Hmm-- I'm afraid I wouldn't know. He is rather eloquent, though. [He smiles a little.]

[Bill smiles right back, caught mid-greeting nod before Chatot decides his ear is the perfect stepping stone for climbing up onto his head.]

[N watches the Chatot carefully. Speaking of books...] I have read about Chatot before. Its voice does sound very human, doesn't it? I would ask it if it wished for us to help find its trainer, but it seems more willing to speak in this voice instead of its own... [Which apparently unnerves him somewhat.]

I've tried asking him outright, but all he does is give very vivid descriptions of jungles.
