Second Labyrinth - [Video/Action Sky Arrow Bridge]

The screen blinks to life, with Homura sitting on a guardrail, she makes sure the camera captures the night sky, the sparkling sea, and the elegance of the bridge.

How marvelous.

"It's beautiful, isn't it?" Homura commented to no one in particular. "I could simply sit here all day instead of worrying about the next battle to return home. Unfortunately this cannot be the case."

The puella magi quickly jumps back onto the footpath.

"Are you all too interested in going back home? I quite am in some cases. Though there are quite some remarkable places in this country I would have to admit. Would you not agree?" Homura spoke to the screen, before continuing her walk back to Castelia.

I...I am. There's something I have to do...

[Subaru looks worried when he hears this question. He does want to go back, desperately. But everything just feels too vague for him to make any real leads, sometimes.]

"Oh? So you have a goal in mind when you arrive back, do you?" Homura replied, simply walking toward Castelia.

"That's good. As long as you have a purpose you can dedicate yourself to, nothing will be in vain."

Mm...I can see why you say that. It helps to have direction in your life...

[There's a speculative expression on his face, even as he's browsing in Nacrene's stores for anything that could help replenish his supplies.]

"Goals are usually worth living for," Homura nodded.

"Did you already receive your second badge?" the puella magi inquired.

Badge...? No...I'm not collecting them. Not just yet.

[How odd, considering he was so insistent on getting home.]

[trainerhomu]

"Hm, well, there might be other methods in proving your worth to this Entree," Homura mused. "It would be quite unfair to have us all simply battle the gym leaders against our will."

Mmm. Besides, just because the Entralink reacts to badges doesn't mean it'll send us home. And if the Champion is still hostile to us...I'm not sure if I want to seek help from the unwilling if it's possible. I'm sticking to my original plan for now...

[trainerhomu]

"Yes, there might be something else of worth that might be an acceptable substitute," Homura suggested.

"Oh? Original plan?"

Mmm. I came here when I exited a Noise Wave...so it makes me wonder if I could find it again. But the technology I have with me doesn't have enough of it's power source, Denpa...

[He chuckles a bit.] I've found some hints that there might be sources of Denpa here, though, so I want to investigate places with strange legends or powers around them. I might find some Denpa there.

"Denpa? ....Electromagneticism, perhaps?" Homura inquired, thinking of what the energy could be.

Mmm, I think that's what they call it in this language? [a.k.a. engrish. Yay.] The Pokemon I received when I got here, Riolu...it's said that they sense 'Aura,' but it looks like they can sense Denpa as well-or maybe Aura is a kind of Denpa! If they've evolved to sense such kinds of energy, then there must be a source of it somewhere, right?

"Hmmm... I've heard of a cave with lots of electromagnetism to the northwest before, perhaps you should aim for there?" Homura suggested.

That's what I was considering as well! I'm closer to the ruins at the moment, though, so I figured I'd explore the Desert Resort first.

[trainerhomu]

"Those are the ones north of the city I'm going to, correct? Perhaps I could meet you there, or perhaps not," Homura remarked, shrugging.

"Akemi Homura." A name given as an afterthought. Though she seemed a bit worried about her rudeness in not introducing herself properly.

If you're headed to Castelia, yeah, it is! I just got to Nacrene, though, so I've still got a ways to go, aha...

[And then he gives a little "oh!" when he realizes he's failed to introduce himself as well. No offense taken, Homura!]

Ah, it's good to meet you. I'm Hoshikawa Subaru!

"Hm, I wish you all the luck then, Subaru," Homura nodded. Wow first name basis already.

[That does startle him a bit, but he does nod back.]

You too, Akemi-san... [He'll get to first name basis...eventually. He's just a polite child.]

"See you around."

The feed closes off at this point.

"Of course I need to go home!"
Right now, she's training for her gym match, VS Skyla.

She also has a pilot helmet which looks just like Skyla's on - goggles down and everything. And she's just knocked out a wild Pokemon on Route 7, too.
"Even if I'm not sure I want to, they need me."

"Oh? Is it more a sense of obligation then? Though lending your power to those who need it is a correct choice," Homura mused, leaning against a railing and looking at the night sky.

"Just don't misuse that strength."

Iris sighed a little.
"...There's one person I made a promise to back home. And I'll never break that promise. That's my strength, and I'm not going to lose it!"
She wanted to fix her mistake - fix what happened to Skyla, as well as make sure the world was saved. Nothing big.
And then she looked to the side. "Are you aiming to get home?"

"Promises are always within the realm of possibility. Mm," Homura nodded slightly.

"Yes, there are still things I must do back there. Even though my goal has been reached, there are responsibilities I must uphold," Homura replied somberly.
