Action for Team Snazzclothes/Anybody else in Accumula IF YOU WANT.........

Ah! Accumula! It...

It...

It wasn't really the sort of place Emmet liked. It was quiet, but Anville was quieter and nicer. Because it had trains. But... he had to travel though here, with his new partner, Miror B.. Why? Because he seemed like he'd be fun to travel with. He'd already been a criminal! That was exciting. And he got a Zigzagoon out of the whole ordeal - even if he'd never seen a Zigzagoon before, that was also exciting. They could be good Pokemon - and, if not, Emmet could always abandon it and get a Pokemon more suited to his Double Battles.

But, as for now, as he entered the town? He had his normal depry smile on, his Zigzagoon (Arrow) poking out of his hat, and his Joltik (Jolt) resting peacefully on top of his hat. A tower of Pokemon, basically. And then - a yawn. "I am Emmet, and I am tired." He declaired, mostly to himself. He then looked around... hm. He almost got the feeling he was going to meet somebody who he'd be with for a while. But... Emmet got that feeling a lot. And it would only be a short while, anyway, if he did meet somebody. Maybe 50 years? Maybe 100? Oh well, he didn't need to think of it right now. He did, however, turn to his partner - Miror B..

"This is a small city - it is a town. There is not much here. But it will be good to rest in, for now," he confirmed, with a smile. "Shall we go to the Pokemon Center? Arrow and Jolt are tired. Are you tired?"

Miror B. looked at Accumula Town critically, comparing it to places he knew in Orre. It was indeed a sleepy place, and not in the underground-criminal-society kind of way that Pyrite Town was. More like that glorified retirement home, Agate Village. Miror found himself hating it immediately.

He turned to Emmet, who was wearing two Pokemon on his head of all the ridiculous things. He glanced at them in subtle disapproval before addressing the Subway Boss. "Not much at all here, you're very right, darling. But yes, let's do go to the Pokemon Center." He shrugged his shoulders languidly as he looked at the town again. "I am a bit tired now that you mention it. Such a very long walk, and so many wild Pokemon just... wandering about. Oh, I know Orre's the exception, not having wild Pokemon, but still."

Anyway, the Pokemon Center was where he was going to meet up with Facilier, or at least give him a call if he didn't live up to his claim of showing up when needed. This was the right time for him to show up, anyway. And even if he didn't think the Center was a very good place to actally discuss anything, (it was much too public), it was the only building he had known for sure Accumula would have, and thus the only one he had known to tell Facilier to look for. It would do as a meeting place, at least, and he did need to heal his Pokemon. Their training was coming along nicely what with all the wild Pokemon to fight.

The Pokémon Center, much unlike the rest of the town, actually had... Activity? Incredible, wasn't it! Especially when one cut through the (admittedly sparse) crowd and saw the reasoning behind it. Shuffling his deck of tarot cards and right as rain, Dr. Facilier was perched at a table he has charmed the local Nurse Joy into letting him set up in the corner.

Sitting across from him, one of the citizens of Accumula seemed entranced by his mastery of the cards, taking three offered cards on request. Facilier chuckled his low chuckle and spread them, proceeding to read. Ah, how the young woman's face had changed when he accurately nailed that she had just gotten out of a bad situation [he read from her face, not the cards, that it had been a relationship] and that she was staying here with family [parents, from how she regarded them]. When it came to her future, he gave his usual vague predictions and sent her on her way with a heart full of hope and more than a few coins lining his pockets.

Upon spotting Miror B.'s distinctive afro through the crowd [really, all it took was a quick glance], Facilier grinned. His shadow darted out from under the table and snagged the disco dancer's... shadow's sleeve, pulling him gently forward. It wasn't that he was ignoring Emmet, merely that he hadn't recognized him.

"Gentlemen," he greeted as both stepped forward, relaxing at his table as he again took to shuffling the cards. "How y'all doin'?"

Miror B. looked genuinely pleased to see Facilier already at the Pokemon Center, and laughed when the shadow tugged at his 'sleeve'. He swept up elegantly to the table, shooing off whoever was next in line to have their fortune read with a dismissive waving of his hand.

"Nice to see you've settled in well, darling," he said, tilting his head towards the small crowd who were now slowly dispersing in confusion. He sat down in the empty chair, his legs crossed off the side of it and elbow on the table. He gestured towards Emmet. "This is Emmet. He is a Subway Boss, which he'd probably love to tell you about. Emmet, this is... oh, so many names! This is Doctor Robert Facilier. Have I got them all?" He flashed a grin towards Facilier. "He's another member of the Team, you know."

[identity profile] shadowfacilier.livejournal.com 2011-08-27 03:17 am (UTC)(link)
"Sorry, chaps," Facilier addressed to the crowd as Miror and Emmet came forward, "I've got a little business to attend to."

To the subway boss, he tipped his hat in greeting. "I'm doin' just dandy," he grinned, already liking his upbeat style of speech. Ooh, he looked like an easy one to dupe-

Well, except for the fact that he was in the team. Ah well~ "As always, a pleasure to see you again, Miror B. And Emmet? My, what a charming man you are. Yet another pleasure to meet you."

Once the crowd had dispersed a little more, the doctor leaned in and lowered his voice, still shuffling his cards and with his shadow mimicking the motion. "So, it seems you two have been getting along well, too? Might I say, sleepy little towns such as this create a big stir when they see a little something extraordinary." So easy to make a spectacle of yourself! A little bit of theatrics...

"Any plans for us in the near future, my man?" Of course, directed at Miror.

Miror B. watched Facilier as the Shadow Man spoke to Emmet, giving a small grin of approval. The two men -- Miror and Facilier -- were alike enough that Miror could guess what Facilier'd been thinking about Emmet before being properly introduced, and it amused him. "Emmet is oh-so-familiar with Unova," he said casually, giving Facilier a subtle look by way of explanation.

When Facilier leaned in, Miror straightened in his chair. He pulled a Pokeball, specifically the stolen one, from his pocket and rolled it about on the table with his fingers. "Oh yes, we had a splendid time in Nuvema. Had to leave in a rush, though." He chuckled. When Facilier asked about plans he leaned back and smiled, looking as though he were about to say something important. But then Emmet spoke.

He gave Emmet a somewhat dark look, although he chased it quickly with his usual grin. "Well, of course he is, darling. You both are," he added firmly, looking straight at Emmet. "We need the good Doctor's help, you know."

Ah, so the one in white had his doubts? Hm hm hm~ The doctor kept an eye on Emmet, even as Miror brought out the now-familiar red and white Pokéball. "Sounds like the two of you've already had quite the adventure, hmm~?" Ah, a pause to kick his feet up. "Meanwhile, I've made myself nice and comfortable over here. The people in Unova are so generous."

And by 'generous', chances are he meant 'easy to trick'.

"Team Miror B. seems like quite the snazzy sort, gentlemen. Why, with our style, one would think that a hasty retreat wouldn't even be necessary."

Miror B. watched Emmet carefully for a moment or two more, then looked back to Facilier. Slightly annoyed by Facilier's question, he stopped rolling the stolen Pokeball and held it still on the table. "Emmet is oh-so-right, darling; there's no need to be overly conspicuous just yet." He studied Facilier for a moment from behind his glasses. After the brief silence, he rapped his knuckles on the table in a short, sharp beat.

"You know, darling, I wasn't kidding when I said Pokemon were power here. I used to have quite the lovely collection myself -- all very strong Pokemon -- but they were oh-so-rudely stolen when I got here." He nodded once towards Emmet. "And I'm sure Emmet did, too. Without Pokemon we've hardly any say at all in our future success. Our goal, my friends, is to get more Pokemon."

Miror looked off to the side. There weren't any more curious bystanders, but still there were quite a few people milling about. He lowered his voice a bit and leaned into the table. "There are oh-so-many ways to achieve that, and I have done, oh, all of them at one time or another. But!" He steepled his fingers thoughtfully, holding the stolen Pokeball against his palm. "I will require both of your, hm... skill-sets to push forward, darlings."

horrid abuse of liquid time go! ;u;/

A bother? No, no, not at all. Facilier seemed more amused by Emmet's distrust than anything. And, my, the tricks they did with their Pokémon - the good doctor had seen his shadow go against what seemed to be a malformed dog and come out fairly victorious- but only through its trickery. Who knew why it couldn't touch the little mutt! But, ah, the manipulation of objects around it... That was a different story.

"So that's it, then? Almost deceptively easy. Snag some Pokémon from unsuspecting trainers?" The thought of his comparable fortune made with his tarot cards alone brought that thin, growing smirk back to surface. "Why, almost as simple as being a petty pickpocket. But, ah..."

A pause as he leaned back against his borrowed chair. "Unless I'm mistaken, we won't find any gems in this small town. No rich cats prowl around the sleepy places. I figure it's the same for, er, strength." A glance to Emmet and Miror, waiting to see if his assumption would hold true.

"Lay it on us, bossman."

DON'T QUESTION IT! it's magic!

[identity profile] pokeball-afro.livejournal.com 2011-09-21 05:19 pm (UTC)(link)
Miror grinned broadly and leaned back in his chair, lifting his arms to the side dramatically. "Exactly! Snag some Pokémon." He seemed very amused by Facilier's choice of words. "It's oh-so-easy when they're inside their Pokéballs." He held Snivy's Pokéball out demonstratively.

He fell silent when Facilier described the faults of a sleepy town, smiling vaguely at the Shadow Man's insight. It was rare to find such competence! And Emmet agreed, which was good. "Not mistaken at all, Doc. That's a good point. Luckily, I don't plan on us staying here much longer." Miror pocketed the Pokéball and glanced around the Pokécenter, his face showing disapproval.

"Next up is Striaton City, which, to my understanding, is a much more legitimate place. First gym's there, which means real trainers will be there, too." He gave Facilier an appraising look. "I'm not sure how you operate, darling, but you're welcome to hold off doing anything until Striaton if you want. It is kind of a waste of time in Accumula."
