[Video] Information Request: Mysterious Organization
[Right before most people would be heading to bed, those who check their video feeds see an indication of a broadcast/message. A dark silhouette appears on the screen. A face veiled by a full mask with pointed ears and stitches outlining the eyes. Inside her mind, she was nervous. Not being skilled with words, she had gone over what she had wanted to say in her mind, and thought back to her lessons... but she could not hesitate any longer. Without so much as moving, a voice behind the mask speaks.]
This is Batgirl. I know what I am about to say may put my search; as well as my future actions at risk. However... it has become clear to me that even with training, I know little of this world. I should not... take action on my own. So I speak to you all today to share information, as well as my help if anyone else is pursuing the same goals.
[She suddenly shifts out of frame to reveal a simple building's rooftop, where a Sableye was repeatedly striking at a Natu as it attempted to flutter out of the way. Batgirl then turns the camera back to her masked face.]
Since I arrived here, I have been training against the wild Pokemon in the area; as well as teaching the two in my care to the best of my abilities. While my own skills may be useful... it is clear that Pokemon are key in this world.
As many of you are aware, there was a group a while ago. A man with a partial mask, he spoke of liberation; but I believe their may be something beneath what he said. There was a Pokemon creature there, it had what seemed to be blades not only on its head, but also two protruding from its stomach area. It was humanoid enough that I could read it's actions; even though it looked still.
It was not the pose of a simple peaceful guard.
I have more observations. But for now I will simply ask anyone with more information about this group to please contact me. And for those like me from other worlds; I would advise caution if you encounter this group.
[And then, without any sort of formal closing, the turns off the feed. She stares up at the moon from her vantage point on the strange blue roof of the building she was using as the base of her very limited operations. She had discovered the strange building nearby was called a "Pokemon Center" and would heal her Pokemon without cost if they became fatigued, and were open all night so she could avoid suspicion. The building she was 'living on' also seemed to be a restaurant of some kind, and as such, leftover food was easy to come by, and even left out, presumably for some nearby Pokemon, at night. For now though, she waits for communications from others, hopefully communication which would lead to information she could use.]

That Pokemon is called Bisharp. They're known for their ruthless power.
[That's the species. But he was willing to share more, at least about the Team Plasma he knew of. That's what a traitor did, after all.]
Re: [Video]
"Bisharp"... I will learn more about it in case it becomes an opponent my team needs to face in the future. Thank you. It certainly looked... ruthless, as you said. Do you know?... Does this group use usually use creatures considered ruthless? And is there any method to dealing with ruthless Pokemon as opposed to ruthless humans?
[She realizes she is simply asking questions; but she figured due to what was said, that this person is either from a world with Pokemon, like N; or at least has a large knowledge of their habits and natures.]
Re: [Video]
The best way to deal with them is to paralyze them. If they're affected like that, they'll be easy to defeat.
[He's had to make his own plans, after all. In case another trainer had them, of course. Not to fight his Lord. He couldn't fight Lord Ghetsis. (Note that he did watch the presentation which was recorded, during his first days awake here - he wanted to survey what was going on, after all. So that's how he knows who's being talked about.)]
Re: [Video]
I see. I will attempt to teach the Pokemon under my care how to stop movement; but it may be beyond their abilities. [She pauses for a moment, switching subjects slightly]
But why would an group who's goal seems to be liberating Pokemon from human control seek to obtain powerful Pokemon as part of their goals? Do they not use the Pokeballs like most people in this world?
That... that is not the true goal of Team Plasma.
Re: [Video]
So, you are from a world where these events have happened as well? If, the goal they speak is a lie, what are they truly after?
Re: [Video]
...Yes, this is a different world.
Perhaps his loyalty can be regained... and this would not help, telling people of his own side of the story. Telling people of his lord... and his goals.
What if they were different?
What if they were for the good of Pokemon, in this reality?
Cilan shook his head - and, you might get a glimpse of a sleeping Bulbasaur behind him, with a slight nick out of one ear. Hmm.
And then his expression hardened.]
What are your goals, in regard to Team Plasma.
Re: [Video]
Team Plasma could be a danger to those in this world. For now, my goal is to find them and observe their activities. If they are indeed a threat... [she pauses, and takes a moment to think of what she would do if this group seemed like they could cause harm to those on this world]
If they are a threat, I will find a way to stop them. Preferably with allies, but alone if I have to.
However, his smile disappears as soon as she begins talking about the Striaton speech. He's silent for a brief time before he answers.] The Pokemon you described is called Bisharp. It is under that man-- Ghetsis' command.
You are correct in your assumptions. Team Plasma is an organization one should meet with caution. Most of the members are little more than grunts, but Ghetsis can be ruthless if met with opposition. That is why he had Bisharp at the ready, I think-- he would not hesitate to cut down any protestors. [He stops himself there, but it's apparent he knows more.]
Re: [video]
Ghetsis... Although you told me that this world was not without darkness, your description of him is cause for concern. [She pauses for a bit, unsure of how much to press N for more information.]
How much more can you tell me about Team Plasma and their leader? I have received information regarding how to deal with their Pokemon; and it seems my partners and I must continue training... But the people involved seem to be the primary concern. The group seems suspicious, but do they present a real threat to the humans and Pokemon of this world?
Team Plasma claims its goal is to separate humans from Pokemon. In theory, that is a threat to this world as a whole, but I believe we have time before it becomes a sizable one. Hopefully, enough to prepare for what may come. [He sighs heavily and averts his eyes.] Ghetsis is the leader-- the one behind it all, though... there is another that may be cause for worry...
Re: [video]
If he has caused you and others pain, I will make it my goal while in this world to stop those events from happening to the same extent.
[Trying to piece what she could remember from her dream experience, she knew N had said he had experienced some events that were happening before; and had been able to change them only with limited success. While in the back of her mind she wondered how much more she could do; this goal seemed most in line with her training, not to mention her personal desires.]
From your descriptions, I have dealt with people like Ghetsis before. I will train my Pokemon accordingly.
[Replaying N's expression in her mind, she hesitates before continuing. Whoever this shadow leader may be, it obviously was a painful memory for N. She, felt sympathy, and knew if she would not be easily able to describe Lady Shiva to another. Still, she felt a desire to be as prepared as possible, taking Batman's primary tactic to heart. Still... given the secure video feed, she pulls down her cowl and speaks with as calm a tone as possible while retaining the seriousness of the subject matter.]
What... can you tell me of the other who may be cause for concern? Will they be as easy to locate as the rest of Team Plasma, or will an additional plan be needed?
[He thinks for a moment, carefully formulating his words.] Given that he-- or at least, some version of him-- exists in this world, I'm afraid he should not be as easy to locate. He doesn't attend the speeches as frequently as other members, and, when he does, he tends to instead stay away-- blend into the background. He keeps his affiliation with the team quiet, but he does preach the same values when confronted. [A pause.] Occasionally, he tests trainers that interest him by battling them, or by giving his own speeches. So, perhaps you've already met him. [Considering that he's trying to give Cassandra as much information on the team as possible, he knows he should probably just come out and tell her that he's talking about himself. But he can't quite bring himself to. A part of him hopes that if he just keeps hinting at his identity like this, she'll figure it out herself.]
Re: [video]
[She pauses, taking in most, if not all of N's message. She knows she could press for confirmation of her suspicion, but figures silence would be the best course of action, or at least... an attempt at sensitivity despite the serious threat Team Plasma seemed to be. She slowly nods and gives an almost sad look before continuing.]
N... I know everything in this world is not exactly the same as the one you knew. But I would at least like to monitor their activity. If certain events are repeating, do you know where Team Plasma will act next? [She hesitates, trying to piece together in her mind how to word her next request for information considering N's probable connection to this group.]
If so... I can search shadows easily; do you think I should attempt to confront the shadow leader you speak of?
He looks away again for a moment, thinking.] ... I think you could try. He's closed-minded, conditioned so far that he's blind to the truth. So perhaps he won't listen, but... there is a chance. After all, in my world, it was just a single trainer that gave him doubt in his own convictions.
Re: [video]
If I encounter him I will do my best to make him listen; but from I believe for the time being it might be best for me to focus on finding Team Plasma to learn more.
[Cassandra relaxes her tone a bit, as she believes that even if N knows more, perhaps it wasn't best to press for too much. If an emergency came up where she needed more information, she could always contact him directly.]
Although there have been changes already, it might be best for me to start searching at Nacrene City if I cannot soon find any information to tell me they will appear somewhere else. Is there anything I should look into in this town while I am still here?
Well... Have you taken a look at the gym? You could challenge it, if that is something that intrigues you. In this world, people seem to take you more seriously if you have gym badges. [He smiles knowingly.] Perhaps you could obtain more information that way?
Re: [video]
somewhat embarrassed, she opens the communication function again.]
I have... located the gym. Thank you. I will obtain the badge, see if there is any further information here, and then head to Nacrene. Are there any unmarked dangers between here and there?
Good luck to you, then! I obtained the badge myself some time ago-- Do not be afraid to ask me for advice about it. Or for a battle. I believe I'll be staying in Striaton for a few more days at least.
[He pauses as he tries to remember back to the geography around Nacrene.] Not that I know of. You need only to pass through Route 3 to get to the Nacrene City. ... Oh! It's not a danger, not is it unmarked, but Wellspring Cave in located on Route 3. It is a habitat for the Pokemon Woobat-- perhaps you'd like to see it. [He grins, remembering the portion of Cassandra's dream that involved the bat Pokemon. He pauses again.] There is also a preschool, which... I suppose could be a danger if you are unaccustomed to children?
Re: [video]
[She pauses and tries to suppress a somewhat nervous sigh.]
As far as your offer for advice... What exactly should I expect from this battle? I have only faced wild Pokemon to help my Pokemon train, and have yet to engage a human foe. Of course I expect it to be more challenging, but could you share any specifics about the challenge of this "gym"?
