1st Shooting Star - Not quite where they expected to end up...[action]

Today was just one strange event after another. He had expected that stepping out of that Noise Wave would have led him to Meteor G, so he could destroy it. But instead, he ended up in some sort of...forest clearing. And it kept him and War-Rock from becoming Rockman again, so there was no way he could find the Noise Wave again...or open it, apparently. There was no Wave World here. His Hunter wouldn't work...how could he contact anyone?

Then there was the meeting with that...odd creature, that was somehow able to see War-Rock. And it kept following them, the stubborn thing. And then that old man who gave him the backpack and the...information. The thing was a Riolu, now his Pokemon (how, what, he never had a pet before, how would he take care of it?) and that he was stuck in this other world (other world?!) until further notice (but, they had to stop Meteor G-they had to get back!).

But, no amount of cajoling or pleading would make the situation any better, so he had to go along with it. So, with the newly nicknamed Rocky ("it can see you, and it looks kind of like you, so why not call it a little you, War-Rock?"), and his supplies, he chose to take the portal into Nuvema Town. It sounded more friendly, anyways, and safer...perhaps maybe he could find a way to power his Hunter at the lab that was apparently there, so he could communicate with his friends. The new...Xtransiever, he thought it was called, didn't seem to be able to reach them, anyways.

Only...this doesn't look like Nuvema Town. Or, at least, he doesn't think it does. It was a small little town, right? It doesn't look like...wherever this place was.

"E-eh?! Where are we now, War-Rock?"

To most people, it looks like he's talking to thin air. They might or might not hear the response to his question, either.

"Don't ask me, kid. You're not the only one who's gotten confused by all this jumping around."

[[ooc: So yeah, intropost? Took me a while to figure out what I should do in the middle of the event, but basically, this guy and his pet invisible radio alien have just walked into somebody's dream! Who's dream? Well, whomever replies, I suppose! It could be anyone!]]

Subaru is internally trying not to panic.

"So it would seem... Though it is unclear as to why."

"Mmmn...it's almost like a dream...I'm still not convinced if I'm still not dreaming, myself..."

"...A dream?" ...You're going to have to clarify.

"Well, when people sleep, they dream about things. It's like you're going through a story while you're asleep...we don't really understand why it happens..."

"...I do not sleep." ...Far as he is aware at least.

"Eh? You don't need to like, recharge or anything? Even I go into Sleep Mode every now and then!"

"But, to constantly process and function without a state of rest..."

It makes no sense to little Subaru at all.

"Uh-huh! You'd wear yourself out, otherwise! That's how it works on Earth, at least!"

"I do not seem to feel any affects similar to that. The closest thing would be within a duel, but otherwise, I don't see how I am 'wearing myself out' as you put it."

"Nnn...how strange. You really not must be from Earth's dimension at all, if you don't follow the laws of nature..."

"I was not aware that was one- though I suppose since so many creatures require 'sleep' of some kind, it is only logical."

"It's less sleep and more 'rest,' but it's the same idea..."

"Hnn... I will have to think about it more..."

"After we get out, right?"

"Yes- that would be best. Perhaps Yuuma can contact you."

"Hm? How?"

Somebody hasn't explored all the features on their Xtransiever yet.

"The XTransceiver is a device used for communication- It has the ability to make video-phone calls, as well as ordinary voice calls or text messages."

"Ah...do I need to enter in a phone number, or..."

And looking through the Xtransceiver properly now. It...kind of reminds him of his Hunter, actually.

"That seems to vary. I suppose it would be possible to enter a specific number, but for the most part, many people appear to use 'live feeds' with no particular target."

"Ah..." It takes Subaru a few minutes to figure out how to set up a live feed, but once he does...

"Testing...testing...Yuuma-kun? Are you there?"
