So the first thing Jade had done when she'd left the Entralink for Nimbasa was find the ferris wheel. The whole amusement park area was pretty stunning, honestly, but it was the ferris wheel that caught her attention first. She's seen ferris wheels before, of course, but only as pictures on her computer—you can only get so far and do so much when you live alone on some deserted island somewhere smack-dab in the middle of the Pacific, after all! And so of course the first thing she did was run over and go to ask how to take a ride.

...Except, as it turned out, all of the seats were dual-riders and, no, her Growlithe did not count as a second passenger and no, she wasn't going to be allowed on by herself.

Who knew being allowed on ferris wheels was such a complicated process?

And so she took a seat on one of the benches beside the ferris wheel and sulked with her Growlithe in her lap. It wasn't like she actually knew anyone here; she had just arrived and had been so eager to start her adventure that she barely spent any time in the Entralink! But if someone were to pass by on their own, she decided, maybe she could ask them to ride with her! Who didn't like ferris wheels, after all? And it would be a great way to get to know people!

There we go, she thought, perfect plan! Good Jade, best ideas.
