Fourth Roll - Nacrene Gym! [Action]

Audino was probably right in deciding he was ready for the gym. In fact, he insisted that it had 'taken them long enough' when Otogi finally said so, and the group headed toward Nacrene proper. Audino himself was plenty strong enough...

He just had... Such a temper...

"OIIIIIII!! What's that you just said about my voice..!?!"

The Cinccino across from him snorted, dodging the audino's enraged punches with ease. "I said it was worse than the sound of a hoarse Murkrow. That's what."

Another punch, and another miss. "LIKE HECK IT IS..!!!"

"Your words do nothing to change my mind."

"RAAAAAAAAAAA- -GLHk-"

Otogi resisted the urge to slam a hand against his face as Audino was launched back, sighing as the pokemon failed to move. A look down to Golett, and the little rock pokemon moved forward.

"Oho... The hoarse one is replaced by stone..?" The Cinccino laughed, apparently trying to use similar tactics on Golett as she had the Audino before her.

Quite obviously, it didn't work, and a few dynamic punches that really weren't very dynamic sounding when coming from a monotoned and possibly depressed Golett won them the badge.

"Hahhhhh... We did warn you," Otogi muttered in the aftermath, Lenora momentarily distracted with recalling her own pokemon and gathering the prize.

Audino for his part, managed to at least attempt to look a little dignified. "Blaaaaaaahhhh" Key word attempt.

Lenora quickly returned, badge and prize in hand. "Whoo! That was one interesting battle..!" she laughed, Otogi merely smiling in response. "A mute trainer... They listen very well despite the lack of commands- you must have a strong sense of trust between you all I bet."

Another smile was the response, and the badge and things were passed over. "I ought to send word to Burgh- you'll be taking the rest of the gyms on right?" A nod, and Lenora continued. "Glad to hear it! You take care while going through the forest then alright? Don't stray too far from the path!"

More nodding- and a bit more onesided conversation later and Otogi can be found with Audino outside the Pokemon Center. "You alright now..?"

"BAH."

[ ...a sudden burst of static reveals a stray receiver to be laying on its side beneath the claw of a wild Pidgey. Hoping off, a triumphant quoo is spat almost mockingly at a trainer that's clad largely in black. It beats its wings as it prepares to take off, but it's interrupted by the attack of a Purrloin. It's then that finally the trainer steps into view. Sebastian retrieves his receiver with a sigh, taking out a handkerchief to clean it up as the battle rages on off screen. ]

I want to apologize for the interruption. It appears that the hostiles occupying the tall grass here have a penchant for shiny objects...

[ He trails off as his focus returns to the battle at hand. ]

Bel, dodge to the right... now! and jump! Scratch attack.

[ But now it's Sebastian's turn to dodge. He leaps back to avoid being caught up in the wild Pidgey's sand attack. He compliments her actions and her precision as he calls her back to his side, a pokéball thrown out to capture the Pidgey and end the battle. He stoops down to let Bel climb up his arm and reclaim her perch on his shoulder as he collects the pokéball. ]
