Attack of the Munna [video/action]
Takashi was walking along, trying to find out new information about this new world. He was too shy to ask anyone for information, so it was just him and Meowth for the time being. Something up ahead caught his attention - it looked like a pink blob floating in midair. His blood ran cold - so far he hadn't seen any spirits in this world, but it was probably just a matter of time. He slowly approached it, getting ready to run if something happened. The blob turned abruptly and faced him, blinking its large red eyes. "Munna?" It had the "look" of a Pokemon to it, so Takashi relaxed a little.
"A floating Pokemon? I didn't know they could do that.." He glanced over at his Meowth, who seemed like a pretty typical cat so far. Who knew what he was hiding though? He turned his attention back to the Munna and reached out to pat it. Suddenly, it let out a loud cry and the bushes around him startled rustling. A sea of pink flooded his vision as an entire herd of the Pokemon burst out of the bushes and swarmed around him, clinging to him. He screamed and pushed them off, then turned tail and ran with the blobs hot in pursuit. "Help!"

Shizuo grabbed Takashi by the hood of his hoodie when he ran past and casually tossed the child into some nearby bushes. Hopefully the wave of pink Pokemon wouldn't notice that their target had suddenly moved. Mob mentality could really be something.

He lectures because he CARES
"Just be careful from now on, okay?" Shizuo didn't want to have to go saving this kid's ass every time he decided to touch a strange Pokemon.
Re: He lectures because he CARES
"By the way, what's your name? My name is Natsume Takashi." He introduced himself. They kept running into each other, so may as well.
Social skillz.
Re: Social skillz.
"So uh, how long have you been in this world..?"
IC time I mean
"About a week." Which was a week too long for Shizuo's taste. He hadn't been able to find a way out yet, and everyone insisted that there was no way out. He tried not to think about it very much; the idea of being trapped against his will pissed him off.
Shizuo's Growlithe growled at the Meowth and spat out a few balls of fire at it, purposefully missing by a few hairs. He then lifted his head higher, looking quite satisfied, and splashed over to play less dangerously with his trainer's Petilil.
Re: IC time I mean
"MEOWTH!" The cat-Pokemon yowled even though he wasn't hit. He puffed up his fur and was about to chase after the Growlithe, that is, until he touched the water with his front paw. He drew it back quickly and sat back down on the edge of the fountain with a sullen look on his face. "Meowth." It seemed that getting wet wasn't worth it.

His Growlithe was feeling too mischievous at the moment to obey. "Growl!" He gave Takashi's Meowth a devious grin and began splashing about in the fountain wildly, making certain that some of the water drenched the cat Pokemon. Shizuo's Petilil, not appreciating the waves that were being made, clambered out of the fountain and tottered to Shizuo's side.

Takashi laughed a little at the antics of the Pokemon. As long as they weren't really hurting each other, it was fine. "Hi there." He told the little plant type thing with a wave. This was his first time seeing it - if it had been with Shizuo during their last encounter, he hadn't noticed.

"Hey!" Shizuo shouted at his Growlithe, throwing an arm over his head in a futile attempt to keep from getting wet. The Growlithe stopped to give him a glance before going back to playing with Takashi's Meowth. Shizuo scowled as he looked down at the wet spots forming on his already abused outfit. He didn't want to, but it looked like he might have to buy new clothing soon. "Damn dog," he spat, taking out a cigarette. For some reason Shizuo couldn't bring himself to get too upset over it.
His Petilil merely looked at Takashi with a blank stare, not seeming too interested in the boy. After a moment, she wiggled a leaf half-heartedly in greeting.

"I guess dogs are the same anywhere you go, huh?" The same couldn't be said of plants though, judging by the fact that there were plant-animal hybrids wandering around.
This is pretty much the extent of Growlithe's training
"Heh. I guess so," Shizuo said, amused. He waved his cigarette at his Growlithe. "Light this, will you?" He had run out of lighter fluid recently, and a Pokemon that could shoot fire really came in handy.
"Growl!"
One well-aimed ember later, Shizuo was taking a satisfied drag on the cigarette. "Thanks."
Re: This is pretty much the extent of Growlithe's training
"Do you have more Pokemon besides those two?" He asked Shizuo.

Meowth seemed rather on edge though. He squirmed free and then climbed on Takashi's arm, up his shoulder and looked peered down his back. His ears flattened and he growled. "Eh? What's the matter?" Takashi couldn't see it, but Meowth could - one of those pink Pokemon was clinging to his back.

"You again?" He hadn't seen the Pokemon appear. This world didn't seem as dangerous as his own was, but being caught off guard by a possible enemy was never a good thing.
"It's one of the Pokemon from before." He wondered why it came back instead of following the herd. At least it wasn't attacking, he supposed.

"Here." He didn't know what to do with it, so.

"You should go join your family now...I'm sure they're not too far ahead." He smiled a little at the Munna and let go of it, but it just clung back onto him. "Don't you want to go?"
"Munnaaaa.." Was the only response he got.

"Is that how you met your Pokemon?"
